The O2 Beach Club & Spa has garnered praise for its spotless environment, with most guests commending the cleanliness of rooms and public areas, though a few have mentioned problems with towels. Its prime location near beaches and local attractions, along with a wide array of dining choices and amenities, contributes to the hotel's appeal, despite occasional service glitches. Guests are typically impressed by the warm and professional service and the modern, stylish rooms that offer stunning views, though some believe the atmosphere could be more vibrant and the decor updated. While opinions on value vary, the hotel's ability to deliver memorable experiences is a constant highlight.

Just returned from a 6 night stay in a concierge seafront one bedroom suite. The room had a separate bedroom, huge bathroom, kitchen area with full fridge/ freezer. The lounge had a beautiful sofa and a dining table with 6 chairs. Huge seafront balcony with full lounger and outside table and chairs.
Immaculately kept rooms. It wasn’t in the new block which I believe are very modern, the furniture was of the older dark wood variety but even so the suite was impressive.
I have to say that gorgeous as the hotel was in every respect it is the staff who make this, in my opinion, a 5* establishment.
I have stayed in many high end hotels but the staff at the O2 excelled. They are all so beautifully trained in their various positions. Every single staff member greets you warmly and literally cannot do enough to ensure your stay is perfect.
A special mention goes to Carolanne on the concierge desk, an absolute treasure! Also Anthony the beach bar attendant who kept us hydrated and comfortable every day.
Restaurant food is of a high standard and the tables are set with beautiful plates. It’s the little touches like serving Pelligrino sparkling water throughout the resort rather than a cheaper option that make all the difference. Large range of top shelf drinks available throughout, all if the bartenders are talented cocktail makers and will happily concoct a special, tailor made to your likes.
The sun loungers have the most amazing cushions, especially round the pool area. Even the beach loungers have proper cushions to lay on. The sun umbrellas are huge and set properly to give all day shade.
Insulated flasks of water and cups are delivered to you and replaced throughout the day.
There were plenty of sun loungers available all day. The hotel does not allow the most annoying habit of reserving loungers and then disappearing off for most of the day leaving them empty. They will remove any such towels. It is unnecessary in any event as there are so many loungers available.
We went on a half day trip around the island to see a bit of Barbados, arranged through the amazing Carolanne. It made for an interesting and thorough trip.
Unfortunately the new restaurant Oro had been held up in its opening but we had a Taste of Oro evening and the food was delicious, a restaurant to definitely try once it’s open.
We visited the sister hotel on two evenings to try the restaurants there and they also provided very nice meals. Will definitely be returning.

We stayed at the O2 for 10 nights in a seafront 2-bedroom concierge suite. It was interconnecting so our 16yr old daughter could have her privacy.

The view was sensational. The room was of an excellent quality.

The resort is smaller than some and tends to revolve around Elements which serves a first-class buffet breakfast, lunch and Alacarte dinner. The Staff were excellent with June running things like clockwork in the morning and friendly great staff like Thandeka providing superb service.
If its a more beachy type restaurant you want, then turn to Bluefin which also provides a waiter service out onto the beach where you can have food and drinks delivered to your sunbed by Georgina and co.

in the evening if you want Alacarte fine dining head to Oro which has great food and an amazing view over the coastline. All included in the price.
Or there is a tapas bar and restaurant with a rooftop pool which was excellent .

The beach is to die for and you can swim with the turtles that are everywhere. It's fringed by Palm trees. The sand is the palest yellow/ white with pink hints. The sea is usually the Blue colour we all want and is clear although there was some seaweed on the odd day or two.

As this is a quieter resort than some, daytimes activities sometimes went ahead if there were enough who wanted to take part. However, with the extra comfy padded sunbeds not everyone wanted to participate!

Dont forget to head to the spa. We had a hot stone massage. Again like Oro it has amazing views over the coastline.

