Went there for an overnight trip and just got back. Front desk service is average but Echo resturant will really blow the minds of whoever goes there-they are reasonably priced and give out generous food portions. The hotel is also VERY clean and the housekeepers deserve the tips they get-not one spot could be found in the hotel.

very clean, nice mid-size hotel in the central part of the city. The rooms are very clean and up to expectations of a 3-star hotel. It is one of only a few hotels with a convention centre. The location is pretty central in the city. Sufficient sports facilities and small business amenities if needed. I requested a late checkout at noon, and they were very quick to honour my request happily (Thanks to the front desk Madame). Basement parking is available if needed. The last but not least, the front desk staff is very accommodating, friendly, and professional, which made some of the negatives bearable or even out.
The swimming pool and the fitness room are small, but it is like this everywhere in the size of the hotel.
If I may give inputs for improvements to the management:
1. Swimming pool needs to have more frequent maintenance, as I have noticed bugs in the hot water pool.
2. Swimming pool is not deep enough at the deepest point.
3. No bathrobe. There should be bathrobes available in the room, or at least the management should provide them by request.
The swimming pool and the fitness room are small, but it is like this everywhere in the size of the hotel.

Stayed on a Saturday/Sunday. Came in a few mins before the 3pm check in and was able to check in without an issue. They had everything ready. Was a quick check in but could have been a bit more friendly.
Room was nice and clean but missing a few things like USB charging ports, hunted around the room a bit before I Found one. The shower in the room was nice.
Had a room that overlooked the pool, noise from the pool was minimal. Good amounts of plug ins and lights.
AC for the unit was nice and quiet.
Hot tub was out of service which was a disappointment. They didn't tell you that when you checked in.

Hotel's Favourite
We stayed for 2 nights with two children and had a great stay. While the hotel was very busy and pool area was packed, the staff was prepared and we had fun. The room was comfortable, the staff was friendly and accommodating and the amenities were perfect. There was some minor challenges at the restaurant with number of guests at this time. However, the restaurant and bar are a big plus at this property especially during winter stays. There is no need to leave although there is a dollar store and restaurants near by. Very clean with well equipped room.

My Husband and I along side our 2 children stayed here for 3 nights mid-july. Our room was immaculately clean, spacious & very comfortable. Upon arrival we noticed however our room had no hand soap, shampoo, no toiletries. I found this odd especially during a global pandemic, but minor.
The pool here was phenomenal. The pool attendant, I can’t remember her name but she was lovely - very sweet to my kids. I enjoyed talking with her.
My only small complaint, is that during our stay, (we stayed on the 5th floor) ; the hallway constantly smelled of cannabis smoke. We were in the process of moving across Canada & coming and going frequently from the hotel. Every time we would open our hotel room door, morning, noon, night the overpowering smell would waft in. Despite signs everywhere indicating the building is smoke-free.
All in all it was a good stay, and my kids loved the pool. We would stay here again.

Hadn't been in this hotel for 20 years and although the name has changed - not much else has. The front reception has been upgraded as well as the lounge and restaurant. The rooms have had some upgrades but were pretty much the same. I did like the heated floors in the bathrooms and the walk-in showers. The mattresses need to be rotated and the desk chair was broken.
The water slide and hot tube weren't working when we got there, but they did get somebody there about 1 hour after we called it in.
All in all - it was okay.

It was an alright stay. The hotel staff was amazing. The hotel is a bit dated and could use a facelift. My room door strike plate had no screw in it and was banging on the hinge. It got fixed after I went to housekeeping. Toilet leaked and was always running. Fridge was loud not only in my room but in the room of someone traveling with me. Again stay was alright however wouldn't be my 1st choice anymore.

Good hotel - pool was good and they had a little wading pool for the younger kids which is a strong positive. They dealt with a hockey group rating very well with no issues. The only item is that it would be nice to get a complimentary breakfast included.

We stayed two nights at the Clarion while visiting family in Brandon. The family themed suite was great for our family of 5. We chose this hotel specifically because they have reopened their pool and we were not disappointed. The pool, water slide and hot tub were great for the kids. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was very modern, nicely renovated bathroom. Hallways are a bit dark though and could use some updating. Will definitely consider this hotel again the next time we are in Brandon.

Good hotel. Staff very polite and nice. The room very clean and the bed very comfy . close to couples resto but you do need to go to far to have a very good meal. The food a the hotel resto is delicious I eat fish and chip and it was the best one I had for the last 10 years and the were awesome. We will stop again for sure.

Yes the pool was fully re-tiled this past year. The motor for the water slide was also replaced with a stronger one (more power and better water flow).
11 AM is the standard check-out time. Based on our occupancy levels, we may be able to offer a later check-out time of up to 1 PM at no extra charge.
Check In time is 3:00 pm. We can accommodate early check in's if the room is ready, you will have to call the Front Desk at 204-728-5775 to ask about an early check in.
