Awesome spot. The tapas were delicious and creative and reflect the chef’s background with a mix of Catalan and Sicilian. The smoked sardines and the mochi truffles were memorable.
Service was good although they seemed a little understaffed.
There is another tapas place next door called Vinitus. Nowhere near as good and yet there is always a line there, mostly tourists. We thought that was ironic.
Leave room for desserts, they were fantastic as well.

avoid absolutly. Nothing authentic. The chef may have travelled to Palermo, but he is unable to cook pasta correctly. Service was- to say the least- non existant ; half an jour just to get the menu, the secondos served befote the primos. Plates thrown across the table. Red RIOJA wine served iced and so forth. The alliance of incompetence and pretension.

We came here the last time we were in Barcelona, and vowed to return. This is an amazing restaurant. The service is exceptional and the food is just gorgeous. We had Langoustine, pork ribs, smoked sardine, octopus and Padrón peppers, and the totally amazing hazelnut dessert.
This place is an absolute must!

It does not look from the outside, but very nice inside, greeted with smile. It is modern tapas, which is explained by a lovely waitress, the choices are not vast but all looked good. There was four us and we shared 8 dishes all good.
Well worth a visit.

This restaurant was recommended to us by our hotel. It is very well located in near Paseo de Gracia, it is a small restaurant but full of stories and enchantment. We asked what the 2254 stand for and the answer bewildered us, ASK!!
We loved the details like the table mats, each one has a different picture that comes with a beautiful inspirational quote. They sell the book with the story of how the restaurant started by the Chef and with delicious recipes. The owner of the restaurant is the chef as well, so that makes it even better.
Apart from all that, the food was absolutely delicious, presented in a beautiful and different manner. The service was very good and the price is perfect for the quality of the food and the whole experience. Would go back every time we visit. Would have loved to meet the chef, but since it was sunday, he was out.
