Superb Hotel

Excellent hotel and amazing customer service from all the staff in the hotel.
Clean and modern rooms, also in a great location in the gothic quarter , close to all the tourist destinations with plenty of bars and tapas restaurants nearby.
Would definitely recommend 👌

Great location next to the Gothic Quarter. If you like to walk, you can walk to the beach (about 30 minutes). The lobby is large and cozy. The room we had was of a decent size with built in cabinets with sliding doors for the closet, espresso machine, and minibar. The bed was very comfortable and we had a nice view out of the very large windows. Our bathroom also had a view, however, the handle came off on the bathroom door and I had to get my friend let me out. We also stayed at the H10 Madison and this one is a little more traditional in styling compared to the more modern Madison. It felt a little older and more worn. The roof deck wrapped around the roof and the view was stunning. You can see huge portions of the city. The 'pool' is basically the size of hot tub for 3-4 people maximum. Sufficient if you just want to chill for a bit and have a drink but not for swimming. The hotel provided a free drink card and the roof deck bartender made me an excellent Hemingway daiquiri. The front desk staff will provide a glass of cava or sparkling water on request. And they had fruit and nuts at the desk. However, I did not find the hotel staff to be particularly friendly here, particularly after coming from the Madison. It just felt more formal and standoffish, and I don't know why, but it felt like a lot of the staff were in training. Overall, I'd say that this is a nice hotel in a great location, but it didn't feel really welcoming.

Lovely hotel, had a single room so very small and I hate being penalised for being a single but enjoyed having a bath and a shower and all the lovely aromatic offerings the hotel had to offer. Lovely roof top terrace that was empty most of the time I was there, but I enjoyed it. Next time I’d bring a cossie though because I didn’t realise there was a jacuzzi on offer! Beautiful views nice welcoming reception on arrival. Oh and fab part of the city. Highly recommended.

This is our first time in Barcelona a winter city break we chose this hotel as it is pretty central to where we wanted to be and we where pleasantly surprised fabulous hotel with excellent staff and service from checking in to checking out our stay was amazing friendly professional staff throughout the hotel made our stay for us nothing is to much for them ask for any directions restaurants etc etc they will help everywhere is kept clean the breakfast is lovely not a lot of choice but that didn’t matter to us the rooms are plenty big enough and kept really clean and are very modern with a soaker shower to die for the beds are comfy with plenty of pillows rooms are cleaned daily we loved this hotel and will definitely return if we come back to Barcelona a beautiful not to be missed city and a trip to the camp nou is a must for any football fan

Room tip: The higher the floor the less noise from the metro but this is a city a busy one Great pizzeria up the road near to Mcarthys Irish bar

This hotel lies in the heart of Barcelona. Beautiful rooms, interior, lounge, terrace and serviceminded staff.

The hotel breakfast lies on stair down from the lobby and has a lot to offer to their guests.

We where lucky getting a room to the street during our stay, the 5th of january 2022 and this was also the street where "Los Reyes" where parading so we got an amazing view!!

The view of the city from the terrace is also very beautiful and there are sunbeds up there as well as a smaller bubbelbath. No pool however but this wasent something we where missing in january.

Unfortunately we visited this hotel last year and booked again for this year however the standards have gone down.

They are incredibly understaffed. There is a bar however the young girl was run of her feet doing room service and attending the bar.

Breakfast was awful . Hot food was cold and inedible.
This was brought to the attention of staff but nothing changed.

The reason given was the hot plates were not working !!!

You are a hotel then sought the problem don't expect your guests to eat cold fried eggs, bacon, beans.

New Years Eve my partner tried to order a drink to be told he had to wait for the roof top bar . When they opened the draft was not working . 😕

During the day reception had several staff in the evening they all disappeared.

Management need to sort the staffing situation.
