Be prepared to be seeking your own replacement towels/linens and simple items such as toilet paper. Once we refused our "member update", our orientation was the concierge taking us to the side of the building and pointing to an ally saying our room was at the end. There was no information in the room about resort and expectations. There was no information provided about activities. There were several nights we could not sleep due to loud parties at the pool and people next to us being very loud through thin walls. (well after midnight). We actually left two days early. The Spa and Restaurant were closed while we were there making it even less enjoyable. The pools and the beach were nice. The bar tender at the Tiki hut was very nice.

I stayed the first week of opening after Covid19 I am a Wyndham owner with this being my first stay at this resort Many things are in place along with activities shut down. There are 4 pools with only one open. You have to sign up for slot a head of time. I felt like this was not a productive way since many people did not show up during their time slot which could have been allocated to other guests using a first come first serve process The Tiki bar and all other activities expected were not provided ( I expected this due to Covid19). Due to small crowd and limited activities, we were able to mingle and make friends with other guests ( social distancing ). The property has beach access with 1 of the buildings sitting on beach side. Across the road there was three other buildings. The road going over the beach side was easy to cross with a light/walkway . Walking distance to pier and Hillsboro lighthouse ( 30 min walk). We stayed in a 2 bedroom lockout in Waterfall suite for 3 people It was 2 Studios (A-B UNITS) which meet our needs, but I would not have cared for this if we had more than 4 people. I enjoyed the shaded patio which overlooked the garden after spending time in sun.

My kids recently visited this hotel on Friday 10th. They had a sleepover with some friends. One of my daughter earrings broke and she placed the earrings in the drawer in the bedroom. That Sunday when it was time for checkout my daughter FORGOT the earrings in the drawer. When I came home that night my daughter told me she forgot the earrings at the hotel in the drawer. I immediately called the hotel and reported the earrings. A guy at the front desk took my information down and told me they would get back to me and contact housekeeping. Days has passed and no one called about my daughter's earrings. It's now Wednesday afternoon I called again and spoke to Mareen she asked me the samething for my information and called me right back and told me housekeeping did not find anything I told Mareen of course they not going to find anything its Wednesday. She apologized. I wanted to speak to management. Mareen transferred me to Marie I explained to Marie and yet Marie couldn't help me either. The easiest thing Marie could of told me was about the policy about lost and found and if housekeeping found any earrings they would of put it in lost and found for 30 days. She didn't even try to research who cleaned that room that day or nothing all Marie told me was she is apologize and if it was found housekeeping would or reported it to lost n found. Im soooo pissed because those earrings was giving to my daughter from the great grandmother and now it's gone. I was planning to visit this hotel but I guess I will pass. So much for the generosity of customers. No one responded right away to my lost n found but I had to call them back. No one took the time the very first time when I called. Mareen told me it wasn't even note in the system that I called hours after my daughter left the hotel😡😡

We are Worldmark owners. While taking advantage of some cheap airline tickets, we spotted a one bedroom deluxe that was available for bonus time, which ended up only costing us about $80 a night for the weekend.
We were given a room in the tall building located in the back of the resort, facing the canal rather than the ocean. Although we would have loved to have an ocean view, we knew ahead of time that the majority of the rooms in the resort did not have an ocean view. Regardless, the room was beautiful, probably one of the best Worldmark Vacation Club rooms that I’ve ever stayed in. It was large and roomy, had a jacuzzi in the bedroom, and a full-size washer and dryer.
There are also 3 pools and 2 hot tubs at this resort (but unfortunately, no kiddie pools), and the beach was just a short walk across the street. With all the plants in the middle of the resort, I did manage to get a few mosquito bites, so be sure to bring some bug repellent if you don’t want to get bit. I didn’t have a problem with mosquitoes in the pool areas, but there is one hot tub located in the middle of the resort where I got bit.
The resort was pretty quiet, sometimes we even had the whole pool to ourselves. The beach was pretty quiet as well. I’m guessing this is due to it being hurricane season and the kids being back in school.
To no surprise, we were asked to attend a presentation at a different Wyndham resort, but we declined and didn’t feel pressured to go.
I should also mention that we came in on an early flight, and did not expect to get our room until regular check in time, but they had housekeeping work on our room immediately after the prior guests checked out, so we were able to get it a little after 12:00. This of course made us extremely happy, as we were exhausted from the early morning flight! We felt like they really cared for us.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom at the Key West Building and the building customer service person (Kim) was helpful and nice. The unit was spacious, clean and looked to be recently updated. It was a short walk (5 minutes) to the beach. We tried 3 of the 4 pools in the complex, all are well kept. The Tiki bar at the main pool is a nice touch and there was some live entertainment on one of the nights. Access to the beach was easy but you have to rent chairs and umbrellas as the resort doesn't supply them on the beach. About a half mile walk to the Pier at Pompano Beach where there are restaurants, retail and you can even fish off the pier.

