Amazing Hotel

This is our first time in Barcelona a winter city break we chose this hotel as it is pretty central to where we wanted to be and we where pleasantly surprised fabulous hotel with excellent staff and service from checking in to checking out our stay was amazing friendly professional staff throughout the hotel made our stay for us nothing is to much for them ask for any directions restaurants etc etc they will help everywhere is kept clean the breakfast is lovely not a lot of choice but that didn’t matter to us the rooms are plenty big enough and kept really clean and are very modern with a soaker shower to die for the beds are comfy with plenty of pillows rooms are cleaned daily we loved this hotel and will definitely return if we come back to Barcelona a beautiful not to be missed city and a trip to the camp nou is a must for any football fan

Room Tip: The higher the floor the less noise from the metro but this is a city a busy one Great pizzeria...

This hotel lies in the heart of Barcelona. Beautiful rooms, interior, lounge, terrace and serviceminded staff.

The hotel breakfast lies on stair down from the lobby and has a lot to offer to their guests.

We where lucky getting a room to the street during our stay, the 5th of january 2022 and this was also the street where "Los Reyes" where parading so we got an amazing view!!

The view of the city from the terrace is also very beautiful and there are sunbeds up there as well as a smaller bubbelbath. No pool however but this wasent something we where missing in january.

Unfortunately we visited this hotel last year and booked again for this year however the standards have gone down.

They are incredibly understaffed. There is a bar however the young girl was run of her feet doing room service and attending the bar.

Breakfast was awful . Hot food was cold and inedible.
This was brought to the attention of staff but nothing changed.

The reason given was the hot plates were not working !!!

You are a hotel then sought the problem don't expect your guests to eat cold fried eggs, bacon, beans.

New Years Eve my partner tried to order a drink to be told he had to wait for the roof top bar . When they opened the draft was not working . 😕

During the day reception had several staff in the evening they all disappeared.

Management need to sort the staffing situation.

Having arrived at the H10 Montcada today, 26.12.22 and after a 3am early start, felt compelled to leave an early review. Reception staff excellent, smooth check in, glass of bubbles on arrival, lovely room and very clean.
Thank you very much to the hotel and staff for sorting the birthday cake and a bottle of fizz for my partner's birthday, he was very impressed and so was I.

Spent a week here at the end of November and very impressed while we were. Stayed on a room only basis as we sorted our own meals ourselves. Room, although not huge, was nice and clean and contained everything we required. Best of all is the hotel’s location. Sitting in the gothic quarter just across from the cathedral and a metro station, it’s ideally positioned to enable easy travelling. We took the 48 hour guided red bus tour too which we’d highly recommend. No rush to return as we covered lots of ground whilst we were there but would stay again in future if the need arose.

Room tip: 5th floor side room was good for us.

Great hotel.

PROS: Amazing location
Great room. Comfy bed. Very clean. Beautiful bathroom. All amenities, like robe, slippers.
Room size, not big but comfortable. Lots of storage.

CONS: subway runs underneath hotel. Rumbling often. Did not disturb me, but may bother people.

Notes: Dark hallways. I like this ambiance, but it may bother others. Some street noise but muffled, not loud, did not bother me.

Did not give it a 5 because of the subway underneath.

Room tip: Subway underneath hotel. Rumbling can be annoying to those sensitive to noise. Subway station immediately across street.
