We managed to get an oceanfront 2 bedroom unit with an incredible view. The other room we were offered had a shady balcony and looked into a drainage ditch. That would have been awful. I think your experience of the unit will really depend on which unit you are assigned. Location is unbeatable and the basics (toilet paper, towels, laundry soap, dish soap, spices, etc.) are all provided. At check-in, no units were available at 4PM so we had to wait. I think this may be common. The unit and complex were great but the pool had some issues. The pool itself was lovely, but nobody followed the pool rules. Rules were posted such as, no eating/drinking in the pool, no throwing balls, no beach toys, no kids under 6 years old in the hot tub, no babies without swim diapers, etc. Nobody followed these rules making it a crowded and filthy environment. There were people eating in the hot tub (no joke, I saw a person consume an entire bowl of coleslaw while sitting in the hot tub. He then washed his hands and face in the water –ew!), eating in the pool, throwing footballs so you had to duck or get hit in the head, bringing sandy boogie boards into the pool which took up all the space. There were young kids splashing in the hot tub unsupervised with enormous toys, babies without diapers, and nobody rinsed the sand off before getting into the water. The hot tub had a thick layer of sand at the bottom. Needless to say, we barely used the pool. Management needs to sort this out to make it an enjoyable environment for everyone.

This is a wonderful resort. This is the second time i have stayed here. The last time was in 2004 when the resort was only a couple years old. I know that this resort is now 20 years old but it is still in good condition. No the units do not look brand new but they are in good condition. What part of its age is showing is more than offset by its location. If it was not built 20 years ago it would not be as close to the beach as it is. This resort is literally across the street from a very nice swim beach. As a worldmark owner I knew when i checked in what to expect and this resort lived up to all of my expectations. There is not any maid service, the internet is a charge service unless your a worldmark travel share owner. But these things are standard for worldmark resorts. There is a full kitchen with every thing you need to cook your meals so you don't have to eat out 3 meals a day. The pool are is great our kids spent the days on the beach and the nights in the pool. We have 4 teenagers and we had no problem letting them go to the pool. We went with them some but a lot of the time they were alone and we had no issues. We had a great time for the almost 2 weeks we were here and enjoyed the resort. The location is close to a lot of things like shopping and restaurants, beaches, snorkeling, and surfing (not great surfing but my kids loved it). The staff was good and helpful when we needed anything.

The Worldmark Kihei Resort is in a very convenient location on south Kihei Road close to all amenities for vacation living. . The resort is clean and tidy in a lush tropical garden compound just across from Kamaole Beach 1 in Kihei. The resort has a great luxurious pool , gym and hot-tub area for all ages. There are BBQ and picnic tables for outdoor eating near the pool. The rooms were spacious, older decor but in good shape. All appliances are available with dishes, cutlery and glassware. Would highly recommend this resort for economical reasons and the easy going attitudes and laid back area.

Old, out of date, uncomfortable furniture like a old hotel with below standard (bear minimum) kitchen supplies ( 1ply toilet paper, cheap paper tile). Old, not SmartTV with very limited internet access. No Netflix, Prime, YouTube... access. Limited Wifi that you have to pay for separately. Have to individually set up TV internet for a Movie Box with the internet provider (bring your own HDMI cable) but still no general internet access. Slow Wifi speed limits streaming. Best for families with children. No place for adults on the property.

Ok facility, and staff seemed nice but many restrictions and closed fitness center and hot tub. My wife made our reservations here at world mark Kihei and I was ok With it partly because the price was reasonable and they listed that they had a fitness center. When we got here there were many restrictions due to panic over COVID. In Hawaii they are still panic driven rather than driven by fact. I understand wearing mask when you cannot social distance but wearing a mask when you are outside and more than 6 feet away to me does not make a lot of sense. Worldmark is even more panic driven as all the gyms on Maui are currently open with social distancing and masks except Worldmark’s. I guess I should have called to make sure that the fitness center was open before making the reservation. I do believe that at this point Worldmark should either open their fitness center and hot tub or remove the fitness center and hot tub from their marketing. Buyer beware. I would call to make sure all the things that you are planning on are available before making your reservations.
I am also not a fan of the WiFi charge for each device.

