I cannot express how unhappy we were- we travel often and take the good with the bad most of the time but this was just too much! - also, the rooms are not cheap and therefore you expect a level of service higher than at a Motel 6.
We arrived and were put in a room where the air conditioner made so much noise it would have been impossible to sleep- worse off, the room wasn’t even cold. The shower water was cold and didn’t warm up, the window didn’t open... my goodness! We called reception and were met by an exasperated man who barged in and started taking the went off the ceiling without so much as a hello. He then told me to turn the AC off when I was in the room and leave it running when I was out ‘problem solved’... after going to reception we eventually got another room! This room, oh wow- the ‘mini bar’ fridge was broken/ not on and smelt terrible, there were glue tubes left by the sink, atleast the water was hot in this room but it was so dirty! The amount of dirt in this room was not okay... the AC made less noise but was by no means quiet. The safe didn’t open and the TV didn’t work.
The staff at the front desk were nice and Helpful and did what they could, they were great! It is just a lack of interest on the part of the owner! A great deal needs to be done to get that hotel up to even a 2 star standard.! Poor, poor effort!
