Level was disappointing in comparison to other Melia Hotels

Hotel was perfectly situated for What we required. Selected a Level junior suite as we have previously been impressed with the level service and lounge. The Lounge was very disappointing, distinct lack of snacks and limited beverage options. There was no beer or lagers and even the soft bottle drinks were not chilled and just left out on the counter.
Our room was a generous size with good amenities.
The coffee at breakfast was frustrating, if the machine was working it was barely Luke warm.
Staff were all lovely and very friendly.

Stayed there over the weekend. Not a 5 star hotel as I was told. Staff a little unorganized. No TV station information in the rooms. Front desk workers did not have a list of local restaurants recommendations. ATM in the lobby was broken and not fixed my entire 3 day stay. Not close to any of the tourist type locations. The cook did fix me a really great omelette on two mornings.

Centrally located for business or pleasure, this hotel is the perfect place for you! The service at the front desk, the breakfast, the restaurant, and the GM were over the top helpful and professional! We appreciated an arranged taxi service when we arrived and departed to BCN airport...especially helpful when we had extra bags and not familiar with the city!

The hotel on the outside is an older building, but the updated modern decor on the inside was top notch throughout. Our room was so incredibly comfortable with high end bedding, lighting, towels, and cleaned to perfection with great protocols for our newest pandemic. Extra lovely details to make our stay incredibly comfortable.

Food was DELICIOUS. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet, The Level Lounge, the restaurant and all was over the top fresh and tasty with local flare. We loved the restaurant were we enjoyed the flavors from their michilen starred chef! We had an early morning flight back to the US and they even prepared a picnic box for us with a coffee togo!

Service beyond belief! So many choices of hotels...but this is what sets this hotel apart...the Christines at the front desk, the servers at the restaurant, the Level Lounge, the breakfast room were amazing and SO accommodating. Bravo to Marc Passola, the Manager who leads this fine group and shows such compassion for running and caring about his staff and this property!

Room tip: Loved our view of the Olympic Tower and park. We visited the sites most of the day and loved the comfort of our room.

We joined a group tour with Insight Vacations and Melia Barcelona is where they had booked us in. We had paid additional to upgrade to The LEvel Club Floor.

Though this is not a very new hotel, the service that we get from THE LEVEL is impeccable. As our tour also includes other Melia hotels in Granada and other part of Spain. The Manager in this hotel has help me to contact the hotel hotels and do the upgrade for me. I am very impressed with their commitment and service.

It’s is a pity that I cannot remember his name. Please check who has attended to Tai RICHARD on 28/2/20 and 29/2/20th as spoke to two different Manager.

The waitress at this level is also very friendly a,d helpful.

Please also extend ,y compliment to them.

Room tip: Their rooms are basically quite small. At the time of booking, please check the size of their rooms. If you need a bigger room.

This is a comfortable hotel, rooms are spacious with good quality beds and all you could need included, the breakfast selection is extensive and service generally very good. The bar area is disappointing, feels like an afterthought to the pizza restaurant. Location is fine, not that far from the center and plenty of restaurants etc in walking distance

Overall great experience. Friendly people. Clean sheets every day.
To be improved:
Windows were not very clean and were opening only from above. Could not enjoy a "clean" view of Barcelona fro my room.
Modern elevators system - was not sure if the elevator would stop at my floor.
