My review is quite simple. When I first tried their dishes which were served with so much care and attentiveness, my mum has asked me. “David, what do you think of the food there? Is it better than mine?” I had to think about what to answer because I haven`t felt any differences between a dish prepared by my mother at home and a meal prepared by Hungaryto. Excellent service & food. Taste of home!

I was in need to find something Hungarian for 250persons(for a company event) I have bought several things before there, like fish, bejgli(Christmas desert) , which btw was delicious, so I knew the place :)
I called Zsolt, the owner, he offered me to bake pogàcsa-salty handmade Hungarian pastry for take away.
He went in a Sunday night to bake all those delicious pogacsa for hours, so he could gave me warm and fresh food, when I picked up on Monday 8am.
He made more than 250 pieces,and hasnt surcharged for the extras.the bill was ready by the time I arrived, he helped me with the boxes.
The 250+ pogàcsa were eaten up very quickly, though most of the people ate it first time in their life.
Excellent, kind, quick and very friendly service with a great price!
I can't recommend it enough, not just the restaurant and the shop, but if you need any catering service.

I highly recommend visiting this great restaurant in order to discover the specility of the Hungarian foods. We ate gulyás and rakott krumpli which were better than in Hungary. The owner of the restaurant is very kind, friendly and really helpful. Thank you for the great lunch:)

My fiancé and I were visiting Barcelona for a weekend and we stayed on the same block as Hungaryto. Because of its great reviews online, we were really excited to try it. We were blown away by the experience and both agree that it was one of our favorite restaurant experiences together! The restaurant is owned by a very kind and precious Hungarian couple. The decor is cozy and authentic and the food even more so. We shared the pickled vegetables starter and a langos, my fiancé got the beef goulash, and I got the RAKOTT KRUMPLI. I had never had Hungarian food and now it is something I'll be craving. We were like little kids, squealing with happiness while eating each bite. I wish we lived in Barcelona so that we could eat here frequently! What a treasure, thank you!!

We had a great meal in Hungaryto. I would recommend visiting if looking for an authentic Hungarian culinary experience. There is lángos and 2 types of goulash on the menu. My family fully enjoyed all we had. My favourite was the "bean goulash". Easy 5 stars!!

When you're looking for some tasty Hungarian food, you shouldn't miss this place in BCN.
Excellent treatment, authentic Hungarian food and good humor.
It's been the 2nd time in Barcelona for us and we visited them again. For us no vacation exist here without a dinner at Hungaryto.
Take your time to spend your dinner here. You won't be disappointed.

Foods are so delicious, like in Hungary's best restaurants. The service is very good, they are kind. Highly recommended for everybody! :)

Owned by lovely Spanish/Hungarian couple you'll get a a piece of Hungary in Barcelona. Best langosh I've ever had (and I've been to quite a few towns in Hungary). Pork goulash just spot-on. Very friendly place, romantic atmosphere and delicious food. You definitely need to come and try yourself!

What I loved the most is he’s fine talent creating that perfect play of textures combining crunch on the outside and beautifully tender in the inside. We tried pogácsás, the lángos and gulyás. The world of tastes was so rich...
And when Zsolt mentioned that he has been alone doing all the work in the kitchen for the past 10 years, I was totally stoked ❤️

I spent a month in Catalonia and wanted thank my hosts with some nice wine or food from Hungary. This was the best place to go. Zsolt was very welcoming and helpful. The shop is full of Hungarian treasures. Next time I'll try out the kitchen as well. :)

I went to the restaurant with a group of friends. The service is friendly, the flavors are special. Lourdes and Zsolt are the best hosts. I recommend to everyone!

I highly recommend visiting this place if you are curious about the traditional Hungarian cuisine. Everything we tried was delicious and high quality. I took my friends to try pálinka, lángos, gulyás, bejgli, and unicum these are the must try, and of course some good vine too. Every one of my friends enjoyed this experience and loved the food. It was a great night overall.

We had lecsó and rakott krumpli, it was even better than the homemade one. I always thought it is best to travel to the given country to try its cuisine, but Hungaryto will give you the experience you would hardly find even in Budapest.
