Palladium Hotel Menorca is lauded for its immaculate cleanliness and modern decor, offering a welcoming atmosphere and quality entertainment, despite occasional remarks about loud music. The hotel's location boasts breathtaking views and beach proximity, though the terrain can challenge some guests with its steepness. While the staff's friendliness and professionalism often receive commendation, service can sometimes be inconsistent. Rooms are celebrated for their modernity and vistas but criticized for space constraints and air conditioning problems. Travelers enjoy the amenities but note shortcomings in shade provision and towel supply, with the all-inclusive option sometimes falling short of expectations due to added costs.

Hotel's Favourite
We visited the hotel at the end of September this year and have to say it’s a gorgeous hotel that is so beautifully decorated. The staff were lovely, from cleaners to receptionist. We booked a sea view room on the 6th hotel and the views were absolutely stunning. The food was lovely with lots of seafood which we prefer. We absolutely loved Jorge who served/carved the meats and found him absolutely hilarious.
The hotel is just minutes from the bus stop which takes you to various other towns on the island - we went to the capital Mahon a couple of times and it’s well worth a visit. The harbour boat tour is great! There’s not a huge amount in the town where the hotel is situated, but there’s a few beach restaurants and supermarket a couple of minutes away. The beach is amazing with crystal clear water and it’s great to snorkel in as lots of fish. There are sun beds for hire - €19 for 2 beds with sun shade. There are pedalos as well as kayaks and paddle boards for hire too.
The evening entertainment was really good and we loved the wine that was served. I wish we could buy this wine in the UK!
My only small niggle was the lack of snacks between meals - you can ask for a sandwich with either ham, cheese or chicken, and there’s nuts at the bar, but no hot food to order such as burgers or anything like that. Dinner is also quite late starting at 7pm, but these were just minor things for us because we found the overall experience really good. Great hotel with lovely staff who couldn’t do enough for you. Rooms immaculate too.

My wife and I spent a week at the Palladium hotel from 9 to 16 September 2021.

Good points
As soon as we arrived we were greeted with a friendly smile and that continued with every member of staff until we left.
The hotel was immaculate as it has been recently refurbished.
The bedroom was a good size however the massive (and very comfortable) bed did create some pinch points.
The bathroom was lovely with a powerful rain and hand shower.
The views are probably this resort's greatest asset.
The pools were refreshing (one adult pool) as they were a little on the cool side but you soon got used to it.
The daytime animation programme was back to back and very good.
The animation team were very friendly and full of energy (especially Jeus and Laura!) If you don't want to get involved just sit away from the main pool on the higher level.
Evening entertainment (from 10pm to 11pm) was marginal but probably due to the small size of the audience not creating an atmosphere.
The food in the main restaurant was good quality with a wide choice.
The walk, down many steps, to the beach took about 7 minutes. The walk back was a bit of a workout. I would suggest this place is not good for the less able or people with pushchairs.
The resort is very quiet which suited us this time. If you want a bit of night life this is probably not the place for you.

Not so Good points
The one quibble I have is that it should be pointed out at booking that 'all inclusive' is only for basic drinks and should be described as 'all inclusive basic'. If you want cider, cocktails or branded drinks you need to pay 12€ extra per person per day for each person in your party.

All in all I recommend this hotel to people that want a quiet and relaxing time with the option of a lot of fun throughout the day in a location with spectacular views.

I booked with Jet2 for seven nights – All Inclusive stay during late September 2022.
I opted to pay extra for a deluxe sea view room (I had a 3rd floor Room – 301, which had views to Arenal Bay, beach and headland)

This hotel is extremely clean and spotless, hand sanitizer is provided in different areas.
The décor and design inside the hotel was stunning, think light beige colours and blue tones with comfortable furniture and seating all around the restaurant and lobby areas, like from a scandanavian showroom, whoever created this altogether has a great eye for design.
The view from the Lobby to the beach and bay, just beautiful.

The food was excellent for an All Inclusive and what I liked the most was not only the quality but the food was kept at a hot temperature.
So much choice for lunch and dinner time. You could even make a 3 course meal at lunchtime, if you wished, there were so many options, and the main dishes and desserts changed every day, so didn’t repeat, so you had a chance to try other foods.

The Room and bed were very comfortable, I had a king size bed to myself, such a treat! the room has many additional extras - Tea, Coffee, Kettle, Small Fridge (Mini Bar), Safety Deposit Box, Flatscreen Tv, open wardrobe, with shelving.

In the Bathroom, Shower Gel, Shampoo, Body Lotion and Conditioner and a hairdryer found in the bathroom drawer.
The above was all provided and included in the price of the holiday and I feel it is excellent value.

The pool area is nice, especially the Adult Only Area with the modern square pool, if you wanted peace and quiet or a Balinese Bed to hire, then this is for you.

Just a couple of suggestions and this is not meant in a negative way,
I felt the Main Pool area, could have some more greenery/planting around it, to improve the experience, this area just lacks as it felt quite clinical/concrete area. The appearance of the pool area needs to be softened with planting. Even to provide some trees there for shade during the hot summer months.

