This small friendly Mexican cafe is a good stop for lunch after a visit to the wonderful temple. Unlike most places near this famous landmark, its not tourist prices, but good value, well prepared food with good variety. Thoroughly recommended!

Great food and great service, Coming from Texas, really enjoyed having some tacos. The waiter we had was so nice and patient. They brought out some hot sauce since they knew we would really enjoy it. I highly recommend this place.

I love love love this restaurant! Best tacos in the city hands down, and in fact are some of the best tacos I’ve had ever (coming from California). I’m ~37 weeks pregnant and have only been wanting to eat tacos la pirata! 😋
The service is always super friendly. If you’re daring enough I highly recommend their spiciest sauce, I forget the name but it’s a dark brown, chili based salsa (they don’t always give it to you automatically so you will have to ask).
I will say it can get crowded around dinner time, so if you plan to come with a group I would recommend reserving in advanced over the phone.

I have asked for a plate and it was basically empty, there was little meat on it.
I complained to the waiter and he said that this is the portion they give. Overall, my experience is really bad.
You also have the pressure to eat fast so that you leave available for another customer

very disappointed given the reviews thus expectations. we shared the nachos, and our 4 entrees were guacamole, tacos el pastor, soup and arrachera tacos. all 5 dishes were tiny and flavorless and with 3 drinks came to 64 euros which was ridiculous. we knew this was an expensive restaurant but really t/a?? you said the food was worth it. yuck

This place was absolutely terrible. They continued on getting our food wrong. They gave us a QR code to scan and then once we had all ordered they had said that we need to re scan a new QR code as the table next to us will receive all our food and drinks. The women had read us the order 4 times making sure it was correct. The food was bland and tasteless. The chicken looked uncooked and brown. They didn’t bring food out and then expected us to pay the full amount on the bill. Charged us for sitting outside (no mention of this) charged us for ordering online but took our order in person.

We were super impressed by the food and cocktails at La Taqueria. We especially recommend the beef "pirate" tacos (can't remember the exact name) as they tasted amazing. We also had guava margaritas which were lovely. Decent price and the restaurant had cool decor and the staff were nice.
It's only a few mins from Sagrada Familia and would highly recommend!

A great selection but not too overwhelming. For three of us choosing one dish each and then sharing was more than enough for us. If anything maybe just a little too much the cocktails were fab and everything was reasonably priced.
We had two margaritas Jamica and one Paloma
We had the Pirate Tacos, Chicken Tacos and Shrimp - our favourite were the Pirate Tacos but eveything was yummy and their hot sauce was to die for!
When we go back we will defintiley visit again.

This is the best Mexican food, with a Spanish flair, I have had. Everything was fresh and very well flavored. I would eat here 3 times a week if I lived here. We tried the chilaquiles and four different tacos. Our party of four was in agreement that everything was delicious.

Stopped here for lunch today.
Located just across from The Saguarda familia.
Great service with smiling friendly staff!
The food was excellent!!!
You Must order the nachos! So many different flavours on one plate. We added chicken to them as well.
Followed by Tinga Tanga, which was 4 black tortillas with spiced shredded chicken, avocado, onion and fresh cheese.
Hubby had a charro negro cocktail and I had a mango juice. Both were very good.
I would definitely recommend eating here, it really is a great find of authentic Mexican Food.

Brilliant little taco place. Great tasting food and the staff is happy and friendly. I would definitely recommend anyone who loves real Mexican quesadillas, tacos and such to give this little place a try.

They offer Mexican Street food, in a colourful restaurant format. Location is superb, just next to Sagrada familia. The food was all very good, with the ‘sopa azteca’, the ‘Quesadillas Taquero’ and ‘ flor de calabaza’ and the ‘pastel Elote’. We enjoyed the good with a Margarita, very convenient. Service was very friendly, and the price quality relationship was fair.

Great little restaurant near to the Sagrada Familia.
Cute inside and super colourful.
Friendly service, great food, cheap beer, all in central Barcelona.
No need to go to fancier districts when you have simple but tasty eateries like this!

This place is great! Like other taquerias i tried this place is also small, we had to wait because it was full. The menu is funny if your Mexican because there are good title names. The Tamarindo Margarita is a GAMECHANGER! The bombest ever! Must try! Loved it. The tacos de Lengua were second to none good! It is a bit grease but bomb!

My wife and I had great tacos here. Authentic Mexican food with Mexican drinks like authentic beers. Atmosfere was cool and staff was really pleasant. I would deff go again at this place.