We hired "The bubble" for a romantic private dining experience on the beach. You choose yr own menu, have a private waiter (I would recommend Paul, he really made it special), champagne, flowers.....a great night.
Thanks to Tamara for help and suggestions and a very special shout out to Carolanne on concierge. I couldn't have done it without you. It was perfect and believe me I'm fussy.

So the big question, is it worth it?

Yes is the answer. Its not cheap but the service is excellent, the staff very friendly, the new general Manager is a great guy, the beach is lovely and with a beachfront apartment or suite, its a great place to stay.

Thank you for your kind rating, Scott S! We're so happy your visit at O2 Beach Club and Spa went well. We are delighted to know that you had a 5-Star experience. The team here is thrilled to receive such a beautiful review. Your bubble tent experience popped out at me when you mentioned you were fussy. We are glad it was worth it and look forward to seeing you in the near future.

Just arrived back after a week here in paradise to celebrate a special anniversary.
Thanks to all the wonderful staff who made our holiday so special especially Christina, Dwayne and Dev and the excellent staff in restaurant Ora.
We are so pleased that we chose O2, it looks the best resort in this area
The location on its own beautiful beach is perfect
The facilities include 5 different eating areas, all great, 4 cocktail bars all with great brands, very generous
The room was all you needed, great shower everything worked plenty of space, top class toiletries and so clean
The gym and activities are all good and the nightly entertainment is great.
No problem getting sun beds, either round the pools or on the beach with ample towels on hand
The food choices are great
Elements is the main place, for breakfast, buffet lunch and A la carts dinner options with themed menus.
Ora is the fine dining option which you need to book, we went twice which was perfect all included in the price
Blue fin is a great option for lunch or afternoon snacks such as Burgers or Tacos or pizza
Oasis is the coffee bar which has snacks available
Brisa is the rooftop tapas and cocktail bar ~ very Ibiza!! This was great, small plates freshly cooked to order but you do need about 5 dishes each
Whilst we were there, the other guests were great and we had some good times.
I think it’s probably the best holiday we’ve had, ever!
We would definitely go back again, hopefully soon.

We have just returned from 14 nights at the Hotel and in my opinion this will never be a 5 star Hotel and at present is about a 3 star based on our stay.
We booked a Junior Seaview Suite and for the first 8 days never had a turndown or change of towels on the 9th day no towels in the room whatsoever had to get beach towels. It vastly improved after speaking to the Manager.

With the exception of Oro the restaurants are just acceptable some times on a buffet arrangement but be prepared to wait up to 1h 30m for your main course when it’s a meal served from a fixed menu.

There where lots of tales of woe from mirrors falling off walls and shattering onto the beds, suitcases lost for 5 hours of people stopping just one night
,A/C flooding Rooms, Hot water taking 10 mins to come warm. No pool towels, laundry lists with no costs Etc.

Most of the staff are good but lots need training as they look like they have never worked in a Hotel before.

The Manager is New and whilst he has most of the Ingredients to make this a very good 4 star Hotel there is a very long way to go. And they should get rid of the cheap looking armbands you have to wear it’s Barbados not Benidorm.

Thank you, Tony, for your constructive criticism. Although we always try to provide the very best service, food and overall experience, we are sorry if this was not your experience. We have noted all your comments and will work on the areas that need improving. We apologise that due to a large influx of luxury cruise passangers over a few days this put a strain on our team. We are surpised you mention the armbands as these replace the old fashioned key cards and are the latest technology which allows easy acces to your room which most people love. We thank you for staying with us and we wish you all the best.

