Hotel rooms are big enough for a airport hotel with modern facilities. Ample care given due to COVID-19. I could see effort being made to disinfect rooms and alcohol wipes and solution are provided. Breakfast was a simple box catered as buffet lines were all closed but luxurious enough. Coffee machines available at every floor. Certainly a worth stopover on your long transit via AMS airport. Albert Heijn (local supermarket) available at the lower floor of the airport as you walk by.

Well taken care of at the Sheraton

Stayed two nights, two people arriving on different flights it seemed to make sense to stay close to the airport instead of messing around with buses.

The Sheraton had a good price and it’s literally 2 minutes walk from the terminal over a connecting walkway. They offered an early check in which was appreciated after a long flight.

The room was well appointed, clean and the bed was super comfortable. We didn’t use any of the hotel facilities opting to eat out. The next morning we quite overslept as the room was so quiet.

We had a nice view over the airport and the hotel staff were all very pleasant and helpful. They had ice machines which I always appreciate and coffee stations for you to help yourself.

I’d definitely stay here again, it was a very relaxing two night stay before our vacation and then moving to a downtown Amsterdam hotel.

Unwelcome

We had one night in Schiphol due to cancellation of a connecting flight. I looked at booking.com for available hotel rooms and decided to book at Sheraton. When we walked in half an hour later, we were met with suspicion. Did I really book ?? I showed the confirmation mail. Could they see my passport ? I produced it. Did I book in the same name as in my passport - (the confirmation with my name was still there) etc. etc. We eventually did get a room.

Purr..fect ...

If one can afford a bit of luxury and is in Amsterdam only for Tulips (season), Sheraton is the best place to stay. Centrally located atop Airport and Station, all buses to Kukenhof to see tulips leads from here. Comfort and service? Well, its Sheraton!

Another great stay

I try to stay at this hotel when i'm routing through Schipol and it never disappoints. The rooms are a good size, the food and drinks are plentiful in choice and flavour and i've always had service with a smile. Great place to stay and so very convenient for the airport.

Amazing convenience

Very nice hotel connected directly to the terminal, you can't get closer than this. Great service on the front desk, nice clean rooms (although a bit outdated with furnishings/decor, one less star for that). If you get an airport view, it is quite an amazing sight to see the air traffic control tower and all the large planes taking off/landing. Very cool! The best thing is the shopping and dining at the airport. You don't have to eat at the hotel, and the main airport terminal has cool shops. So if you need to kill time, you can easily do so there. I would definitely stay here again on any in/out trip to AMS!