In the room, there are no drawers (just 7 shelves) the bedside tables do not have any storage and I feel this could be improved, especially if 3 people are staying in the room, they may struggle for storage space.

Thank you to the hotel and staff, I must highlight the restaurant staff and I had good conversations about Menorca, they are such friendly people who have high customer service skills, they are a credit to your hotel.
The amount of affection your staff have with talking to the young children in the restaurant and welcoming repeat guests, it was so nice to see. The restaurant had a very family orientated feel to it and they get to know people well.

This is a wonderful hotel, with excellent staff, customer service, excellent food, beautiful furnishings.
The Palladium Management and Staff have made this hotel work so well, I will definitely return here and would consider their sister hotels too.
I give the hotel - 12/10 - high praise indeed.

As a couple, this was our first experience of a long weekend away... and we were not disappointed!

The hotel staff are always on hand with a friendly face, the food was top quality and plenty to choose from with an amazing show cooking service.

Situated just at the top of a couple of flights of stairs to the beautiful beach, it was a perfect location for a relaxing weekend away.

The beach had crystal clear sea, litter free sand and we even had a go at the paddle surfing available on the beach for 15 euros an hour, great fun!

The only downside we experienced was the lack of air conditioning quality that was offered in the rooms. The A/C device was easy to use but seemed not to work, this was a little bit of a bother when in the 29/30 degree heat. But that was the only negative!

A brilliant stay, lovely staff and on the whole a great experience.

We came to this hotel early May as we last visited in 2017 so was great to see the new reforb (which is stunning) it was lovely to see some familiar faces too.
As soon as you arrive you are met with really friendly staff especially Lydia on reception. After a speedy check in we went to our room (515) overlooking the pool, the room was bright airy and very clean with a huge comfy bed free safe good wardrobe space with lots of hanger, a spacious balcony a decent fridge with 2 bottles of water ( keep your bottles to refill as they are not replenshied) the bathroom had shower gel shampoo and conditioner in the shower and hand soap and body lotion next to sink with a hairdryer in the drawer. Housekeeping were brilliant came everyday and always with a smile.
The restaurant is bright airy and spacious with Eppi on the door to greet you with a smile. A special mention to the lovely Antonia and euginia who looked after us perfectly. The food here is fantastic with lots of choice and lots of freshly cooked food to ( steaks chicken stir fry) you won't go hungry here.
The bars here are fab serving everything and the staff are so friendly and efficient thanks to Reuben Jose and Danny for always serving us with a smile.
The animation team here are by far the best, the energy they have is absolutely amazing always happy to chat to you. ( thank you Hannah assandra & jezu) the acts were a bit hit and miss and they need some improvement Danial the sax guy was brilliant and the karaoke was fun too but maybe some tribute acts and comedy would be good.
Overall this hotel ticks all the boxes and we will be back to visit.
Thanks for making memories 💙

We stayed here for our babymoon as a couple in our late 20's. The restaurant food was good and every night was the option of freshly cooked meat/fish which was cooked in front of you, along with a variety of different themed food menus including Mexican, Chinese & Sushi. The rooms were spacious with extra big beds and the bathrooms offered a large waterfall shower with a pressure shower option too.
There were always sunbeds available around the pool at all times of the day.
The evening entertainment was good but could do with some further seating outside of the 'theatre' area for guests who did not want to be in the centre of the entertainment but still wanted drinks etc in the bar area. The day time activities were suitable for all ages, various darts/sports/ball games etc. Beach easily within 10 min walk (downhill/steps), the hotel does offer shuttle buses to the beach and back too.
Overall a very enjoyable stay and we would definitely reccomend.

Positives:
Rooms/Facilities: Newly refurbished, clean rooms with large double beds. Nice Big Showers. Lovely views of Beach/Sea. Pools where lovely and pool area was kept very clean.
Food/Restaurant: Plenty of Choice/standard AL Buffet style (we preferred the Breakfast/Lunch over dinner as too much fish on dinner buffet which I am not a fan off), staff very efficient at cleaning/getting drinks orders, like the vacant/taken cards for the tables. Good Service at Bars.
All Interactions with staff where pleasant.
Beach is amazing but as per other reviews beware of trek back via 200 stairs in 30 degrees heat)

Negatives:
Lots of flies in Reception Area & Restaurant (I understand the heat but never seen this issue in other hotels in hot countries).
No Air Conditioning in Restaurant, Entertainment Area or Bar at the Reception. We had to go to bed early one night as it was too hot to sit anywhere in hotel. I did mention to staff who said it was just not working!!!
Inquired about shuttle bus to beach and was told we did not need the bus as it was only 10 minute walk. Struggled with beach bags in 30 Degrees heat coming back up the 200+ steps would of preferred to take the shuttle bus not sure why Receptionist wouldn't recommend.
Room: Stayed in the Deluxe double that was meant for 3 people - room is very small and very little room to store store clothes/suitcases.

Overall it was a good stay in a lovely hotel. I will definitely come back to Menorca for my main Summer Holiday but could not stay in the hotel again as I felt while it was nice in places it fell short in others and not worth the price with the negatives encountered.

