My spouse and daughter (adult) stayed at the Cleopatra Villa (The Harbour) from December 9 to 26, 2017. The location is convenient to grocery stores, shopping, restaurants, bars and a short walk to Reduit Beach. We stayed in Unit 21 which is a stand alone Villa. We had the harbour steps away from the Villa so had great views of the sailboats, fish activity, nice breeze and beautiful evenings on the terrace. For the most part the Villa was good, but could use some upgrades, as well as ensuring burned out lights, the dishwasher and dryer were working prior to arrival. There is security at the Villa and the grounds were well maintained. The drive from the airport is anywhere from 1 1/2 to 2 hrs depending on the time of day and traffic. Upon arrival Robert greeted us at the Villa and provided us with information on the condo, and area. We had rented a vehicle and it was dropped off the next day. We used the vehicle to tour around to Pigeon Island, Castries , Marigot Bay, Soufriere, Naked Fisherman and various other places. We booked a 9 am to 5 pm tour to go to Marigot Bay, Soufriere, tour to Volcano, Botanical gardens and waterfall through Robert. Our tour guide and driver was Andrew who was entertaining, friendly and provided lots of information about our tour and as well as information about the Island as he has been living on St. Lucia for sometime. We stopped at Hummingbird Resort and took a stroll to the beach. There is a Batik studio at the resort and we managed to purchase two Batik wall hangings. Our tour guide also took us to Rabot Estate Cacao, where we purchased Chocolates and great view of the Pitons. We arrived back at the Villa around 5 pm . At Marigot Bay there is a restaurant across the water that you can take a water taxi (no charge) if you wish to dine at Doolittles. We also went to Pigeon Island so I would recommend a visit and stop by for refreshments and food at Jambe du Bois, good food, vegetarian options. While in Rodney Bay, I checked out Feng Shui Spa, a short walk from our Villa. I visited the Spa on three occasions and had amazing massages from Niola. Prices were also very good in comparison to what I would pay in Canada for similar services. Reduit beach is within walking distance from our Villa, so its worth a visit. We had lunch at Spinnakers, which was okay. If anyone is looking for natural facial and body products, there is a store in the Mall at Rodney Bay called Caribbean Blue. These products are made in St Lucia and are quite nice, worth a visit. Big Chef restaurant and the Tapas are next door to the Villa, also good restaurants. We were disappointed at the Cap Maison restaurant, expensive, poor service and food not worth the price. Friday nights at Gros Islet, there is a street party, with entertainment, drinks, and food. We took the bus down to the event and a taxi back to the Villa. We enjoyed our visit to St. Lucia, our experiences, meeting friendly locals and relaxing evenings on the terrace at the Villa.
