Staff very professional and kindy - location hotel positon top - all important monuments are visitable at walk from the hotel, airport transfer with taxi cost about 35 € at singli course. The ristourant at the base of the hotel it's very good for a dinner.
Perfect location, kindness and professional service. Nice view for breakfast. We had been recommanded some restaurants for diner which we just amazing.

Only downside for us was that it felt quite out of the way - it was about a 15-20 min walk into the main areas of Barcelona - we don’t mind a walk so not too much of a problem for us. A metro station is close by so you could make use of this.
Hotel itself is perfect - clean, staff are friendly, has a rooftop pool and bar area and we had a huge bed! (Not two beds pushed together for once which seems to be a common European thing!)

also had a balcony which was a nice surprise! Well situated close to lots of bars and dining options and also main bus routes but still walkable to the beach and harbour area (20 minutes to the end of the harbour)

Fismuler restaurant which is on the ground floor underneath the hotel is exceptional and also highly recommended.
I have booked REC Life XL 216 with breakfast. everything is fine room is big with a comfy bed. breakfast is ok. The view from the rooftop is fantastic.
Room is very noisy with the bar nearby and pedestrians walk by talking so loud until 1 or 2 am. noise isolation from the outside is very bad.
If you like quiet place don't book this of type room. if you sleep after 2 am yes you will enjoy this hotel.
