Have stayed here a few times and the last two were one in July and one in September of this year. This hotel is located in Fundy National Park and is close to 3 of the campgrounds. Lots to do with trails, a golf course, swimming pool and other planned activities as part of the park experience. There is no pool at motel but park pool is not far. You can visit the village of Alma which is just outside park entrance and has lots of places to eat as well as a couple of lobster shops and an excellent bakery. I stayed in motel part which had a bed, a bunk bed, kitchen with fridge and 2 burner stove and all the dishes and pots to do your own cooking. It is a 2 storey building and would recommend you ask for the ground floor if you have mobility issues as no elevator. The view of the Bay of Fundy is wonderful. The couple who run this motel are super nice and very helpful. The motel is clean and any problem or questions you have are responded to very quickly. I have stayed here a few times and stayed twice this summer and would highly recommend staying here. I stay here to be close to family and friends who stay at one of campgrounds close by. Added a few photos taken with phone and I am no photographer.

We were camping in Fundy National Park and needed to find a place to stay when we were informed Thursday afternoon that the park would be closing Friday due to the approaching Hurricane Lee. We called Fundy Highlands and were relieved to find they planned to stay open and were more than happy to accommodate us. I spoke with a man (I’m assuming was one of the owners, Pierre) and he was so friendly and sensitive to our situation and assured me we could come any time Friday and they would be sure to have a room ready for us. As it turned out Friday was a beautiful day and we stayed out to enjoy it until early evening. When we checked in the woman at the desk (who I assume was the other owner, Anne-Marie) was so friendly and said that although they had flipped all the picnic tables and taken in the outdoor chairs in preparation for the storm, they had left ours so we could enjoy the nice evening outside and they would come by later to flip the table and take in the chairs. Such a thoughtful gesture!
The room is an efficiency unit and was perfect for our needs. We were able to cook, keep our cold items refrigerated and just relax while we rode out the storm in safety and comfort. The room was spotless, spacious and the beds were comfortable. We were so grateful to have this space and would highly recommend this motel ! The location is beautiful with amazing views of the Bay of Fundy and lovely spacious grounds,

We were celebrating two special family events and wanted a place where we could all meet and enjoy the outdoors. Starting with
coordinating three families' accommodations to activities and restaurant suggestions throughout our stay, Anne-Marie and Pierre were very helpful, friendly and accommodating. The chalets were very cozy and comfortable. The location had easy access to the park and the town of Alma - which has some great restaurants.
Thank you and we will definitely be back! Bev and Ron

We came to Fundy Highlands as a referral from another lodging at which we inquired and had had no vacancy. It was certainly a good referral, we enjoyed our 2 nights with them, place was clean enough and met our basic needs for the stay. Stayed in the motel part of the property, which is inside the Fundy National Park itself, and within 5 min driving distance to the town business area. The one downside is the washroom is quite small, beware you tall/average-sized guests. I’m short and small-built but I found it small (I’m also slightly claustrophobic). But the shower will probably be problematic for people average-sized or larger. Note, masks required inside the office.

Love this cozy little motel! Has all the basics for making simple meals, small fridge, stove top ( no oven) and good selection of dishes, cutlery , pots and fry pan.
The queen (?) bed was comfy and my 2 friends were content in the bunks. All close to the 3 piece bathroom. The end room we had had a door on each side of the room allowing for excellent air movement. The ‘front’ door leads out to a patio area with a sturdy picnic table and lawn chairs on an expansive mowed hillside field overlooking the Bay of Fundy. We enjoyed watching the deer grazing at tree line on the bottom of the lawn in addition to the spectacular view.
The humidity was high during our visit and the floor required towelling as the condensation made it slippery.
It was a return visit for Lorrie who had previously visited with her grandchildren and it will definitely warrant a return visit from me!
The host was friendly and helpful!

Checked in here on Friday during the day. Staff members were very friendly during the entire time. Very welcoming as well!

We rented a small chalet which dates back in the 1940’s. We took a 2 double beds cottage which had everything we needed to get by (pots, pans, utensiles, etc.).

My only complaint was that the beds were a bit hard, but we did just fine at the end.

I would highly recommend these cottages to anyone looking to rent some.

My wife and I recently stayed in a one-bedroom chalet. Management supplied picture is consistent with current condition. Location was great with easy access to all of the trails and activities within Fundy National Park. Chalets are nicely spaced to give a feeling of privacy. I'd describe the chalet as rustic with a definite cozy charm. It was a little older, but well maintained and everything functioned as intended. Kitchenette includes all you need to prepare meals. If you want to dine out there are several restaurants a 5 minutes' drive away in Alma. This was the nicest cabin that I've stayed in within a national park.

The motel is about 3k from Alma but it’s not really feasible to walk. We had an upper level room. It was well set out with loads of space. The motel must be several years old but it’s clean and well maintained. Not sure how many coats of paint has been put on the cupboards though.
It’s a clean, green space and no noise from the road.
We’d be happy to stay gain.
We had a good meal in Alma (hesitate to call it a town) at Octopus Garden (Ringo would have loved it).
Staff were very helpful about recommending hikes.

Nice and quite chalet. Super close to Alma and everything else. Only downside is that this place is a little hard to find especially if you are driving from Fundy Trail Parkway. If your GPS is telling you to drive down Shepody Road DON’T DO IT ! There’s a stretch that’s under construction so the detour leads you down a gravel road that’s full of dips and holes and it seemed to be only ATVs and off road vehicles driving around there. And your gps will try to lead you down different detours along that stretch, don’t follow them unless you plan on doing some off roading and rock crawling. Besides the crazy trip to get there, we really enjoyed our stay ! Would definitely recommend it to people !

Thanks again Anne-Marie and Pierre for a fabulous visit!
Your accommodations are always first rate and never disappoint. My friends, who stayed here for their first visit, will surely return.
I am grateful that I was able to visit Fundy National Park for my 30th consecutive year....it really is my favorite place.
As always, save me a spot for 2021...I will return!
Both of you and your staff are doing a great job in keeping us safe during this unfortunate time with Covid-19. Thanks!

Not really. You have to walk maybe a km down the road you came in and get down to the water and even then you would need to walk further to the beach. I don't know that there are any closer accommodations though.
