My wife and I stayed 1 night with a Hotels.com reservation.
After an 50 minute night flight from Antigua, we waited for our confirmed hotel pickup. After 15 minutes, I called and the owner apologized and came immediately (driver was sick and there would be no US $10 charge) for the 1.2 km west to this hotel.
Her nice granddaughter took our Visa payment, provided WiFi code, then showed us down to our ground floor Studio A. (Our confirmed Studio D had been given away by mistake to a late arriving group). We entered a small private patio to a simple but spacious room with a firm queen, 2 side closets, small wall TV with English cable channels, AC, fan and only one of the 3 lights worked. To the side was a small kitchen with table and 2 chairs, and further down, the bathroom with an odd vented bi-fold door and bare stall shower. We asked for toilet paper, a hand towel and 2 coffee mugs.
The AC quit running during the night and we put on the fan which did not control the no see-ums. Our morning shower had no hot and very slow cold water.
Our 7:30 AM patio breakfast included scrambled eggs with cheese, salad, 2 types of bread and coffee with a delightful view over the bay surrounded by tropical gardens. We could hear the waves gently hitting the shore and saw a plane coming in to land. At 8:15 AM, the owner kindly dropped us at the bus station on her way to town at no charge.
We found this quiet friendly hotel a convenient stay for our after dark flight and a decent value at US$84 per night.
