Fabulous

I was actually dreading staying at Time Out after reading reviews but am so glad I did!
Cannot believe the negative reviews apart from the cockerels, so take ear plugs, plus it adds to the quirky Bajan feel of the holiday.
Lovely small hotel with very nice pool kept clean at all times.
My pool facing room was most satisfactory, cleaned every day, fresh towels provided when needed, 2 nice comfy double beds, powerful shower with plenty of hot water and brilliant air-con + adequate fridge even though it won’t freeze water for ice. Loads of wardrobe, cupboard + drawer space, full length mirror (a must for us ladies!) hair dryer, iron + board and a safe which you get the key and lock for from reception.
Fantastic location, stones throw from the beautiful beach across the road and walking distance from ALL the bars and restaurants in the Gap, and taxis readily available right outside
I had a wonderful stay so thank you Time Out Hotel and didn’t break the bank.

3 night stay after cruising around eastern carribean

Ignore the negative reviews.
Nice place and rooms good with ample space, air con is fab.
Just a stroll over to beach with all bars & restaurants a short walk along the strip.
Staff very obliging & friendly.
The fish market is a must visit on a Friday evening, great atmosphere.

Fab staff, food not so good

First time at timeout. The staff were lovely and very friendly especially the bar staff. The location is fabulous right next to Dover beach..
We stayed in roon 225 which is located directly above the bar so very very noisy when entertainment was on, which lasted till after 12.00 on occasions also very close to lawrence gap bars so again very noisy with music etc most nights.
The food wasn't very good, breakfast very basic and on 2 occasions the water urn wasn't full so couldn't have tea or coffee... had to wait for a staff to full it up, I asked 3 times and eventually after 45 mins it was filled.
Had a evening meal once.... burger and chips... it was so salty I couldn't eat it.
Don't think I'd stay here again which is a shame as the reception staff and bar staff were Fantastic and made my holiday

Room tip: Don't get west side room, far too noisy

Second visit - even better than the first

Our second stay - the first was excellent and this was even better. They appreciated our return and gave us a thank you of some local rum which was much appreciated by us. The room with poolside view and balcony was ample size, very comfortable and even better than we had last time. The staff are very welcoming and obliging.

Room tip: Get breakfast included

Not the best

Well what can I say Time Out is not the best place to stay . Room smelt musky all the time , safe didn’t work at all why we were there , no hangers in the wardrobe asked for some but were told they didn’t have any to fit found out all rooms had the same hangers ? Staff around the hotel weren’t friendly didn’t even crack a smile at you . Most of reception team were pleasant .pool was clean and lovey Amigos well don’t bother again most staff were rude just looked through you . They have a notice up no receipt you don’t have to pay not once did we get a receipt and prices changed every time .
Beach is beautiful and a minute walk away .

We are concerned to hear about the smell in your room and the malfunctioning safe. Your comfort and safety are our top priorities, and we are sorry for any inconvenience caused. Our team are here to accommodate our guests who may have an issue, and we would typically offer an alternative room if there were any problems during your stay.

All of our rooms have hangers, shelves, and a chest of drawer with 6 drawers. We usually do not have any requests for extra hangers, however we will ensure we stock extra hangers in case of requests like these in the future.

We appreciate your positive remarks about the cleanliness of the pool, and we are pleased that our reception team left a positive impression. However, we are disappointed to hear about your interactions with the staff at Amigos. The Amigos restaurant is leased out, and we will share your comments with the owner as well directly.

We're glad to hear that you enjoyed the beautiful beach just a minute away, and we hope that, despite the challenges, you were able to make the most of your time in the area.
