We've stayed at the Comfort Inn a number of times over the years and never have been disappointed. This time, no surprises again. Clean rooms, well maintained, reasonable price on the days we stayed, no problem checking in early. Front desk was helpful and friendly.

FIRST CALL THE HOTEL FRONT DESK FOR A ROOM RATE QUOTE BEFORE CALLING THE 1800 NUMBER YOU WILL GET A BETTER RATE!
We stayed on the 2nd floor behind the highway and ended up with a quiet room and a chance to open up the curtains and look out to the trees and no one could look in. Buy some food and then use the microwave or fridge inside your room. You can use either the coffee/tea in the front lobby while surfing the internet or the one in your room.
Although they do not have a pool, the comp breakfast , clean decent sized rooms and bathrooms make up for it.
Your comp breakfast includes, toast, muffins, belgium waffles, ceral, hard boiled eggs, jucie, apples were the big ticket items.
If there is no sitting space for breakfast they have it set up so you can take it up to your room or ask for room service
Midland is little township with plenty to do for a day or two and then relax in this hotel since it's quiet.
We were not expecting much but it was a wonderful happy find and would highly recommend this hotel.

Comfort Inn is an excellent place to stay in the Midland area. The rooms are very clean, with comfortable beds, fridge in the room and a coffee maker. They serve a breakfast which has many options of food and is very good. I can't say enough about the staff here they where extremely friendly and very helpful with any questions you ask them. i will definitely return to the Comfort Inn next time I am in the Midland area.

Hi, Thank you for your recent review of the newly renovated Comfort Inn Midland. Paul McCartney said: "Don't work at being ordinary." At our hotel we've worked really hard to establish ourselves as the # 1 hotel in our community, and continue to work long days maintaining our high standards such that we'll remain # 1. For example, Comfort Inn brand standards require that we station one breakfast attendant in the breakfast room. However, we station THREE !! It was great to have you as our guest, and we hope to see you again soon. Remember, it's always best to arrange your guest room reservation directly with the hotel, and not Booking.com or Expedia.ca. You'll receive the same great rate, or even better directly with the hotel, and much more flexibility should you need to change or cancel your guest room reservation. Respectfully at your service. Greg Swick, Comfort Inn Midland

We were welcomed very warmly when we arrived, and check-in was easy. We were told our room was the top floor, and there was parking and entrance on the side of the hotel. It was pouring rain, so we drove to the "side" of the hotel thinking there would be an entrance half-way along the building, however there was not. The only entrances are the front and back of the hotel!

We are Choice Privileges Platinum members, and should have received a welcome gift upon check-in. We were told that because of COVID, they weren't giving them out, however you could PURCHASE small bags of chips and snacks in the lobby!?!

The room was clean, and the beds were just OK. They were pillowtop, but not as comfortable as we had hoped. There was a fridge and small microwave as well. Early evening we kept hearing loud banging. Finally we went out to investigate and found piles of sheets outside several rooms. The banging was the doors hitting the flipped safety latches.as the cleaners went in and out of the rooms. The other noise annoyance was we had a tailgate party happening right under our window on both of the nights we spent there, which was super annoying. The front desk staff were great though, and said if it continued after dark they would take care of it. The 2nd night we did have to complain, and staff did tell them to break it up.

There was hand sanitizer in the lobby, and also in the breakfast room.. There was no hot breakfast, but they did have cereal, breads, yogurt and fruit. You have to take it back to your room.

This hotel, although nothing fancy, is fine for an overnight stay.

There are no elevators at this property and no pool. It is an older building with sliding glass doors on the main floor to the parking. You can't exit or enter the room from your car parked outside your door, you have to around. It was inconvenient. It was clean but could have been better. There was thick dust on the phone that should not have been there. It was very quiet and the beds were comfy. We didn't try the bagged breakfast, we opted to go out instead. The staff were all friendly.

Beds are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is adequate, staff are courteous. But our room needed updating. The bathroom door was coming apart and the door to the room didn't close without pushing it, resulting in an annoying warning signal. Also, there was dirt along the walls of the washroom. The room needs a thorough cleaning. For the price they charge (over $200/night), they should do better.

I had just given my cc number to book two nights as it was an emergency situation. I was registering for my friend to stay. Prior to the conversation I disclosed to the dog/pet friendly hotel that my guest had one dog and one cat.

Ok, people are really nice but it smell cleaning product everywhere. Kind of old school hotel. King bed was really great. Breakfast was ok but the room is to small. I know, it's in Midland, not in New York.

Hi, Thank you for your recent Trip Advisor review. People say that I am a clean freak, and I suppose there's evidence that corroborates this statement. Our housekeepers / room attendants have been cut from the same cloth, and when you set us loose on the hotel in the morning to give it it's daily scrubbing, there's bound to be a redolence of cleaning products. Guests are raving about the new king and queen beds, and I'm glad that we spent the little extra money to get the "good stuff". It was a pleasure to have you as our guest, and I hope that you'll come back again soon. I am respectfully at your service. Greg Swick, Comfort Inn Midland 705 526 2090 front desk.

We checked-in and checked-out within a matter of 5 minutes.

Room was NOT clean. There were stains on the bed sheets & pillows. There was hair on the sheets. There was some disgusting crap on the bathroom wall. Toilet bowl was disgusting - need to be replaced.

This motel is run-down and old. It needs a HUGE renovation and staff members who care about their guests.

Stay at Midland Inn & Suites - it's like night and day.

Just what one would expect of a good motel chain. Comfortable, clean room with good Wi-Fi. Sadly, the bath plug was broken and the bath drain partially blocked so the shower water only drained away slowly. Also, the plug in the bathroom sink did not close. These last two maintenance items let the room down.

Breakfast the next morning was good and what one would expect.

The bus goes downtown and the hotel is on Highway 12 at the edge of town. It’s about 7 min. by car. Perhaps the bus driver could drop you off as he makes his turn into town.
