We decided to go on a night way at the last moment, my wife booked this hotel 18 hours before we arrived and for a week just before Christmas and at $130 a night it was perfect we are not picky people at all and it worked for us it was clean, nice sheets and comfy bed. It would be nice if it had a Keurig coffee maker instead of those weak gross coffee filter machines.
I would stay there again.
I chose this hotel for its location and it definitely made going around banff easier. They offer an underground parking space as well. Our room was so nice and clean. Ill definitely come back here next time. They also have the rocky mountain house shampoo, conditioner, and body wash and thats a plus for me. Great staff, awesome location, secured parking.
Rather dated decor - like going back to 1970's. Room was massive with plenty of room and two big beds. We were'nt there for very long as we arrived late after exploring Banff and left early to head west.
I was a bit mindful of the curtains as we were on the ground level at the back, and the restaurant staff would smoke outside and there were people parking but luckily it wasn't noisy at nighttime.
It's 5 mins walk to the main Banff area where there are plenty of cafes and shops. We liked the Elk cafe in their hotel which was modern and beautiful inside and was such a constrast to our hotel.
Recently stayed with a group for a retreat. The staff had the conference room set up for us as we had asked and were available to answer questions and assist with anything technical we needed. Beds were comfortable We’d love to come back.
we checked in by 1pm although the check in time was 4pm. The receptionist was very nice and explained everything to us for our stay in Banff. She gave us 3 day bus pass and also booked the gondola and lake Minnewanka cruise. Room sizes are decent and they have a mexican restaurant as well. Rooms are clean and tidy with all the amenities listed.