From the moment you stop by the entrance of Ocean Two Resort, there's the first smile waiting for you to help with your bags and show you the way from there to the main reception. Checking in feels like a breeze while a complimentary chilled towel and a glass of bubbles kick in like a real vacation's start. Checking in starts at 3:00 pm, and it's only 1:30 pm, but that's not a problem. The friendly staff takes you to have lunch in one of their restaurants, Breeze while holding your luggage and preparing your room. At 3:00 pm sharp, somebody is waiting to take you to your room. It's a spacious one-bedroom apartment-style suite with a sofa bed for the kids and a full kitchen. The view from the balcony is breathtaking, and you can see the sea and the pool from there.
While planning this vacation, I remember emailing many times with all my questions, from activities for the kids to how much sargassum they get during this time of the year. The amazing Caroline from Guest Service happily answered every question within seconds each time. I had never felt more welcome in a hotel before. She approached us when we came down from our room, introduced herself, and asked if I was happy with everything. What a lovely woman! The 4 days and 3 nights went by too quickly for my taste, but we sure enjoyed the food, the music, the view… every detail in O2 has been perfectly thought out for you to have the ultimate experience as a guest. Each staff member doesn't hesitate to go the extra mile if they think that something will make you happy. Anthony at the coffee bar helped me with my tea requests and made sure I always had enough ice in my drinks. I remember a day we were the only ones at the beach, and a girl approached us to see if we wanted anything to drink-all the way to the water. For a moment, I thought we had forgotten something somewhere, but it was authentic caring and service. I remember saying we were fine, and she insisted maybe the kids would like a smoothy, which they did. The hotel is what they call a Boutique Hotel, which I believe made everything very personalized, and everybody remembered what you had the day before. Every experience was unique. The food was fantastic, the attention to detail, and drinks too! We will definitely go back very soon to O2 for more!

Magnificent resort with exceptional service. We enjoyed 9 nights of luxury, all inclusive eating with premium drinks thrown in, from 5 star gourmet Oro restaurant, to delicious tapas at Brisa. Staff at Elements restaurant were all brilliant, Shantelle standing out, and at the bar Renaldo shone with his amazing cocktails, even locating a fresh coconut for us to enjoy! This resort went over and beyond expectation on all fronts, from our pick up at the airport, to giving us Sean, a resort ambassador, checking that we were happy and willing to help make our stay special. The beach was clean, the sea warm, and turtles in abundance, and we swam with them every day. Staff made sure that you had all you needed from parasol, towels, drinks etc on the beach, and peace and tranquility was easy to find as the beach is quite secluded and large. Great DJ, mixing beats at the bar which kept us all chilled and relaxed, to excellent live entertainment in the evenings. All staff were polite and couldn’t do enough to make your stay a great experience. Couldn’t fault this resort in any way. Just can’t wait to return !!

After much deliberation, we chose the O2 hotel for our honeymoon. Whilst we considered other hotels, O2 appeared modern and luxurious and offered a full all inclusive package.

We were not disappointed, our room was fantastic, clean, well furnished, quiet with a great balcony and sea view. The beds are huge and very comfortable with daily and evening turndowns and the mini-bar restocked daily.

The restaurants be it breakfast, lunch or dinner were excellent and whilst some people have noted 'slower service' we did not experience this at all. Oro on the 9th floor is also well worth booking in advance and do great Steak and Lobster Tail options.

The staff were excellent. Nothing was too much trouble and the bar staff in the beach bar deserve a special mention for going above and beyond.

We also visited the sister hotel, Sea Breeze who offer a range of water sports and a great beach front location with a different vibe to O2.

I cannot explain how relaxing we found the hotel and if we did want night life, the property is really well location on St Lawrence Gap which has a range of bars and restaurants and a lively night life.

In the words of Arnie, 'We Will Be Back!!'

We only stayed 3 nights, so time was short to explore.