We really enjoyed the location, the pools, tiki bar, pretty much everything BUT our sudio was connected to another unit and we could literally hear our neighbors, our sleep was based on their sleep, which is no fun. I did try moving us twice but the resort did not have any other rooms and they did not offer to move us to another resort, was disappointed in that. We also tried calling RCI twice, once we waited 20 min and another day 55 min. This was a last minute trip and I did not do my research, lesson learned.

We stayed in the Studio Deluxe. The building is dated but the rooms are upgraded, clean and spacious. Was not fond of the tiny balcony. The TV’s are large and new, the bathrooms are spacious too. However, only one pool is open (the one near the main office building) because of COVID-19 limitations and you do have to make appointments to go. Tiki bar closed. We stayed in the building closest to the beach but all of the rooms are facing the pool so we did not necessarily have “ocean view” like they claimed at Check-In. The front desk staff are extremely nice and professional.

The resort is very nice and clean. Plenty of pools to share and a great beach with possible rental of cabanas and water sports. Unfortunately, it appears the management of this resort needs to learn that customer service is important. First, we were charged for the whole week even though we told them we had to leave a day early due to flight changes. We were told that the extra day would be taken off at check out- NOPE! Then my credit card was denied due to the clerk's error- no apology. Next, the concierges openly fought about who would give us our room key and explain the "extras" we could get by attending a meeting, which they never got to since by the time we got our key, they had forgotten about their sales! Beware, since we booked through Booking.com, apparently we actually booked through a 3rd party. I have spoken to Wyndham, Booking.com, and Extra Holidays about canceling our last night and only got the runaround about which party should honor this- No party did! Also, there was no explanation of cleaning services. If I had not stayed with a Wyndham member before, I would have not known that your room is not cleaned daily and you must call for towel service, etc. We did get very good service from Wyndham when we did request anything for our room. I'm sure that these difficulties happened since this was a third party rental, but this was very disappointing.

We just returned from a great week at Sea Gardens. We stayed in a studio unit in the Ocean View section on the beach side. The studio units are like a motel room but they do have a small kitchen, and the North side building has a small washer/dryer. The units are not fancy but we found it completely adequate for our needs. We do not go to a Beach resort to spend time in our room! The Ocean View section has an unheated pool and a walkway directly to the beach. Watching the sun rise on the beach was amazing! Most of the resort is across the road, including a larger heated pool and the Tiki Bar. There was random entertainment including a couple days of Bingo in the afternoon and a few nights of live music.
We did not rent a car and found that we were fine without one. There are several restaurants within walking distance (1/2 mile to a mile). The Seaside Grill, Lucky Fish, Carlucci's, Flanigan's (their ribs were amazing!), Razzleberries for ice cream ... we had no trouble finding great places to eat. If you aren't up for walking, Pompano Beach also has an electric golf cart called the Circuit that runs a route up and down A1A and to the Publix grocery store. You just download the Circuit app and then can request a ride anywhere inside their area. The ride is free of charge, the drivers are paid by tips. We used this a few times and found all the drivers friendly and the app easy to use. We also used the Insta-cart app for an initial grocery delivery. It was awesome to sit at the pool our first afternoon there and do our grocery shopping rather than spend time in the grocery store!
We very much enjoyed our time in Pompano Beach and the Sea Gardens resort. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and we had a wonderful week.

We took an Uber from the airport, and mostly either just walked or took the Circuit to get around. Circuit is free to use, you just have to download the app. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. You can walk to the Pier. We took the Circuit to Publix. We did use Uber once in Pompano because the Circuit had a 30 minute wait, but the Uber also took a while to get to us since it started off on the other side of the draw bridge.
I stayed at the Sea Gardens. It has multiple buildings on site. The Ocean View is on Ocean side with a pool on that side. The other buildings are across rhe street. There is a pedestrian stop light to cross the street. We stayed in the Waterfall 2 bedroom lockout ( one room similar to hotel room while other is similar to suite hotel room) which wasn't a real 2 bedroom. The rooms are smaller in this building but garden overlook balconies which helped to enjoy hot Florida summer afternoons. The plus of the place is beautiful garden on site, walking distance to pier and lighthouse, and beach access.
There are more places to choose from in the Pompano Beach area.
