Can skip coming here. The pictures look nice but when you get here you’ll find a very run down place. Cabins are Ok by just ok. Seems like an operation for the oilfield still. Equipment and junk everywhere. You drive amongst it to go to your cabin. The marina is ok but only for use of the operators, CIVEO. Garbage is lying everywhere. In the water and tall grass which is also every where. They could use a weed eater. Our visit at the late part of July they are still ramming Covid rules down your throat and making you wear a mask. They are operating in oilfield rules yet this is a public campground. Our fire pit is basically unusable as it’s on a 30 degree lean and so close to the bank of the shore you can’t sit around it. We booked for a week but went home on day 4. This was certainly better when privately owned. Oh and if you think you can come and camp here. Won’t be east. Stalls that are empty you can’t get in. Pretty much every other stall is rented to annual campers. And honestly the camping area isn’t very nice. Overgrown and not maintained. There are much nicer places to spend your camping dollar
