so so Resort on a beautiful beach

OK, the one bedroom unit with living room and kitchen with kitchen table and chairs: Old. cushions on cement slabs are the couches although laying on them with the slider open with breezes was nice. Can't drink the water, they provide a pitcher to get water from a Empura bottled water dispenser in hallway. tiled shower old and some tile moldy, bathroom sink old and stained, microwave only stayed on 30 seconds at a time, hard plastic beach long chairs that only became possible to use if we took the chair pads off the kitchen chairs to attach to lawn chairs, they do have tiki huts for shade. But the beach and location is great! We didn't use pool. Most of the guests here are Mexican.

Our room was old and cleaning could have been better but the view was great. The staff fantastic food could be a little better where selection is concerned. We did have a good time. I do not think music in the dining room in the mourning should be played ,and it was loud.

I don’t ever write reviews. However, I don’t want people that come to enjoy themselves on vacation to have the same experience. The bathroom was disgusting. There was black mold everywhere. The rooms have extremely thin walls so you can hear everything around the room. They say you get a bathtub you do not. I have young kids so a bath tub is something I needed. They say they have 3 restaurants. They do not. They have three but only one at a time is running. The food choices were extremely limited.

On a positive note the beach was beautiful. My kids had a blast on the beach. The drinks were pretty good.

Took me back 30 years ago when I first visited Mexico. The food was so bad! Full of oil and not fresh with the exception of the fruit the all inclusive is not suitable for consumption. They took zero precautions for COVID only masks in their tiny lobby were worn. The buffet lines were a free for all and no one was watching or serving the food. North American Tourists were checking out and losing their money and rebooking somewhere else. BUYER BEWARE staying here will ruin your vacation!
Pools are tiny and Motel 6 has nicer pools. The beach is the only good thing here.
Some of the staff is nice but not all as their major clientele are the drive in local people, Covid or sick stomach is your only guarantee here.no value at 100.00 per night all inclusive many wonderful resorts nearby but not this one!!!

Room tip: newer tower perhaps air conditioning will work

second week of March - for us, perfect weather. The hotel is popular with Mexican families on vacation, which for us, added to the value of our Mexican vacation. Lots of cleaning going on here, all the time - our suite and the resort was always near spotless. Staff were terrific, all the time. Right on a beautiful sandy beach, and lots of it. Must eat or do take-out from Eddie's, a well-priced excellent restaurant a short walk away. Catch the high-quality Saturday market also a short walk away, and the much larger Tuesday market using the 25 peso water taxi beside Eddie's. Located in Nuevo Vallarta which adjoins Puerto Vallarta, meaning you take a taxi, uber or city bus from the hotel to PV, which is where most of the tourist action takes place - ask for the Malecon, the downtown beach strip where tourists will get anything and everything they want, as well as the Saturday market downtown, the largest market in the area. Taxis are not expensive, and ubers are somewhat cheaper, but the buses and colectivos are much, much cheaper, as is typical of Mexico. It's a bit of an adventure to figure out the public transportation here, and you'll meet lots of locals whose english is only 'un pocito', but for us it was definitely worthwhile, as we got out a lot. And mucho gracias to Raul at reception who worked through some booking issues to permit us to lengthen our stay in the suite we started out in - 2606, which I highly recommend for its lovely balcony, kitchen and ocean views.

I stayed for 4 days. I was disappointed with the room I got (the walls were so thin and small!) so I decided to eat. And the food was okay but would never eat again. The elevator in the hotel was old and shaky, PLEASE UPDATE THAT! I was in the pool with my family and a rag fell from the men cleaning the building! The men cleaning had sandles! NO SAFETY! And why is there a POOL TABLE OUTSIDE THE RESTROOM?! It was uncomfortable to have to ask to make room to enter the bathroom. Everything was too much work for the customer. It was the worst investment in a hotel I have ever had. My family and I came to relax and be served, not do everything myself. And the staff was rude and inconsistent, so many rules I had to follow! I can only turn in my towel once and for a limited time or to the front desk! I and not able to move tables around for my family to eat altogether. I was not allowed to serve myself food in an outside buffet till I had a mask, which is okay, but none were provided AND lots of staff did not even wear it themselves. I have to use a specific cup to be served my drink. I was not able to move seats around. AND THESE RULES ARE APPLIED SOMETIMES! It was uncomfortable and inconsistent. Do better.