Our Agent told us how good the Palladium Hotel Group were, so we took his advice and went on the All Inclusive Plus Package. The Hotel is in a lovely position overlooking the bay, yes the walk to the beach is hilly but exercise never hurt anyone. The Hotel does provide a shuttle bus if needed several times a day. Regular bus to Mahon stops close to the hotel and is very reasonable. The Hotel itself is spotless, the staff are wonderful, lots of smiling faces from Reception, Bars, Restaurant and Pool Area. All Inclusive Package is the way to go, the Breakfast is plentiful, Buffet and Chef's cooking. Lunch and Dinner is so good, you cannot fault the food on offer as its all fresh and of such a high quality

Cold water is on tap in the Restaurant so you can fill your water bottles (nice touch) Towels and Safety Deposit Bod are also free to use (nice touch)

The beach is lovely, nice sand, sheltered, warm to bathe, plenty of room, the Pool are at the Hotel is also first class, no shortage of sunbeds, pool for children and adults. plenty of room

The Hotel provides a variety of entertainment also

What describes this hotel in a word is "QUALITY"

We truly could not fault our week here, it was quiet, lots of peaceful areas to sit and read, it is well managed and well staffed. We shall definitely return especially as the location is easy to get to (30 mins Mahon, Mahon Airport)

Although we have been using this hotel for well over 20 years, in its other guise as the Fiesta Castell Playa, we were unsure of what to expect even though it had gone up a star. We needed have worried as we turned in on the coach, there had been a complete refurb both inside and out. Congratulation must go to Snr Antonio Cascallar - the manager, who I would think had a huge part in the hotel's transformation. One thing that has never changed is the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. it was good to to see some of the old faces, Lidia, Zaida, Epi, Magda, Jose and others, plus new faces a mention must go to Anwar- Bars, Zak -dining room, Irene customer assistance. The outside area ar lovely and clean, in a pale grey, a main pool, children's pool, and an Adults only pool on a raised area with Bali Beds, plenty of sunbeds to go around as hotel was only 70% full, but Brits and others still got up at daft o'clock to reserve. Terracing has been redone, and brand new seating areas, both high and low. The food in the dining room was excellent, with a really good choice at all mealtimes, also there are magical views of the bay from the picture windows. One small issue It would be good if children under say 12, were escorted by and adult, as some younger guests did sample ice cream, cakes on their fingers. The all inclusive drinks package gave the choice of branded spirits, eg Bacardi and Bombay gin, really premium brands were an extra charge, but this is a reduced one. The animation team were good, encouraging you, but not pushing you to take part, and cabaret was good too, another small issue, parents allowing children to wander around, climb on stage when the main cabaret was on, just small point that could be addressed. The rooms are superb especially the sea view well worth the extra, really comfortable beds and well decorated, nice bright airy corridors , one thing rooms with the whirlpool bath overlook the pools as opposed to the bay. All in all a most impressive hotel, that was really spot on with Covid defences, yes it may not suit everyone, but it deserves a chance. See you in 2022. We travelled with Jet2 and they were most professional.

Fantastic modern hotel that after a recent refurbishment has kept it's cleanliness and appearance as if new. All inclusive ended up being the right choice because the choices of food for lunch and dinner was varied and of a decent standard of quality. One downside was that options for vegetarian/vegan were very limited meaning there would be a lot of repetition in your meals.
Staff across the board were fantastic. Cleaning, waiting, reception, bar and entertainment staff were ALL polite and efficient and stood by the same ethos of what the hotel was trying to achieve. Quite impressive really.
All inclusive was good, although they did have a premier bar menu that was not included in the all inclusive package. This was mainly for imported drinks and fancy cocktails. The choice outside the 'premium menu' was sufficient to satisfy 99% of the guests (i would think).
Entertainment around the pool was fun and there was ZERO pressure to participate. If you did take part, you was made welcome and the activities were of the sort that was suitable for all ages.
Evening entertainment was varied i assume in order to satisfy every taste in music/entertainment. I personally thought the entertainment every night was of an excellent standard. If there was a genre that was not to your liking, there were plenty of places to take a drink and chat inside and out in comfort and if drinking on the terraces with great views of the sea and coves.
Although we was all inclusive we do like a change of scenery occasionally and eat out. The resort of Arenal Den Castel is small and quiet. Very few restaurants and not a huge amount to do/see outside of the hotel in the resort. However, the 3 restaurants we did experience were very good and we would recommended. Fantastic local beach. Note however, no sunbeds or shade on the beach and access to and from the beach is via steep slopes/steps. The hotel does operate a bus service but i think it's on an hourly basis (don't remember).
The Capital City Mahon is 20-25 minutes away from the hotel and worth a visit. 3 euros each way by bus (direct) or 30 euros by taxi. There is a private hire for 30 euro per room which is good for couples but expensive option for a family of 4.
Worth a visit.

We received an email a few months before we were due to travel advising us of nearby building work. We were offered the option to change hotels but we decided against it and it was not a decision we regretted. There is a crane at the rear of the hotel but I can honestly say I never saw it move once and heard no noise relating to building works. In fact we are quite sure it was in exactly the same place last year when we stayed there and it didn’t move then.
