My wife and I stayed here during the annual tulip festival. This location is outstanding for the tulip festival. The hotel lobby is a 5 to 10 minute walk in an enclosed hallway from airport arrivals and the airport train station. It costs €6 one way to central station and a 1 day travel pass for Amsterdam is €18. Since we were going to several small towns near Amsterdam the proximity of the train station was perfect. We bought the 3 day tulip festival card which included admission to Keukenhof gardens.
The hotel had several excellent amenities:
1. Good fitness center
2. We are Marriott ambassadors so we got access to the club lounge as well as free breakfast. The buffet breakfast is excellent and includes an omelette station
3. ATM in the lobby
4. Lounge serves a light meal from 4 to 7 pm. Coffee and snacks are available all day
5. The club floor included a refreshment center with a self service coffee machine.
6. Friendly, helpful staff

There were a couple of minor issues that could be improved. The lounge coffee machine was not working 2 of the 5 mornings we were there. I informed the front desk and they resolved the issue quickly. The shower in the room is a nice rainfall shower but the water pressure is only adequate not strong. Perhaps this is an effort for water conservation.

All in all, we enjoyed an excellent stay and the hotel amenities and location merit a 5 star rating in spite of minor opportunities to improve

I had some complications with my reservation that had to be resolved at check in time. Solana and Demy were knowledgeable, professional, and friendly as they quickly resolved the issue. What a pleasure to be welcomed in that way.
