Just returned for a lovely stay!
We stayed for 3 nights in a family room with an internal view rather than balcony.
This is in a fantastic location just 2 mins from Placa Catalunya where we caught the tour bus each day. The hotel was walking distance to so many attractions, shops and restaurants. We loved the gothic quarter.
We were welcomed with treats and drinks which was lovely after a late flight. Breakfast was really lovely!

I stayed at this lovely hotel for a week. The staff is helpful and positive, all from the basement breakfast area, the lobby, cleaning staff and up to the staff the the roof top bar. The location is very practical, short walk to metro, stores..... You can walk to nearby restaurants, the beach and all the cute narrow streets. The hotel allows you to work out at Holmes Place, which is the best gym I have seen. We had a room with balcony towards the street which was nice and no noice came through the double window so sleeping was easy. We were two from work sharing a room and had to ask for seperate duvets

Brilliant location and excellent for catching early morning airport bus . The building is amazing and spotlessly clean . What makes this hotel is the fabulous staff from the lovely helpful and kind maintenance man who had to show me how to work the tv to the cheery cleaners and breakfast staff . Would highly recommend. Alfonzo’s tapas bar is 2 mins away and is excellent for traditional tapas .

So many things went wrong from the first day of our arrival at the hotel.
Check in was at 3 we got our rooms at 3:40. We got to the room and saw the bathroom sink was next to the bed not in the bathroom which was very inconvenient. We asked for double bed and got two single beds side by side and when we complained at the reception they fixed this by tying the beds together. The hot water was out one day and they never replenished the soap.
Other than that breakfast was good and the staff was nice . The location of the hotel was great.

We are deeply sorry to know that we did not meet your expectations. We apologize if we couldn't have ready your room at the check in time, as depending on the day, sometimes we have too many check in and check outs and we do our best to have the rooms clean as soon as possible. It seems like we could not get all the rooms ready on your check in day, so we apologize for that.
Regarding the sink in the bathroom, we always try to have the most updated photos in the different websites we distribute our hotel. We understand that it is not a common layout, but the design of our rooms (and the entire hotel) demanded us to have the sink separately.
About the double bed, we understand that when we are fully booked, we have to assign twin bedrooms to guests that request double beds and vice versa. In this cases, we recommend to communicate us your bed preferences before (and though this, it is possible that we could not obey all our requests).
We also appreciate your comments about our staff and breakfast. We really hope that you will give us a second chance the next time you visit Barcelona.

What a fantastic gem of a hotel!
Location was perfect only a 5 minute walk from the Plaça de catalunya, which is where the airport bus drops you off so really easy and convenient… a few little cafes nearby plus two small supermarkets.
The staff were so welcoming and friendly plus a glass of Prosecco on arrival which was lovely, we had a room with a balcony with was a lovely addition. Room facilities good, comfy bed, beautiful rituals toiletries , nespresso machine and mini bar, plus we mentioned that we were celebrating our anniversary and the hotel kindly gifted a bottle of Prosecco in our room which was such a lovely gesture.
Breakfast good, lots of choices though sometimes the hot options were a bit tepid, but so many options it didn’t really worry us. Lots of juices, plus mimosas which was a lovely touch and a bit of a treat! A great start to the day!!
The rooftop terrace was lovely and so was the garden lobby bar…nice for a peaceful drink in the evenings.
We would definitely stay here again and if you are looking for a perfect central location then you must stay here…every where was walkable, la ramblas 10 minutes, the port maybe 20 minutes, and we also took a slow stroll to sagrada familia and that took 30-35 minutes so really perfect.
All staff at reception so helpful, helpful with maps and recommendations and buses etc…
If you are thinking of booking here don’t hesitate!
