It was the great experience I’ve come to expect from all Marriott Bonvoy properties. We caught a break and we’re able to check in over six hours early rather than just having them hold our bags. The room was clean and extremely comfortable. The staff was a nice as any I’ve encountered anywhere. We only had one day in Amsterdam and want to come back and spend more time there, and we will very likely stay here again.

All was very simple and not a lot of personnel, but the few staff that I encountered was very kind and attentive. The rooms very nice and a great bed. Also is inside the airport, so if you are just staying for a night waiting for the next flight, is very convenient.

There is active construction in the hotel and one part is old and rundown with lots of noise and the other part is redone and very similar to Hyatt Place rooms. I booked a room with airport view (more expensive) unaware that there was major construction. I was initially given an “old” room with a dirty towel and malfunctioning ac. There was also no airport view unless you stood in one corner and looked at an extreme angle. I attached a picture of my view from the room. I complained and finally got the room that I basically booked. When I let management know what happened I got the usual but I got the room that I booked so why am I complaining?!
I can no longer recommend this hotel.

The biggest attraction of this hotel is that it is supposed to be inside the airport, you can walk there under cover. Not true. Some cretin appears to have blocked off that entrance and you must now lug your baggage a long way through car parks in the rain to get in. The blockage appears to be permanent.
The rooms are ordinary, no tea and coffee in the room. A machine on each floor. Big lines in the morning waiting for the thing to work.
The bed is ok but the pillows are rocks.
At seven in the morning banging and scraping came from somewhere nearby making it impossible to,sleep.
Some inept architect thought it a good idea to do a cheap copy of a was trendy 40 years ago open lobby hotel with scary glass walls. Why?
I would have given it one star but the bar area is nice enough and the Dutch type snacks they serve are very tasty. And the staff there are friendly.
I have also stayed at the Hilton, which actually is accessible from the airport and overall it’s a lot better. Though not great.

We are very sorry to read that it was not completely clear where our entrance is. It has indeed been temporarily moved to street level, we hope to have our old entrance back in September. We have put signage out to inform our guests of the change, and the information has been updated on our website. However, your feedback will definitely be shared with our team so they can check the information and make it more clear.

Great hotel. It is a 5-10 minute walk to airport. The entire walk is covered, so it doesn't matter what the weather is doing.
There is a grocery store and beer store 5min walk, inside the airport.
The train into the city is a 5 min walk. Great for early morning/afternoon departures
