It is a motel, and it does show some wear and tear, but it was quite comfortable and clean. Centrally located on Highway 3, it offers continental breakfast and an outdoor swimming pool (though we visited during the pandemic, so those features were not available at that time). Friendly staff and reasonable rates. Restaurant on site, with many more nearby.

The check-in was a little rocky but got sorted out. The first dog friendly room we were given was in an undesirable area of the Inn. It was dark and had heavenly stained carpet. Once we let the front desk know, she moved us to a better room.
The rooms are very small and starting to show their age. The new room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It had a nice sized tv.
The bar refrigerator’s ice box was full of ice so we couldn’t put our ice blocks in it. The front desk clerk let us put them in the dining room freezer. The Inn definitely looks better on the outside with a very nice outdoor pool. The continental breakfast had very little selection. The amenities were a nice touch. After travelling for the better part of 7 weeks and staying in 40 plus accommodations, we found this wasn’t the greatest value for our dollar.

We planned a stay is this little southern BC town and it included one night here.

The room was decent sized and it appears to have been freshened with paint and some work in the bathroom.

We had two queen beds but slept in only one. This one was quite soft - be design or wear I am not sure.

The breakfast was simple and satisfying, but the coffee rapidly disappeared.

Overall, we had simple expectations and it met those requirements. The staff were glad to serve and answer questions.

BTW - the pool is down indefinitely as the liner is ripped. You can sit around the pool deck but don't jump in.

We spent one night at the Grand Forks Inn and were very pleased with the motel. As it was during the pandemic we were somewhat concerned about staying in a hotel, we were very pleased with how the motel handled the cleaning process. The room was spotless and check in and check out were totally “touchless” The front desk staff are very efficient and pleasant to deal with. Because of the pandemic the breakfast was not offered but coffee and tea are available in the lobby for guests to take to their rooms. In spite of the motel being busy it was quiet and the beds are very comfortable. Wifi is good as well.
We highly recommend this accommodation

The room was clean, quiet and very comfortable. The staff were pleasant and did not hesitate to go the extra mile to provide exceptional personalized service. I was however somewhat disappointed to find that while I was charged $174 per night, Expedia had the price at $138. I realize there were some extra charges, and I paid a pet deposit of $150 which was returned on checkout. That was above the room charge. I wish that there had been an offer to match the online price. However, the stay was a pleasant one.

We were a group that stayed Saturday September 11th. Upon arrival, the rooms were all waiting and the check-in process was instant.
Rooms have been recently updated, and many returning team members commented on how much they loved the updates.
This hotel is easy to find, easy to everything in town, lots of parking, and super friendly staff.
Thank you for hosting our group!

Unfortunately the booking clerk who made my reservation over the phone booked my stay for the wrong day, and by the time I had noticed, the incorrect date had already passed and my credit card was charged as a "no show". This was over a week before when my requested date was.

I did not catch their mistake until it was too late. I called to advise of this, but management refused to provide a refund. I now am stuck paying for someone else's mistake. I travel for work very frequently and I double-check and triple-check my information when making a booking, and I have NEVER encountered this. I called to politely advise of this, but management refused to provide a refund. I am now stuck paying for someone else's mistake. Absolutely zero responsibility taken by them and no sense of customer service. How shameful.

I was a part of a group that stayed on Saturday September 10th. Upon arrival I was greeted by the same friendly face that has been there in past visits, and she's always incredibly helpful.
The hotel is right on the main highway, central to everything you need with a grocery store across the street. Lots of parking out front makes it easy to load everything out of the vehicle at the end of the day. We appreciate you making room for our group on a busy weekend!

This motel is old and very dated and over priced for the condition of the room. The bathtub didn’t drain properly, the kitchen faucet felt like it would lift right out of the sink, the bathroom and the kitchenette are dated with old appliances. All in all a disappointment, especially considering the price that was charged.
