We took family to Lakeview for supper and were very pleased with the food. Service and everything was excellent.

Always stop in for dinner when the opportunity presents. Food is always excellent, wish I could find a Chinese restaurant like this in Winnipeg.

I don't think I've had a bad meal here yet, other than a batch of Deluxe Wonton soup that was pretty bland. Their Honey Lemon Chicken is really good! Portions are pretty big, and service is pretty much just take your order, deliver your food to your table and leave you alone until you pay.

This is a regular weekly stop for us. You'd be hard-pressed to find better Chinese food. Excellent food, excellent service.

Food tasted like it came out of ready made chinese food. No real flavor. The restaurant is clean and helping are decent. They need to put some effort into making homemade meals. .Staff are friendly

Great food and good portions. Would eat there again. Seemed pretty popular amongst the locals. Only complaint they only give you a can of soda pop to drink with your meal. Not a sufficient quantity for me. Our meal also came extremely quick and quite hot, which was great in my opinion!

The food was quite tasty. As for the service, it was almost non-existent. There was a group of 15 there for lunch on a week day and no-one else was in the restaurant. The waitress couldn't even get how many wanted a glass of water and how many wanted coffee. When the coffee finally arrived, we had to ask for sugar. When she brought the sugar, she tossed it on the table along with the Splenda. There were 4 packages of sugar. When the food arrived, it was tasty and plentiful. No one returned to see if everything was ok. There were no offers of more coffee. One of the members of the group got up and poured it for us. Not too encouraging to return.

Portions are large and food is good. Staff are very friendly, a family run business. The restaurant could use some renovations but that's minor. Prices are reasonable.

Being going to this restaurant since it opened in Lac du Bonnet, MB and the food is always consistently good in flavourful, presentation, hot when it comes to the table and more than you can usually eat, guaranteed leftovers.The leftovers are just as if they came to the table in the restaurant.The employees are always friendly and even remember us. I would not hesitate to tell anyone to eat at this restaurant,and I have!

The food is always consistently tasty and good-sized portions. For two of us, we usually order two combination plates - the honey lemon plate and the sweet and sour shrimp. Each plate includes a good variety of fried rice, mixed vegetables and an egg roll. The staff are friendly and accommodating.

Really enjoyed the food did take out Chinese. Great staff. It was very tasty. Made a change to the prep of one of the dishes no problem done the way I like it.

It's Lac du Bonnet, Manitoba. . . The Chinese at the the Lakeview is, and this is coming from someone who lives in Vancouver, not that bad. I'm one of those smelly contractors though. ;) Seriously, it's hit or miss, but the Shanghai noodles are actually quite good and the wonton soup is quite welcome on a cold night. If you're passing through town give it a try!
