As good if not better than all the reviews. A fantastic experience for us. Two great people behind the bar (Borja(?) and a lovely lady) - they couldn't have been nicer. And two lovely smiling women through the tiny hatch working their magic with the food. And the food was really superb. Well done to the team!

Eat there!!!!!! It’s amazing 😍 Fish quality is gorgeous and the order system is easy —> order at the bar and they announce your food as it is ready. The perfect place to eat, if you’re only one night in Pamplona (or 2, or 3,... 😜) 💚

Both my partner and I ate at this lovely little place last night and we loved it. The food was delicious and great value for money and the service was really lovely to thanks to Silvia and the chef. It's a cute little place and is situated right under hotel Europa where we were staying. We arrived quite late so we couldn't get everything we wanted but what we had was delicious and the chef let us have dessert even though it was late. The tiramisu ice cream was to die for as was the cheesecake. We had the steak Tatar which was incredible and the tuna was ( devine ) the little duck parcels were absolutely delicious as was the oxtail in pasta and the chicken noodle dish was so tasty. The wines were also delicious and not over priced. So nice to see you can still get value for money excellent food excellent prices. Will definitely come again and definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Pamplona. Jane and Juan

Great wine and beer, lovely and tasty small unique bites at a great price. Right off the main plaza near the larger pricey tourist restaurants I will choose this gem again today. Everything we tried was good.

Great food great service

During a one night stopover in Pamplona, two of us visited Bar Monasterio. Both of us had the wagyu beef mini burger, my husband had the teriyaki duck and I ordered a portion of patatas bravas to share. All was delicious. My burger could have been cooked a little more but that’s purely personal taste and it was delicious none the less. The young man behind the bar was very friendly and helpful. We had two glasses of Verdejo to wash everything down. Bar Monasterio is absolutely worth a visit for anyone venturing to Pamplona, great food and service.

The BEST food in Spain

Ate here both of our two nights in Pamplona!!!! Simply the best tapas I have ever had. Don't miss the Rabo de Toro (similar to croquetta but is beef filled instead of cheese), Taco de Chuleta con pimientos deal jucal (small tender delicious steak with peppers and lettuce on the side), shrimp fried in Panko (sorry I don't know the Spanish name), and the fried calamari. Great place. When we return to Spain, this restaurant is worth the trip. Bar tender was the nicest ever and was so patient with explaining in English. I don't remember his name but he even gave us a hug when we left after the second dinner. Go here and you won't regret it.

Pamplona 8 July six and a half afternoon. We ask if they can serve us in glass, they say yes and they serve us three gin and tonics. When we're paying, a fourth friend arrives and we order one more gin and tonic. The waiter starts putting it in a plastic cup and we say please in a glass cup, as above. He answers that it can not be, because from 5 in the afternoon they only serve in plastic, and we tell them but if you have just served us 3 ¡¡¡ in this comes his partner furious and in a crying voice tells us that if we are not happy we go elsewhere. We understand that they are Sanfermines and that they are tired, but the shapes are always important and if two minutes ago they could serve us in glass, because the fourth gin and tonic, no? Very good large burger, service and location. We didn't like the microwave to heat the dishes, the bland potatoes. It's expensive, 2 tapas, some bravas, a hamburger and 2 beers for 37 euros.
