went for a girls trip and stayed in a 2 quee/ full bed suite (don't really remember the size of the beds but big enough for 2). Beds were comfy, extra room with separate sink/microwave/fridge/dinning area. 2 TVs, wifi was subpar and if you have verizon your phone will probably not do well. ATT and Tmobile seemed to do ok. Water pressure was terrible so this is not a long stay with kids or wash your hair type of place. This is the kind of place you go for a cheap clean safe stay and hopefully the sand gets out of hard to reach places. bring body wash and a loofah. towels are very small but soft. bedding was nice and comfy. ACs worked great. for the money compared to what we could have spent, it was a great deal. Also, its a VERY short drive to the beach, only a few minutes. Definitely recommend staying in this area to save some money if you have a car because Colingy beach parking is free and the beach itself has many amenities.

I was worried due to the low reviews but the hotel served the purpose : 5 minutes from Burke's beach and singleton beach, Pirate Island mini golf next door and walking distance restaurants few mins to the marina
the hotel room was clean, but too small , my king size room had fridge, microwave , table , pillows were hard as a rock , giving 4 stars because the pool needs more cleaning i wanted to spend few hours there after we came back from the beach but the pool had a smell and wasnt the chlorine
slime water i felt was not clean I didn't see anyone cleaning it. Also it says breakfast complementary but had only packages of donuts, and honeybunns and Coffee
Is ok because we went to the stacked Pancake restaurant and it was great.
The hotel room I Felt it was overprice
for 2 nights I paid$ 426. other HOTELS were higher but with better acomoditites, if you need a just a room nothing else, if you are out most of the day like I did, this hotel was ok. For the price and location. The lady at front desk was nice and acomodating. My room was clean and had no strong smell , quite during the night, property was very clean.

First the lady who checked us in was very nice and accommodating.

I booked at Days Inn because this was a business trip and I didn’t need anything fancy. The reviews were fairly decent and the online pics were nice.

Days Inn by Wyndham made me think there were minimum standards of cleanliness and decorum. Wyndham does have a prestigious name in the hotel industry. The room I stayed in did not meet the standards that a person paying $190 a night would expect. The room was dated and several things needed attention. Some baseboard was missing, there were cigarette burns on the vanity, the card lock to get in needed several attempts to unlock the front door. Just a lot of little things that tells me they are trying to squeeze every penny of profit until people stop coming.

I just don’t understand if all you have to offer is a room, then in order to build repeat business, you need to put your best foot forward.

Nothing personal but I won’t be back.

If you can get a room for dirt cheap, then that is the only way I could justify a few days in this hotel.
Location is great, bed is comfortable and I loved the pillows, but the positives end there.

It would seem that somehow folks have burned this hotel with towel usage....I had to promise naming rights of the next 2 generations to get a towel for our room. Pool towels were given in exchange of waiting and following a staff member around as he cursed at another employee for not being behind the desk. The pool towels are only appropriate for guests the size of garden gnomes.

When I asked for room towels at the front desk, I was told that we only got two towels since we had a king room. I then had to give the specifics of when our dirty towels were given to housekeeping, who they were given to, and the number of towels. The towel situation was a running joke for our family.

The rooms have a very small dehumidifier that fills quickly and then beeps loudly when full. That beep woke up many times, although we emptied it regularly.

The room was dirty, and no one working here seemed to want to be here. Since we paid $190 a night, we expected more than mini sized little Debbie snacks & hard oranges for breakfast.

Pay a little more and have a nicer beach experience. We will certainly do so next time.

We had points from Wyndham for listening to their timeshare so we used them here. Big mistake! The bathroom has never been updated since the time the building was built, no dresser, one nightstand. Due to COVID the breakfast consisted of breakfast bars from Walmart, packaged pastries and bottled water. The air conditioner kept us awake most of the nights. The front desk woman works there all day and night and actually lives on sight! She runs around trying to take care of everything. It’s more a Motel 8 from what I’ve heard of them. Again due to COVID there is no maid service and if you want clean towels you either put them in a bag and leave outside or take them downstairs. You pick up the clean towels later in the day.

Great location, clean room, comfy bed, great pillows, inexpensive. Use and empty the dehumidifier in the room or everything will get very very damp. I emptied it twice on most days. Lobby door broken, part on order which is excusable. Decent pool but could do alot better to make it attractive.
What's not excusable are filthy dirty unpainted doors and unpainted dirty concrete stairways outside with cigarette butts on them. Disgusting!!!
You can see it was once a nice place but it has been grossly neglected. That's a shame. I wouldn't go back.

Very run down and old hotel. Very unfriendly staff. Poor service. Don't recommend booking here. 1st room issued had not been cleaned. 2nd room Room # 344 issued was run down, floor under carpet was very uneven, and had several soft spots that felt like you are walking on carpet covering rotted wood that was broken underneath the carpet. When you step on the spot, your foot sinks into the floor. Everything smelled. There was a portable dehumidifier in the room that you have to run. When we arrived, it was shut off due to water bucket full. We dumped the bucket and it turned on. Even on low speed, it was very noisy. Bucket was full again 6 hours later. Common areas and elevator are very dirty and unmaintained. Exterior door was broken. I am a VIP platinum member with Wyndham Rewards and I am embarrassed that this hotel is part of their inventory. This room was $160 per night and was the quality you would expect from a motel 6 or something.

This is an older style motel with outside corridors. But it is being renovated. The room I had , while on the small size, was updated with new bedding, carpeting, painted walls, flat screen TV, plugs for electronics and bathroom fixtures. It is well positioned on the island. The price, in my opinion, makes a stay here a good value.

Loved how clean, spacious, accommodating this hotel is. For our first time in Hilton head we didn’t want to spend a ridiculous amount of money on a hotel; we’ve been to tybee island and while we loved that beach the affordable hotels on tybee aren’t the cleanest. We wanted to see what Hilton head was like and see how the hotels compared. It’s a complete 180. The people are friendly the pool isn’t crowded or nasty, the ladies behind the front desk were so amazing and sweet! Loved that I didn’t have to spend over $400 on a hotel for one weekend! Thank you guys and gals so much! We will most definitely be returning and telling all of our friends about hotel Carolina!

This Days Inn is OLD. too many updates are needed. I asked at checkin for sheets to be changed as we had one family leaving and another arriving during our stay. They never changed and when I asked they said we did not ask and that they are not changing sheets during your stay. I got the sheets and changed them myself. We were told no staff would be coming in our room, had to put our used towels in a bag and place in hallway. But they did collect our trash in our room. I think the floor would have been more comfortable than the bed.
Will NEVER stay here again!!

Majority of the bike paths are appropriate for children as most are near the sidewalk. Only time I remember them being in the street was at an intersection when you are crossing the street.
