We stayed for 2 nights with two children and had a great stay. While the hotel was very busy and pool area was packed, the staff was prepared and we had fun. The room was comfortable, the staff was friendly and accommodating and the amenities were perfect. There was some minor challenges at the restaurant with number of guests at this time. However, the restaurant and bar are a big plus at this property especially during winter stays. There is no need to leave although there is a dollar store and restaurants near by. Very clean with well equipped room.

very clean, nice mid-size hotel in the central part of the city. The rooms are very clean and up to expectations of a 3-star hotel. It is one of only a few hotels with a convention centre. The location is pretty central in the city. Sufficient sports facilities and small business amenities if needed. I requested a late checkout at noon, and they were very quick to honour my request happily (Thanks to the front desk Madame). Basement parking is available if needed. The last but not least, the front desk staff is very accommodating, friendly, and professional, which made some of the negatives bearable or even out.

The swimming pool and the fitness room are small, but it is like this everywhere in the size of the hotel.

If I may give inputs for improvements to the management:
1. Swimming pool needs to have more frequent maintenance, as I have noticed bugs in the hot water pool.
2. Swimming pool is not deep enough at the deepest point.
3. No bathrobe. There should be bathrobes available in the room, or at least the management should provide them by request.

Hadn't been in this hotel for 20 years and although the name has changed - not much else has. The front reception has been upgraded as well as the lounge and restaurant. The rooms have had some upgrades but were pretty much the same. I did like the heated floors in the bathrooms and the walk-in showers. The mattresses need to be rotated and the desk chair was broken.

The water slide and hot tube weren't working when we got there, but they did get somebody there about 1 hour after we called it in.

All in all - it was okay.
