We are a family oriented RV Park located just 30 minutes west of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Our park offers fully serviced sites in a quiet natural setting overlooking Spring Lake.
The wifi is non existent and not free. If you need access to wifi don’t stay here. If you want to get away from all of that it’s a great place. Nice large sites, well kept & clean. It’s a family friendly resort with a lovely lake. Bring your canoe or other water toys.

First timers and we will be back for sure. When you book you just book a spot. It’s a little different way as you don’t know what site you get till you come. We got so lucky with our spot. We are very close to the lake. It’s a spring feed lake so it’s clean and great to swim In. The campground is very clean and sites are nicely spread out. Some sites don’t have many trees so you might not get lucky that way. Overall this is a must place to camp in.

My husband and I just wanted to escape the city for one night so we didn't want to drive too far. It was only a 40 minute drive from our house. We called to reserve a site and were quoted about $53 for a Lakeview site with power and water. We thought it was a bit pricey but thought let's go ahead and check it out. Once I agreed to go ahead with the reservation I was told it would be $70 (and some cents). When I asked how did the price change within the space of less than one minute, I was told two dollars extra for the dog (understandable) and a $10 reservation fee. I was surprised but my husband said let's just go ahead because according to their website it sounded like a really nice place. Then the staff member advised me that because I made the reservation less than seven days in advance, I would not be given a refund if I were to cancel. I agreed to this and the next day we went to the resort. We were greeted by friendly staff and escorted to our site. All in all the resort was very clean and beautiful. I thought it was overpriced and the $10 reservation fee is a bit ridiculous. That should've been included in the quoted price. Most places have a 48 hour cancellation policy, not a ridiculous seven days. The store did not have much to pick from and the soft ice cream was also overpriced. Sorry, we won't be back.

The owner is very rude when asking for any changes or refunds. The female owner will not refund your money when you book over a long weekend. It took 3 attempts to get a refund. Had to drive in in person Twice to front them to get s refund.
They say that the computer picks where you stay but it's like this: If you kiss their rears they will put you where ever you want But if you address that if your paying over $70/ night and end up in bushes then you are their enemy and any one from your family CAN'T COME BACK EVER TO THEM.
SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ELSE WHERE THEY ARE VERY RUDE AND UN PROFESSIONAL.

Pros ...This is a great location for anything you need to do in the city of Edmonton. I I I I stayed here for three nights on the opening weekend for Springlake.
The staff here are very friendly and they even escort every RV to your site and spot for parking.
The lake is nice with a very large sandy beach. Although I didn't fish here there were lots of people fishing.
I had a full hook up site for $59 a night. The sites were very large compared to newer RV parks. there are mature trees around most of the sites.
The park is dog friendly with some breed restrictions.
The washrooms are large and were always clean. I didn't need the laundry facilities so I have no idea what it's like.
Cons... The Wi-Fi is done through a third-party and most times will not allow any type of video streaming.
The showers are coin operated and one was not working right while I was there and only served cold water. That can be a nightmare when you have one coin with you. They only except two dollar coins and the office did not have any at the time I needed some.
The wood they sell for the campfires is way over priced at $10 for a very small bag. The wood is Poppell and its too dry and only last a couple of minutes.
The small store was poorly stocked but I do assume it was because it was the opening weekend.
The ice that I bought I believe was last years ,it was all frozen together and I couldn't break it apart to have cubes for my drinks.
Overall I give this park a decent rating and would recommend it to friends

Camped around Alberta in many different camp grounds !! This one by far is the "cleanest" and "friendliest" we've ever been😊 Our site was drive through and very spacious😊 We had a beautiful lake view site that was very peaceful😊 It showed from entering your park to leaving your park that you truly care about what you do😊 Enjoyed our time very much with you and defiantly will be back😊 Thank you Cheers❤️ Marco and Leanna😊

We recently stayed at the campsite with full services. We were greeted at the gate and escorted through to our site. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Sites are level and each site has a dual sewer line. This might be the reason there was a slight sewer smell but that was the only drawback to the campground. Washrooms are dated but very clean. Showers are available at $2.00 for 5 minutes. Wood can be purchased and the staff will even deliver it to your campsite. Sites are well maintained. The lake does have leeches but the water was warm and has a nice beach area. As this is an area for campers only it was never overcrowded. We fished off the dock early in the morning and caught a couple of nice trout. This is a family orientated campground and as such it was very quiet during the late evening and night time hours.

Booked ourselves into the Lake-facing Log Cabins. Wonderful set up, with 4 bunk beds and a double bed. Easily sleeps 6.
Pros: Reasonably priced at $130/night. Cabins were clean, the public washrooms were clean. No noticeable litter around. The park is gated and that helps keep unwanted visitors out.
The lake itself is great for fishing. We had a small inflatable and caught multiple 3 lb rainbow trouts. Great fun for the kids!
Cons: What was not expected was a $2 charge for a 5-minute shower.
The railroad runs close to the area and the accompanying honk is quite annoying during night time.
Overall, due to its beautiful location and proximity to Edmonton, we would definitely visit the property again.

Arrived on July 1, 2016. We picked this campground as it was 1/2 hr from Edmonton. We had relatives staying for the summer in their RV from the UK, and they had some business to do in the city and others from Calgary. It seemed a good "central" location for us all to hook up.
Pro's: very nice, spacious sites, many of which are pull-thru and most are full-service. There are a couple of tiny cabins to rent that have a queen bed, bunks, and a tiny kitchenette with bar fridge and microwave, but very small. Friendly Staff that met us at the gate as we pulled up and they escourt you to your site when you arrive. Nice swimming area and fishing dock. Dog friendly. Very clean and well kept. Secure campground. The gates are locked after 10pm and anyone coming into the park is required to have either a camping pass or purchase a day-visitor pass ($5.50) -- this is closely monitored. Wifi is available to overnight guests. You are given a code for every day that you are here for one device per day. Each code is good for 24 hours. Its not the best internet -- reminds me of what you get in Mexico - quite slow and a lot of web pages won't open. There is coin laundry facilities and coin showers. The store at the office has flavored soft ice cream and some basic grocery items. The park is located 15 minutes from Spruce Grove which has all the services you will ever need. Fishing in the lake, but boat speeds are limited to 12 km/hr
Con's: Quite expensive. $55 a night for full service. Where we come from, in east central Alberta, full service sites are $25-30 a night. Firewood is very expensive -- $10 for a bag. (Call the office and they deliver it to your site) They charge $10 just to make your reservation -- over & above the daily rate. Visitors coming into the park are charged $5.50 per vehicle per day -- they probably made $50 of "free money" off of our visitors!! -- the visitor fee and the reservation fee is a blatant money-grab, for sure. As well there is a long list of rules & Regulations.
It was an OK place for meeting up with our group but probably won't come back again unless we're in a similar situation for meeting up with a group.

Nice clean campground! The washrooms and grounds were immaculate!
A bit pricey, but the cleanliness, service and friendly staff were well worth it! The staff escorted us to our spot which was lovely.
This is a nice, quiet place for families. Excellent management of rowdy patrons.
The free morning newspaper was a nice touch!
