Great for the price! The rooms are super clean and have been updated. You have all the amenities you need, the wifi works well and is fast, there’s plenty of parking, the beds are very comphy, front desk staff are super friendly, and you’re surrounded by plenty of coffee places and great restaurants. The location itself is quiet but just a little far from the core if you’re walking.

We stayed at Rocky Mountain Ski Lodge this past weekend on a family ski trip. It was nice having enough space for the 4 of us to be comfortable for 3 nights. It was clean, the staff helpful and friendly, and quiet during the night. When I went to check out, it was the first time in years that someone actually asked how everything was. It was nice to feel that our business and opinion was valued. We can’t wait to come back!

We love this hotel . We have stayed a couple of times so far and although yes it’s old , it’s perfect for what it is. So comfy and spacious . The staff are also wonderful . We will always stay here . It’s a Canmore gem ! We love the condo style room . Don’t listen to the negative reviews .

I was woken up at 6 am by some slight noise in the motel room. It turned out a mouse got trapped in the garbage bag/bin in the bathroom. Called the front desk to find out that they couldn't remove the mouse until 7 am. However the housekeeper collected the mouse around 8:30 am.
Thanks for your review 673allad. I am sorry about the mouse. As all of our doors are exterior facing they do sometimes enter rooms with out being seen. Apologies again for the inconvenience though.
First the good news: clean and quiet. Bath was modern enough compared to the rest of the property.
Bad news: This is owned by Banff Lodging which has some fine properties in Banff. They should tear this place down and start over. Could not wait to check out. 2 light bulbs missing and one outlet did not work. A few ants in the bathroom.
We ae one of the older properties in beautiful Canmore, but pride ourselves in offering clean and comfortable rooms at some of the best rates in town. I hope that you told us about the light bulbs and power outlet. This would have been a quick and easy fix.
