Pros: I liked this location next to Sagrada Familia, I ordered seafood paella with tea and was talked into a dessert after Saturday night mass inside Sagrada Familia. Service was great, but the restaurant was still nearly empty at 9:15pm (early in Spain), so I wouldn't read into that too much. Food was solid and filling.
Cons: I'm sure you can find a better seafood paella in Barcelona, price was average. I was certainly satisfied - but nothing to ride home about.
Conclusion: 3/5. Would suggest if you're in the area looking for a reliable place. If you have time, though, don't feel tied down to just this restaurant! Many restaurants also serve tasty meals.

We stumbled upon this restaurant near Sagrada Familia, offering a fixed lunch menu. This was a good choice, as the food was plentiful and pretty good!
The starter was amazing: pasta with tomatoes and basil, which was super warm and just what I needed at the moment. The main dish was a solid grilled pork and grilled potato. I wasn't too crazy about the desert - blueberry cheesecake which was pretty spongy and not at all like the usual cheesecake.
Overall, this is a really nice place. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food. The service was excellent.

We ordered Black Rice and Mixed Paella which is highly recommended by a friend; we were not disappointed that we did because the food are so delicious, 2 orders will be okay for 3 persons. We also ordered fried squid as starter and it is so good. one order is good for 3 persons...❤❤❤

We have visited this restaurant on every New Year's Day for over 12 years. Never brilliant but good with arroz caldoso a favourite. This year was a disaster! We were booked for 1400 and two hours later our food had still not arrived! Remonstrations with management and staff were met with indifference although at one point we received free bottles of cava! The food when it came was nothing special and for one person inedible. Needless to say we will not be back to this place which I feel has been overrun by tourism and its proximity to Sagrada Familia - expensive rubbishh!

We ordered a mixed grill and my partner ate the lamb and pork first however when he came to the chicken it was raw and they still expected us to pay for it. Awful experience do not recommend. They were also very rude and abrupt when questioned on it and took €3 off a €26 dish.

Try their Black Rice and Mixed Paella because they are very delicious and satisfying. They have lots of choices for their tapas, we tried their fried squid and it was so good. You will not regret going to els proxos when you are in barcelona...Moi Bien...❤️

Els Porxos is a good choice for anyone looking for a nice sit-down dining experience after marveling at the otherworldly Sagrada Familia.
Of particular note is their appetizer, Virutas De Jamon Iberico. This one is really good! It is served with toasted bread with tomatoes, and the combination is just perfect - with the sweetness of the tomatoes balancing the saltiness of the Iberico Ham.
And, to complete the dining experience, several servers were also Filipino - and they gave us a nice taste of home with their unwavering hospitality. 🇵🇭🙂

Look elsewhere. Has nice
Ambience but service and quality are lacking. Server did not speak fluent Spanish or English and we received the incorrect order after we even thought that we confirmed the order a 2nd time. Vegetables with the order were way over cooked to the point of being mushy. Salmon was cooked OK but had no flavor. We ordered bread with olive oil and vinaigrette but the server did not bring anything to pour the oil and vinaigrette into.

We stopped for a late lunch next to the Sagrada Familia and ordered a fish and mixed fish and meat paella. The waiter was very friendly and said that it could take 25 minutes as the paella was made fresh. We loved the paella and we will come back next time.

We set out to find a recommend restaurant in the area very close to the Sagrada Familia. We found the place to be disappointing and we came upon “Els Porxos”. This restaurant offered an varied menu, meats, fish salads and desserts.
My ‘sopa del pescador’ was excellent, a lovely seafood broth with a good assortment of fish, clams, mussels. Not too heavy on the seafood; but great for me because I’m a light eater. Other dishes served were the grilled salmon, a huge piece of salmon served over tender mixed vegetables.
The best experience was the server, Alexis, very helpful and informative about the menu. He made the best suggestions for what we were craving.

Very good place! The paella is very good and the staff ready to help! Winston in particular was incredibly nice! I talked to him about my sea food allergies and he immediately said he would bring me a chicken and vegetables paella, which I ended up loving! He’s very friendly! This restaurant is across the Sagrada Família so you can have a bite with a view for a good price!

I had a seafood paella, it was not the best but still enough good. But it’s really hard to find a restaurant where you can order paella only for one person because most of the restaurants accept order only from two.
Service was really fast and sufficient and the staffs were very respectful even though I was a solo customer.
Overall, I’m very satisfied with my choice to come to this place, and had a good time.

It was pouring rain when we got out of visiting the Sagrada Familia and needed to grab lunch and shelter. We did not expect much from a restaurant located so close to a tourist destination but were pleasantly surprised. Winston our server greeted us warmly and gave us great service. He was good at setting expectations for the time required to cook the dishes we ordered and the food was very good and tasty. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

It was a wonderful experience after the Gaudi tour! It was very relaxing, the place has a nice vibe! Renier was very helpful, he took time to explain the menu and recommended what was good. The food was excellent! We really liked it! Our family of 9 had a great time!

Visited Basilica De LA Sagrada Familia today and were hungry and tired, so we checked trip advisor and found this restaurant. There were six of us. We ordered onion rings for an appetizer (not on the menu), they were excellent. Each of us ordered a different entree, mushroom ravioli, seafood cannoli, grilled chicken, hamburger, etc. Everyone said their meal was well prepared and excellent. Service was friendly and helpful. If visiting in the area we would recommend.
