Really enjoyed it- great pintxos& lovely wine. Great service. Recommend it. We’re here for one night only so we were very lucky to come across it- totally by accident. Deserves its place in the Michelin guide 2023 - only noticed their plaque when we were leaving!

Next to Bar Gaucho and equally as good. The staff seem a little less overworked than at Bar Gaucho so I think I prefer Guria for a drink and excellent pintxos. Both bars get busy, especially later in the week.

We could hardly move from the crowd. And not surprising as they have some of the most interesting choices of pintxos, and the ones we tasted were so good! You have to be ready for a wait on service though - when we were there they ran out of clean glasses. But you could not be upset because they were handing out the food with a smile despite the chaos.

Happened on Guria Bar on a Sunday evening and delighted with this modern well presented experience. Really tasty pintxos - we were tired from journey and great to see lots of tasty food displayed- so point and pick and all excellent Gentleman behind bar really helpful so we enjoy a few more tintos than originally planned.

A modern pintos bar with modern pintos. The stuff at the counter is interesting but the better pintos are ordered off the made to order menu on the large chalk board - modern interpretation of various dishes made in pintxos size. Well worth a visit in your pintxos crawl.

This is one of the select few pintxos bars that make it into the Michelin recommended places to eat , it is very appealing from the outside with 3 tables outside and 3 inside , the bar area is standing only . The inside design is very modern but a little cold feeling and we did not find the food on offer particularly creative or much different from so many other but very good all the same.

It's a small but modern pintxos bar (typical Basque country tapas -style titbits) with some excellent and reasonably priced wines. We stumbled upon this place by accident but the pintxos looked so good that we had to try some. We were really glad we did - a lovely experience despite not really knowing what most pintxos were and the bartender's complete lack of English (but he did somehow manage to relay what most of them were made of!).

This is a busy part of town at night and, even in the mid-January freeze, the crowd from Bar Guria spilled out into the street. Whole families, too: this is a popular place. The range of pintxos is large and very delicious; we tried erizo (baked sea urchin) and are complete converts, and txalupa, a cured sardine with onion bread which has apparently won awards. Both great. Great range of wines, great bar staff who were able to explain what the dishes were and definitely somewhere to return to on another 'pintxos crawl'. Incidentally, the place next door is highly rated but the queue at the bar was 3-deep and to be honest the pintos looked better in Bar Guria...

We were a group of 6 adults and 4 children who arrived at around 1230 on a week day in August. We originally intended to go to Bar Gaucho next door, which is highly recommended on this site, but were out off by the unwelcoming staff and looked for alternatives. With hungry children in tow Bar Guria was an easy option but we were not disappointed. The bar man was very helpful, fully explained what was available and discussed recommendations for wine. Service was excellent and we all ate very well; the total bill, which included 3 bottles of wine, was 80Euros! The children ate the mini wagyu beef burger which was superb. The adults sampled a variety of foods and there was something to please everyone, even the fussy eaters amongst us. Some of the sea food dishes were exceptionally tasty and well presented. Each time we ordered more the staff were very helpful and pleased to assist us. It is not overly family friendly in that the tables are all higher level with bar chairs however, the youngest child with us was 2 and he sat at the table perfectly happily. We all thoroughly enjoyed our experience of Bar Guria and I would thoroughly recommend it for the variety and quality of the food, the friendly and helpful bar staff and the great selection of wine.

In a busy street, but a very nice atmosphere and tasty pintxos. The staff was not unfriendly but OK. Different sorts of pintxos and raciones. A bit expensive but worth it. We had very good food for sure :)