Stayed in #4107 and encountered an ant problem in the kitchen. Maintenance sprayed twice and it seemed to make the problem worse. Floors were disgustingly dirty, not well swept or vacuumed, nor have they been deep cleaned in a very long time. The condo smelled of old wet items. The curtains and other items have not been dusted in a long time, the dust activated my allergies. There are cobwebs behind furniture and in wall corners. Luckily, there was a plunger in the unit because the bathtub was clogged. There’s a cat problem in the back of the property near the dumpster. There was a guest feeding the cats which is probably why they stick around. The resort is outdated but it should not lack cleanliness. Old doesn’t have to mean dirty. However, the employees were quite nice and welcoming.
Location is great! Walking distance to beach, chair/umbrella rentals, food trucks, convenience store, and about a 40$ Uber ride to the airport.

Rooms are nice NO FREE WIFI (unreasonably priced in my opinion) We’re not able to accommodate our luggage when having to wait for flights. Fitness room could use better and different equipment. It’s beautiful here though.

As long-time owners, our family has vacationed together at many different World Mark properties throughout the US over the last 30 years and never had a bad or disappointing experience until now. Our visit to the Kihei property was so bad that we only stayed one night of our planned seven night stay and then found another place to finish out our vacation. There were ants crawling on the kitchen stove, broken door knobs, broken bathroom mirrors, and a broken towel rack. The door to the washer/dryer closet was missing, meaning that the washer/dryer unit was visible from the entry and dining room of the unit. They didn't even make an effort to hide it with a curtain. Everything was very run down and the balcony table and chairs were thick with dirt. The mattress on the Murphy bed was fine, but the box spring was visibly old and dirty. My parents had visited the same complex when it was new and said that it didn't appear that any maintenance or updating had been done in the intervening 20 years. The only thing this complex has going for it is its proximity to the beach and the food trucks adjacent to the parking lot. I wish I'd taken pictures to document the state of things, but we couldn't get out of there fast enough.

We're members of WorldMark and we've stayed in a few resorts (Lahaina, Kihei, Kauai as well as throughout California).
This review is for Ronda. By far the BEST massage I've had. She was professional, discreet and knew exactly what I needed. I gave her a few places where I needed work (shoulder and back), and she went to work.
It was a great place inside a private cabana by the pool with soft relaxing music and the sound of water around.
Ronda hit all the knots on my shoulders, back and legs and worked the out. To say I felt better after is an understatement.
I definitely HIGHLY recommend her. If you're in the area and need a relaxing massage that is reasonably priced compared to all the other massage salons, make sure you stop by and make reservations for a 50 or more minutes. You won't be disappointment.

We have stayed at this property many times over the years. It is getting renovated which it desperately needed. What hotels/condos/rentals need to remember is if something in the unit is not clean then the whole unit is perceived as dirty..The unit was not vacuumed well. The surfaces were not wiped down. There were dried paint drips on the kitchen counter and on the bathroom floor. There is some kind of dried adhesive on the curb of the shower. I tried to scrub it off but it won’t budge, it looks dirty. There is pencil writing on the bathroom counter, calculations from the construction crew I think. So I’m sure the bathroom counters were not cleaned properly. The towels are very bad, thin and scratchy. We went to a local discount store and bought towels (I will donate them when we leave). Since we are going to be here for three weeks we have to clean our unit and change our own sheets. This may sound petty but we’ve paid a lot to WorldMark over the years and I’m not sure I would do it again.

Yes, the complex is located across the street from the beach. There are many equipment rental shops within walking distance. Tip: check at the main office as people leave lots of boogie boards, etc. upon their departure.
There are more places to choose from in the Kihei area.
