The worst vacation in my life, it's not the same thing then pictures, also its dirty, everyone wanted to have a nice vacation in Barcelona, i give you advice don't go to this hotel.
The bathroom was sooo dirty and brocken,
The room was so cold.
I contacted the reception but they didn’t react

It is an elegant welcoming hotel, with a stylish modern lobby and spacious slick rooms, with a nicely fit retro touch. I stayed three days on a business trip, through my company's booking, for an event at Fira de Barcelona. The location was convenient, as it is close to the venue, but also a short walking distance to the touristic part of the city -and Paral-lel metro is just outside the hotel. Mind though, given the proximity to Apollo Centre, street noise in the night might be annoying -especially if one stays in a front side low floor room.
Other than that, everything was smooth, and the service was attentive and effective in all aspects; lastly the breakfast was above average, comprising both the standard options, but also a local touch.
It is an option I would reconsider, when back in the city, maybe opting for a backside room this time.

I hate writing reviews like this one but sometimes there are no options but to let other travelers know. This was our 2nd time staying here because we loved it so much first time. Came for Christmas time. Good things first, location is excellent, parking (paid) available, clean , modern, comfortable and large enough rooms.
Negative: on Christmas Day, my husband’s gold wedding band disappeared from the room during cleaning. We were exploring and forgot to take it and forgot to put it in safe box. He realized that he forgot it when we were in parking garage but decided not to come back since we trust the security in the hotel. Big mistake on our part, since ring was gone when we got back. Contacted front desk right away, asked for a manager who was not in of course, next day we filed police report as instructed, contacted manager again who took forever to reply to my emails. Nothing was done to make us feel confident or valuable as guests. We were leaving back to US in few days and all this time no one checked in with us, my emails were only answered when I was inquiring. It was a wedding band and it was important, not just the fact it was expensive.
Moving forward few month, after countless emails, their insurance declined the claim and I didn’t even get “we are sorry” email from anyone in the hotel/ management. It is unacceptable!!!!! Very very disappointed! Christmas was ruined and so was our trust in this hotel.

We spent 2 nights in this hotel and were pleased by it. The location is good, facing a metro station and within walking distance to the Ramblas and the Montjuic Fountain. The room was comfortable and the staff was very nice. Taxis are available at the front door. I recommend the breakfast, which is very complete.

First of all, we loved this hotel. The staff was great and the rooms were lovely. However....we were robbed in the lobby restaurant during the day at a corner table. We had checked in the day before and had dinner at the SAME table. Our kids had flown in the second morning and had rested in our room since their rooms were not available. In the early afternoon the adults came down and we were playing cards. A female employee brought us chips without us asking. Later she brought olives. Again without a request for them. I recognized her as the hostess from the upstairs restaurant where we had lunch that day. A man wearing a Michigan shirt came and sat directly next to my daughter. There wasn't another person in the restaurant. I said "GO BLUE". He just looked at me. I repeated myself and my son in law said in Spanish, "your t-shirt" and pointed to his shirt. Coincidence that he walked in off the street? Perhaps... I looked up to see him walking away rapidly and my son in law realized that his phone and wallet that he had sat on the shelf behind my daughter were gone. In Spain you must report your crime and then the police look at the security video. We went to report and the police said we don't speak English...they couldn't have cared less. The hotel wouldn't allow us to view the security tapes. A very unhappy start to our vacation.

In regards to your not very polite comments towards our female employee, in this hotel we have the kindness of taking something to bite while peolple are drinking, it´s a custom in most of spain.
