Nestled near the iconic Eiffel Tower, the Mercure Paris Centre Eiffel Tower Hotel garners praise for its central location and amiable staff. However, guests have had mixed experiences, with some citing housekeeping and room service issues. While the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the hotel are commended, a few travelers have suggested that the rooms, which can be overly warm due to air conditioning problems, might benefit from modernization. Amenities receive mixed reviews, and the value proposition is often questioned, as some guests feel the prices for rooms and breakfast do not match the offerings.

This hotel is in a great location close to the Eiffel Tower. It only took us about 5 to 10 minutes to walk to it. The first bus stop for the Hop on Hop Off Bus is also only a few minutes walk from the hotel. Our room was very clean and the staff was helpful and friendly. I recommend getting a room facing the Eiffel Tower for awesome views during the day and at night. I also appreciate having the toilet in a separate room than the shower and sink. We booked a Disneyland ticket and shuttle package through Disney and the pickup and drop off location for the shuttle was right in front of the hotel which was also very convenient.

Unlike its neighbour the Pullman, one is not greeted with a cheerful smile from the moment one steps into this Mercure. One is made to wait till two people check out one of whom had been after us in the queue. Greetings have not been warm and effusive as at the Pullman where we went in to check out the competition.at the Pullman everyone says bonjour to you, asking how you are and how they may be of service.

However cleaning staff have been honest and cheerful. And have kept the room very clean. Pity the mattress is in dire need of replacement- one can feel the springs and it is bouncy not supportive.
Breakfast is not lavish but decent selection of hot and cold dishes. The lady who guards the entry of the breakfast room looking at who goes into breakfast looks fiercely at punters making sure we all pay before eating. However she is observant and cheerful in her own way. She has been making me practice my French bit by bit each day by taking longer and longer before she switches from French to English.

Today the receptionist finally recognised me after three nights here and passed over three tickets.
The breakfast buffet is decent and represents better value than eating breakfast in one of the nearby cafes if one means to eat like a king for breakfast so as to avoid lunch. Hot items include a soup and scrambled eggs and sausages. Good range of cereals, fruit and yoghurt. Croissants and pain au chocolate l, multi grain loaf and sliced bread and a range of jams and charcuterie items. Just watch out for the boiled eggs. Husband thought some of the eggs had been cracked purposely to help people peel the shells. The cracked eggs are the rotten ones. Get one without a crack anywhere!

Staff took three days to warm up. As tarif is less than the Pullman I can live with restraint initially and hope they warm up faster for your visit.

A great spot to stay in and take in Paris sights. My friend booked this on Last minute. Com as part of a package deal and it didn’t disappoint. The Eiffel Tower can be seen from the hotel entrance . We were also able to book our visit to the attraction in the hotel lobby . However the option to go to the very top of the tower was not availed online and we were advised that it often sells out quicker online and a trip to the very top is best booked at the Booking office. The room was quite small. We asked for twin beds and there was not a millimetre between them. The decor was lovely . Our view was not of the Eiffel Tower but we didn’t mind . The welcome pack was one single bottle of water and a variety of teas . Paper cups (2 each) were provided for the water and the bathroom. It would have been nice for these and the water to be replenished. The toilet was tiny but the bathroom was adequate with a great power shower and light up mirror. The tv channels were limited. The foyer area was cosy and the staff were polite and helpful. I didn’t have the food as I preferred to eat out but there were a lot of good places to eat within walking distance. Great location for exploring Paris.

The hotel was located in a great area! Right next to the Eiffel Tower and tour buses, which took you around the city! We used the Bird app for the electric scooters, which was a brilliant idea then spending lots of money on taxi’s and sitting in traffic.
The hotel staff were pleasant, & the reception area was clean with computers/bar area upstairs! Slightly pricey but Paris was. We had Vodka & Rum with a mixer - £21 euros. Breakfast had a nice selection, pancakes, eggs/bacon/saus, croissants & toast, cheeses.

The only downside was the double room we paid for- It was dirty, the carpet wasn’t hoovered properly/paint coming off walls and mould around the bath. I spoke to reception staff & they kindly upgraded us for free, and apologised! We got a junior suite (But please don’t pay for this, as they are identical to the double rooms except comes with a stereo & unlimited drinks in the mini fridge) because the staff were so nice we were able to forget about it and continue our holiday :)

Area- a few cafe’s/restaurants around, but not many shops. No supermarkets were open after 10pm. However we used google maps and walked to the shops which was 10/15 mins away from the hotel! Pharmacies everywhere so there will always be supplies are needed. Taxi rank right outside the hotel which was perfect if you did want to travel anywhere. Hotel is located roughly 50 minutes from CDG airport.

*Eiffel tower summit closed during winter months and will only go to second floor. Also do not buy the tour bus at the hotel as the bus were offering €24 euros pp, & the hotel charged us €74 !! We did not realise this until we brought them. :(

I am delighted to notice that in the whole you are satisfy of your stay and that our location, our services with the breakfast, the effectiveness of our staff met your expectations. Regarding your observation about the condition of the room, I inform you that we are conscious tha the hotel is aged that's why with the housekeeping and the technical service from January, we are setting up actions to repair the rooms and make them fresh while waiting for the renovations planned for the end of the year. I hope that we will have the pleasure to welcome you in the future to provide you a great experience from beginning to end. Sincerely,

We stayed at the Mercure for Valentines weekend and had a great stay. Check in was very quick, we upgraded to a junior suite for free and hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. It was easy to park your car in the car park at 28 euros per day. The hotel is in a great location; we were able to walk to the Eiffel Tower and to the Seine in minutes. Room was very clean, bathroom was great and we had a nice view of the Eiffel Tower from our 8th floor room. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would like to say a big thank you to the staff for being so welcoming.