We arrived at hotel and I have to say check in was very chaotic and no real control, we were a small bus and arrived early so had to wait for rooms until 1 pm. That’s ok, but even when we returned the checking in seemed very unorganised. Then we were given the dreaded “b” rooms, which have a partial see view (through the neighbourhood various states of repair), there was no bed sheet, the floor was filthy, when I went to shower after walking around bear foot, my feet were full of dust, the surfaces were dusty, the doors wouldn’t shut properly, which meant that the wind howled through the doors (even after maintenance fixed them) and the cockerels ruined any chance of an afternoon snooze (supplemented by the local beat boxing car tour around 11pm). Oh and we had a dove nesting in our outside light! We tolerated overnight and complained the next day. I have to say we were upgraded to a much better room by 1pm. Totally different proper sea view.

Once room was sorted, I have to say it’s a lovely hotel and location right on beach, although beach nearby seems safer. The food was good, but buffet was variable, by the time you get some of the food back to your table and start eating it, it was cold, including vegetables.

The biggest problem is the service, which was variable from perfect to rudeness! When your sat at the tapas table awaiting food and the servers are stood talking to each other and showing stuff on their phones to each other for at least 20 minutes with only 2 tables to serve, that’s unacceptable.

I joined the morning walk around town, which was useful and provided some ideas of nice places to try out.

All I would say to anyone, if you are thinking of booking, be wary of what room your given and make sure your rooms are front facing full sea view. Also light can be a problem in rooms as the curtains don’t cover fully or suns too powerful so if you need complete darkness to sleep, this hotel is not for you.

Fantastic holiday from start to finish, my wife treated me to the trip as a surprise 40th Birthday present and the staff at the O2 helped make our stay a fantastic memory.

The location of the hotel is unreal due to the fact you can swim with turtles right off the beach, which is a great experience.

However, what makes the hotel and your stay is the people that work there. John who welcomed us set the tone for the rest of the stay, with his warm and friendly manor. Devon and Che are great and can not thank them both enough for helping make us have a great stay. Yvonne offers first class service and Ashley makes the best Rum Sours.

Our room was spacious and clean, I would recommend getting a sea view, although extra the view is worth it and gives you the chance to watch the sun rise and set in a great location.

The food is plentiful and offers great variety across the different restaurants on offer, would recommend booking into Ora early. Wide selection of drinks on offer.
Location is close to St Lawrence, which is nice to walk around, plenty of bars if you want to wonder outside of the hotel in the evening, which could be a good option if you want entertainment in later hours as the live music and singers the hotel puts on would often finish early.

The gym has good selection of dumbbells with weights going up 32kg, machine weights to work on back, shoulders, legs and chest, few cross trainers – downside treadmill’s belt kept sticking so I couldn’t use it.

Highly recommend hotel to relax, unwind and enjoy yourself in paradise.

We have been to old Oceans 2 hotel several times and was excited to experience the new rebranded O2 resort that is now all inclusive and has a significant new development block that features a fine dining restaurant and a new spar complex.

There are many outstanding points to the resort, these include really welcoming and friendly staff in all departments, first class rooms with several options, a very nice fine dining restaurant and a great spar. The location is also great for daytime beach walks and evening strolls to local bars.

However the biggest disappointment was the service at the main Elements restaurant and the food quality for the evening dinner. This in particular is not up to a 5 star resort as it is banded. Yes there is the fine dining restaurant but going there every night was not attractive nor likely possible as you needed to book in advance. The evening ambiance was also poor. There was live local music every night but served only as background music for Elements restaurant. There is no focal point for people to sit , enjoy a drink and the live music after dinner. The result is the resort is like a morgue in the evenings. I hope it addresses these issues as it spoils what could be a magnificent resort.

Hi Brian M, We offer all kitchen amenities, cots, high chairs, detergent and bath tubs. We can even arrange baby sitting for you at a small fee. We currently have a baby in-house and the parents are extremely satisfied and enjoying their vacation with their 5 month old as we speak. I hope this helps and brings clarity to you. It is a bit rough at times. However, it is nice for snorkeling with the turtles. You can also go to our sister property at Sea Breeze which is only a 10 min drive away and swim at the beach there. Transportation would be complimentary based on your reservation and availability at Sea Breeze.
