Very clean and comfy hotel it has the basics you want in travelling. It is in a good location for getting around Brandon. We were thankful to have an electric plug to use on a bitterly cold night Excellent staff working there.

Our biggest complaint was that there was no luggage carts and when I asked for a room on the main floor, I was told we had booked through hotels.com so we could not get a room on the main floor. I felt like we penalized for booking through them. I would not even have know about this hotel had I not booked through hotels.com. There is no luggage carts because they said they did not know how to deal with them with covid. Could you not have sanitizer there for people to clean it themselves before and after use? Just a suggestion. We stayed for three nights and were okay for the cleaning staff not being able to enter the room during the stay and we were okay with picking food for breakfast from a menu and have it delivered to the room (though they did get the order wrong the first day). The bed and pillows were good. So was the shower. I liked their air conditioning units. The best I have seen. It is a older motel that could use a freshening up but it was fine for us. Overall, our stay was very pleasant. The staff was friendly enough though I have seen friendlier staff at other motels we have stayed at.

We booked the handicap room due to the mobility issues with my mom. The room was nice and big and direct access to the outside was great. We found that the beds and pillows were very uncomfortable and way too high for someone with mobility issues and the bathroom did not have a shower stall, just a tub/shower, which my mom could not use as she couldn't get into the tub (too high). The staff were great and very friendly and it was nice that since the breakfast room was closed (Covid issue) they offered a simple breakfast delivered to your room.

I stopped here after a long drive and chose the location because of positive reviews on this site. Despite the state of emergency in Manitoba, none of the staff wore masks, not even the person handing out the breakfast bags. I was surprised by that.
When I checked in, I quoted the best price I found online which also showed rooms available at that price, but the staff at the desk said they only had main floor rooms available which were more expensive. Had I known I was going to pay $20 more than the online rate, I would have chosen to go elsewhere.
After parking around back, I went to access the building to find that the card lock on the exit closest to my room was broken. I had to walk all the way around the front with my luggage and then find my way to the back of the hotel again. When I told the staff at the desk, he was said they were aware that the card lock was broken and hadn't got around to fixing it. That might have been good information to give me before I parked around back.
The room was dated, furniture tired and worn, but overall comfortable. There were many insects in the room - both alive and some squashed on the wall which had never been cleaned up. There was no tissue anywhere in the room. The AC unit was so loud that I had too use earplugs to sleep. I did not rest well here,
As others have mentioned, I feel like this was once a much nicer place, but it has not been kept up well and has now deteriorated to the point where I would not stay here again, especially not at the price I paid.

This was possibly the worst hotel I’ve ever experienced and it’s not the fault of the building but of the lacklustre and simply rude and uncaring staff We were a work group staying here for a week We work outdoors and often come back in wet jeans We returned to find that the hotel does not clean the rooms, empty your garbage or supply fresh towels unless you go to the front desk to request them ??? Young women in the party had to take plastic clear garbage bags with used sanitary products downstairs and hand them to the staff which was atrocious!! The beds we’re comfortable and the little couch a nice touch as was the excellent computer chair With a caring staff and some major cosmetic updates this could be a good hotel The kitchen / breakfast was the worst of the experience The attendant was late opening every day we even had yo go to the front desk and ask when it was open as we all needed to eat and leave The website says free tea in your room , I had none only coffee and offers a breakfast buffet??? The dining room had 3 cold cereals, moldy hard boiled eggs in a jar of water ???and fruit that was actually slimy and there was about three spoons in the Tupperware container There was cold bacon but no eggs as the attendant literally spent the entire time anytime we were there on her phone sitting in the little office in plain view of everything She was asked why there were no muffins so she got up took 4 muffins out of the deep freezer and placed the frozen solid Muffins on the counter I took my muffin to the front desk and droop it from about a foot above the counter and let it drop to show it was frozen solid and was told I could heat it up I’m the microwave Then we were told that muffins were reserved only for weekends Absolutely the worst The front desk told us it takes 45 minutes to make up the pre-made eggs so they cannot possibly have them ready at the same time as the bacon Soooo if you want a paper bowl with some cold bacon, a yogurt and a juice that all you can expect for the “ breakfast The waffle Maker was broken and sitting on the counter so that was not available either“ The website says free coffee tea cookies and fruit 24 hours nothing available expand empty coffee pot The front desk was very unhelpful when we tried to ask why the rooms weren’t cleaned she picked up a card sign and rudely dropped in front of me stating we don’t clean rooms for long stays When I checked in and did not see this sign and told her it was not visible and they should tell us the rooms aren’t cleaned My blow dryer was broken so I called the front desk asking for a replacement and was told they didn’t have keys to where the dryers were so I was out of luck so I got to stand there with wet hair In short we canceled the rest of our stay moving to a fair superior hotel in Brandon and they lost our business and I will Tell everybody this is the worst hotel with the worst staff I’ve ever stayed in

This Inn was awesome. The front desk was very courteous and helpful. The room was perfect for us. We want to go back again. The free beakfast was a full breakfast with eggs and waffles and sausages, bacon juice, the whole deal. Not what I expected and a very pleasant surprise. The room was very reasonable. We will definitely be going back. Parking is limited but if you get there early it's not a problem

The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, there are restaurants located near the hotel, it was quiet. We were told upon checking in that we were considered a long term stay (2 nights) so they wouldn’t be providing housekeeping. This did not give us a decrease on the room rate though. There was one bar of soap in the bathroom so you have to remember to take it into the shower. Breakfast was a portable bag of items. Understandable due to covid and close dining. All in all it was ok, just wish they would have provided daily housekeeping.

I'd stay at the Lakeview Inns & Suites again. The price was reasonable and there was more than adequate parking. There were restaurants right across the parking lot and a convenience store across the street. The hotel was very clean. I took note of the care that cleaning staff put into arranging items on the desk or how they folded the towels. Not a matter of functionality, but it shows a level of care that I appreciate. The only reason for the 4 instead of a 5 was that I thought the staff, though helpful and knowledgeable, could have been more personable. I like to feel appreciated for bringing my business to an establishment.

We were in between medical appointments and needed a quiet reasonable room…and a facility on a major street providing access to the hospital where treatments were occurring. Lake view Inns and Suites gave us all we needed. Subway is nearby and offered all we required for menu.

Hot breakfast available ONLY to vaxxed clients. They will not offer take out. Cold breakfast was available by skulking back to front desk. If government regulations continue to encourage discrimination, excellent businesses could find ways to meet the needs of all their clients. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. My room was beside utility room that had very loud appliance turning on/off throughout the night. Staff was polite. Evening reception worker was very good.
