Detailed Reviews
The rooms were spaciously arranged with 2 good sized bedrooms, washrooms and kitchenette (full size fridge). There isn't much in the area, but if you have a set of wheels it's great value. Light continental breakfast included in the rate. 3rd floor renovated in 2015. 2nd floor currently being renovated (2016). 1st floor to be renovated soon. Our group was happy.

For $70 a night, it's a great deal. The cheapest local hotel that I could find for the same timeframe was $130. Each suite comes with two bedrooms and includes a shared kitchenette. The room we stayed in this trip was newly renovated, but from previous trips, some are also well used. Be prepared. This is not luxury, but for the price it is good. As a bonus it is close to Wonderland for the kids, and it also includes a small continental breakfast.

It's a great place to stay if you aren't looking for luxury.
We have stayed here on numerous occasions and have always been satisfied. The location it relatively convenient and the accommodations are reasonably priced and clean. The continental breakfast is pretty basic but it's nice that it's included with your stay. (They offer bagels, toast, muffins, cereal, coffee / tea, etc.)
The property was getting a face lift when we were there in June but we didn't find the construction to be disruptive at all. (It will be interesting to see the outcome when we return this summer.)

I'm rating this place as a residence because I feel it's my duty to warn parents not to send their kids here..
The only good thing about living in this residence is the fact that it is on campus. Even that does not make it worth it.
For what works out to $800 a month, the only amenities available are a pool table, fooseball table, and a couple of TV's. There are only four washers and dryers available at any given time, they are frequently broken, and you have to pay for them for each use. In the communal kitchen there are only two ovens which are almost always in use.
This place rips you off at every opportunity. If you accidentally leave your key card in your room, you are charged $5 per lockout key, even if you return it within five minutes. There is no discount for parking which is $430 a semester, even though there is plenty of available parking most of the time. On top of this, the place is filthy. The vents in the bedrooms are black with dust, carpets are stained, and there have been bedbug outbreaks on numerous occasions. Cleaning staff consists of 2-3 people, MAYBE twice a week. I recall one time when someone vomited in the hallway and it was not cleaned for 2 months. No exaggeration.
If you are unfortunate enough to get a room with an old mattress in it, prepare to be disgusted. They are springy and uncomfortable and stained, and management will do nothing more than suggest you buy memory foam.
I could go on and on. DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE. Do not even stay here as a discounted hotel. It is gross.

Had a room that overlooked the patio, there was a large group out partying loudly on the patio and when I went down to complain to the staff they told me there was nothing they could do about it. People were out on the patio until after 1 talking loudly and shouting. Got next to no sleep and the staff were not the least bit concerned.

This facility is poorly managed, extremely dirty and run down. Stayed there a few nights with the family for a sports tournament. The stay was awful; with the cheap summertime room rates my expectations were not high going in. However, was not prepared for the the lack of basic cleanliness on windows, floors, carpets, etc. On the last day, my shoes literally would stick and slick down the tiled hallway from grim and dirt starting to congealing in the humidity. Disgusting...

My family and I stayed at Seneca Residence King City while vacationing in Ontario June 26 to July 2. This place is fantastic for the price. Our room had 2 bedrooms with full size beds, bathroom with a shower and a kitchenette (fullsize fridge and microwave small table with 2 chairs). Each bedroom had a small tv.
Rooms were clean upon arrival. Throught out our stay clean towels were exchange everyday and beds were made.
Front staff were always helpful and friendly.
We didn't find the location that bad at all. It very close to Vaughn, Canada's Wonderland and lots of restaurants.
This was our first time staying at a residence and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Beautiful, clean accommodations. Full size refrigerator, microwave and sink make the kitchenette very useful. Free bagels, cereal and coffee were also offered every morning. The front desk staff are extremely helpful with not only information, but printing directions and schedules. The hotel is within 10 minutes of a free GoTransit lot, which made catching the train into Toronto very convenient. All in all, a great choice if you want to visit the Toronto Area.

i spent two very quiet nights enjoying the meeting and sport facilities, all excellent. the service was excellent and employees friendly and professional. i did not have a change to enjoy the extensive grounds, but it should be a treat to do so in good weather. the rooms are a bit tired (in particular the tv and carpets), but clean, large and extremely quiet. i much enjoyed my stay.

Stayed here this past weekend while heading up to Innisfil, Ont. To watch a race and Canada's Wonderland the following day.
found this residence that rents out small extended stay apartments via online hotel app. It was the cheapest place to stay that I could find and it was pretty good and quiet.
It was a little hard to find at first cause I wasn't expecting it to be right on the Seneca Campus, the staff was really friendly and helpful upon checking in, you can tell the place is going through some renovations, so that's why I gave it a 3 star. We had a very outdated 2 bedroom dorm room with its own kitchen, 2 televisions and 2 double beds. I will gladly stay here again, hopefully when the renovations are done so I can rate this place higher, cause it has potential.

Hi Cathy, thank you for reaching out.
The last available check-in date is August 23rd, or rates are based off availability, we don't offer a weekday or weekend rate so to speak. All rates and availability can be found on our website, which unfortunately TripAdvisor does not allow me to reference.
We hope to see you in King City in August!
Kind Regards,
Shaun Freeman
Operations Manager
Thanks for asking Cathy, and thank you to those who answered.
There's a variety of places and different kinds of food that will deliver - in King City itself (a 5-min drive) Coppa's as David has mentioned is a popular choice, or in nearby Aurora/Newmarket (around a 15 minute drive) there's a much wider choice of different kinds of restaurants, depending on what you're looking for.
Your best bet is to describe to the front desk what kind of food you're looking for on the day of, and they'll be happy to point you in the right direction.
We hope to see you soon!
Kind Regards,
Shaun Freeman - Residence Services Manager