We stayed 2 nights at this hotel. After the first night, when we came back to the room after our morning excursion, we realized the housekeeping didn’t replace the toilet paper. So we called the reception and told them we need 2 toilet paper rolls. When the housekeeping and the plumber came, he tried to give 1 toilet paper roll until we got angry, at which point we got the 2 toilet paper rolls. While we were at breakfast on the day of checkout. There was this notice put up near the elevator saying that there is a tv replacement done in every room and that we must let them in… WTF??? We were already checking out that morning, but when we were at breakfast, they came into our rooms despite us putting a privacy please tag on the door… NO PRIVACY at all.
This hotel experience is like going back to when China first opened up, and the hotels have no privacy at all. But this is France…

We spent two nights at this hotel and it was perfect. The rooms were very clean including the toilet and bathroom. The rooms sizes (adjoining) were good and could accommodate 2 adults and two children aged 8 and 4. Room service was wonderful- food arrived quickly, was tasty and hot. Location is excellent- a couple of minutes away from Eiffel Tower. All staff from reception staff, restaurant staff and facilities were friendly, professional and approachable.
Breakfast had a good choice- continental, cereal, fruits, sausages, eggs.

This hotel is just down the street from the Eiffel Tower. It is a 5 minute stroll. It is also a quick walk to the metro and many restaurants and a market. Staff here was nice, friendly, and helpful. A bottle of water was complimentary in the small fridge on the first night . Breakfast had a nice coffee and tea selection, as well as yogurt, meats, cheese, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, and pancakes. Orange and apple juice were also available. Food was fine (nothing to write home about, but a good way to start the day) and service in restaurant was good. The room was smaller than some, but room to walk around the bed and a suitcase stand as well as a small seating area. A hairdryer and coffee station were available as was a safe. We stayed during COVID and felt the hotel did a nice job cleaning. They required masks in public areas and recommended 2 people in the elevator at a time, but elevators were often at normal capacity. It was a pleasant stay overall.

We had a short stay in this Mercure before we transit to regional France. I always wanted to stay next to Eiffel tower for a night so we booked this Mercure because it has reasonable price compare to all the other hotels nearby, it looks close to the tower and it advertised as “tower view”.

I wasn’t expecting too much because the photo on accor’s website was terrible.

The room was not impressive I have to say. Room was outdated and small, the bathroom door has marks everywhere and the hall way is narrow and dark.

However, what make this short stay memorable is the service we got.

Before we arrived, we got a email from the hotel, asking us the purpose of this stay. We were travel for honeymoon and we just ticked that box (yes they have this as one of the drop down list for purpose).

When we arrived, the front desk gave us this cheeky smile and said she allocated a nice room for us and we would love the view.

We got upgraded to a high floor room and have lovely swans with a welcome gift waiting for us :) surprising!

The view outside the window, is the giant Eiffel Tower. The tower located literally just around the corner. Next to this Mercure is the Pullman (also part of Accor), which has much higher price. amazing view at night as you can see the lighted up tower right next to your bed!!!!

The hotel reception also able to book tours and major attraction tickets and the price is slightly cheaper than outside. Some cute souvenirs were also selling here. This is another nice lovely service this Mercure has offered.

One things I noticed was the privilege room we stayed used the Luxe as the amenities, which is a fairly good French brand.

For its location and the service, I would highly recommend this place as they know how to make your stay special

Hotel is ideally located about a 5 minute walk from Metro Station. You can take the train from CDG to Denfert Rocherau and get metro to Bin Hekeim metro stop, from Airport to hotel about 70 minutes.

On arrival, check in was a breeze, all hotel staff were extremely nice and accommodating.

I paid for the Privilege room and also paid an additional €40/night for a view of the Eiffel Tower from the room. The room itself while small had everything you needed for a trip to Paris, you don't come to Paris to spend time in your room, you go there to see the sights and take in the city.

Slightly strange set up having a toilet on its own in tiny room with a door and then a separate shower/sink room, has its pros (use of toilet and shower by two different people) and cons (no sink to wash hand before opening toilet door). Beds were very comfy but not that big, someone of 6 foot possibly would be sticking out the end of the best I would imagine. Few small things which were not satisfactory (although didnt bother us too much as we didnt spend a whole lot of time in the room) is the Television didnt work, coffee for coffee machine was not replaces, the free minibar contained five items, orange juice, coke, diet coke, water and sparkling water. Nice touch but not as full as I would have expected. And only one set of bathrobe and slipper even though two guests in the room. Also the view off the Eiffel Tower was only the top half really, wasn't worth the extra money for that.

Overall, slightly overpriced (Paid for privilege room, but was very basic). The rooms very relatively clean, staff were very nice, breakfast was lovely and the location couldn't have been better. Would I recommend it, yes indeed, it's Paris, therefore all about the location. If you are spending all your time in the room here, then you are on the wrong trip.

Hello, I traveled in January so the AC was not an an issue, they do have AC in the rooms. They offer Queen Size beds not sure if they offer King Size as well. Unfortunately this hotel is not one I will recommend, it’s not clean, the facilities are not kept clean. We had to use the restroom in the lobby and it wasn’t clean. If you are able to book at another hotel I would recommend you do. Rooms are not big and they are outdated.
