The scent quickly lead me to the entrance. Being at an all inclusive resort my expectations weren’t too high. However, my first impression quickly set a much higher bar. Really cool yet comfortable ambiance full of really good energy. The menu was vast and caused difficulties in making a decision. The employees starting at the host all the way to the manager were attentive with attention to detail and extremely pleasant. I believe our server was named Edgar and he went above and beyond to make our dinner nothing short of perfect.
Everything thing we ordered was robust and the perfect blend of ingredients. Portion sizes were perfect allowing us to sample a few of our narrowed down selections. The ingredients were fresh and plated with detail.
I just went back this evening again and will probably visit each day I’m here.

KiNoKo recently opened in the royal Haciendas resort and has taken guests to a new level of eating experiences! One can order from the menu or sit at the Teppenyaki Tables and watch a wonderful show of chef magic! Plenty to eat regardless of what you order. I only ate there twice this year but plan to return next year to try more from the menu. I had the Ginger-Garlic chicken and it was superb! Drinks are often made to complement the dish, but one can order anything one wishes. A new dining experience fo sure and very pleasurable! Worth a visit or more!

We celebrated my birthday with dinner at Kinoko teppanyaki. From the moment we walked in to have our temperature taken and our hands sanitized, I was taken with this place. Erick, our waiter, was extremely professional, explaining the process, making sure to note food allergies and preferences and offering drink specials. When a couple of us rolled a chopstick from the table right onto the floor, Erick immediately replaced the set with just the right amount of humor but zero condescension regarding our poor chopstick handling skills. Israel gave a great show with skill and humor, making each person at the table feel special. Everything was beautifully plated and presented with seamless efficiency. The staff brought a special plate for dessert and sang a birthday song to top it all off. Kudos on a job well done!

Located at The Royal Haciendas resort, Kinoko offers a casually elegant dining experience. While they have a full menu and table service, our group had reservations for the Teppanyaki table. Our chef was fun and witty, although the plastic shield in place for health safety, vent sound, mask and accent did make it difficult to hear/understand - and due to the shield, unfortunately no flying food!
All of the starters were good, but the Thai soup was especially delicious! As one of my dining companions stated, "I've never met a fried rice I didn't like!" One improvement they could make is to add one or two interesting sauces for the protein and veggie portion of the meal. We only had soy sauce - a hot mustard or something would have added to the experience and flavor.
If we are back at The Royal Haciendas, we will definitely enjoy a meal or two at Kinoko!

We were excited that the new Asian restaurant, Kinoko, was open during our recent trip. We ate there twice and had great meals both times! The lobster special, a delicious stir fry, was both excellent and reasonably priced. My wife enjoyed her salmon on our second visit, and my Beef and Broccoli with Oyster Sauce was great. We had their Yakemishi Rice on both visits - delicious! Roger, our waiter on both evenings was polite, professional, and engaging. He made good recommendations, and his service was impeccable. He should be commended!!

This was our first time at the Royal Haciendas resort - but we have had family there before they highly recommended Kinoko for dinner, especially the Teppanyaki grill dinner.
It did not disappoint! Our chef Israel was fantastic! Our server - I don't remember his name unfortunately - was also excellent. The food was delicious...extremely tasty and cooked to perfection

The food is delicious. We did both the hibachi and the regular seated restaurant. Christhin was so fun and cooked delicious food at the hibachi. All of the waitstaff is friendly and knows the menu well to help you order the perfect food. There beef and oyster sauce is amazing. And we tried so much delicious sushi!

We absolutely loved Kinoko. The food was absolutely stunning and will make you want to try everything on the menu. The best entrees were the Beef and Oyster Sauce and the Orange Salmon (they can also make GF the even though it was not noted on the menu). The bao buns, sashimi and spicy tuna were the best starters if you are feeling adventurous, which you should be here or you are missing out. I had everything on this menu and I LOVED everything (the Pad Thai was the most marginal thing on the menu).
The best part of the restaurant besides the food was the staff. From the moment you walk in you are greeted by Susana, a hostess with a warm smile and a welcoming attitude! She will get you seated and that’s when you are greeted by your waiter. Ricardo, Oliver and, Roman have a special way to make feel like you are lifelong friends! They know the menu well and can accommodate you and your party’s needs (they made multiple dishes GF that were not noted on the menu). We loved the entire staff. Lenin was also fantastic and will be on top of your table and make sure you have everything you need… including trainer chop sticks!
We loved Kinoko, the food and staff! We are excited to come back and see our amigos!

Amazing Japanese Teppanyaki show!! Chef Cristhian put on a spectacular performance juggling, joking and cooking our group a wonderful dinner. From appetizers, soup, main course ending with dessert, included.Everything was prepared and presented in a top shelf five star way. When you are staying at the Royal Haciendas please make reservations ahead of time so you don’t miss this memorable meal and show.

We enjoyed both the hibachi presentation with Isrrrreal and the off the menu dining. Appetizers and plate presentation were superb. Service was almost always great (we were there 5 times). As a new restaurant, they may want to work on some options to make the restaurant less noisy, more peaceful, but for a place that just opened, we were very enthused.

Kinoko is a nice addition to the restaurants at the Royal Haciendas. It was great to be able to get a Hibachi dinner, or you can order off the menu. My meals were very good and enjoyable. You definitely need to make reservations as soon as you arrive.

Excellent menu items and sushi. However, cocktails tasted watered down. We enjoyed the Hibachi grill on one of our evenings, the chef was very entertaining and the food was good, they need to be careful not to overcook the meat/seafood. Overall, fun experience.
We ate from the menu another evening and it was Excellent. still not happy with the cocktails. Bartender may just need more training. Overall good experience. Waitstaff is very good.

I just wanted to say how great our experience was. Oliver was our server and provided us outstanding service. Never let the drinks run dry and always took care of whatever needs we had. Javier was our chef and provided us a 5 star show. Our 4 year old loved it so much, Javier was so fun for our family and the food he cooked was an easy 5 star meal. He sang, made us laugh. It was simply fantastic. I would definitely recommend this place. I could not say one negative thing about this place.

Very delicious and a lot of food. If you do the show it's a set menu - appetizers (spring roll, sushi roll, shrimp dumpling), soup, vegetable fried rice, and your choice of meats (flank steak, chicken, salmon, and shrimp) with a dessert of matcha tea opera and ginger ice cream.
Christhian was our chef and was energetic and friendly. He had everybody laughing and also in awe of his flipping/chopping skills

Our favorite restaurant at the Royal Haciendas! We find ourselves eating there most nights on our vacation, and are always able to find a different selection each night. Always so delicious! Our favorite waiter is also at Kinoko, Jeremias. We ask to sit in his area because he is just personable, attentive, and kind. Be sure to ask for him!
