We rented a newer renovated wolf loft condo. Overall this was a good experience but there were some pros and cons. Our request for one of the few mountain view rooms was honored room 2007 right beside the office. Was able to park close after Sunday checkout otherwise the Saturday and Sunday morning was very busy but check in was still fast, efficient and very friendly ! most of the rooms don't have any view the way the resort was designed with steep overhangs.

WE loved the condo. the decor, fireplace ( a tiny bundle is 8.00 extra comes with kindling and matches), two bathroom and full mostly equipped kitchen with a dishwasher. there were some issues with the heating there is a small electric baseboard which we believed the sensor is going as we put room temp up to 24 and still not warm. the heavy curtains block some of the heat so we kept them away from the heater. Upstairs same and the upstairs stone floor was ice in the bathroom.

the wolfe loft bed was super comfy with good pillows and sheets. TV worked with adequate channels. Loved the natural hand creme and foam soap. the pull out sofa was very stained on main floor but we had read others comments and brought a large sheet to put over it. We had to ask for extra warm blankets three in total due to cool temps in the condo even with heat up and they were quick to bring anything we asked, table with 4 comfy chairs was good. Tea kettle, coffe maker and toaster worked. we brought our own frying pan and a few utensils as places usually dont have good fry pans glad we did. They supply lots of papertowels which was good. The floors have been colored on with black felt pen by what looks like someones kids. We bought groceries from home as food is pricey in Banff. We also stopped in Canmore for a few things too, the fridge was large full size which we liked and did not freeze things either which usually happens in rentals.

We liked the pool, hot tub and the had drinks in the restaurant all were good no complaints.

what we did not like was that the parking lot cleaned with super loud equipment at 430 am. Keep in mind trains go by about every hour bring ear plugs and eye mask to deal with it. Dishwasher was VERY loud, bulbs above stove broken making cooking in dim light and cant be replaced though they tried, dirty and mouldy drainboard that i had to wash myself really needs replaced and dirty serving spoons as well as a very dirty and grimy stove that smoked with grease. (My advise is to WASH ALL DISHES, COOKWEAR AND CUTLERY before even thinking about using them. It was dirty behind the side tables in loft upstairs which gives a not so good vibe. All these things were brought to the attention of the front desk staff and response to have someone check or make it right was very good.

we were concerned to rent here based on some pretty negative reviews but we thought it was great for the price just over 630 for 3 people on the first weekend in December. WE dont usually stay in Banff due to terrible crowds and congestion but it was not bad at all this time of year especially Sunday night and Monday.Our favorite place is the organic bakery Wild flour and the rock and gem store as well as the trading post on the way to the hot springs. We did not care for the museum beside thought it was a lot of money for what was there ...dont be afraid to stay here but be sure to book the newer condos

Have stayed twice- wasn’t overly clean first trip but thought it was a one off. This time was worse. Around bolts on toilet seat was disgusting, dining chairs, coffee tables, dirty dishes, and plugged sink. This place has great potential as it’s in a quiet location, wood burning fireplaces, stocked kitchen, comfortable sofas, but really needs a top to bottom cleaning. Had it been clean, I’d have reviewed at a 5.
