this was our 3rd stay at the LaFlora in Miami Beach. we enjoy this hotel for several reasons. the price is always reasonable. this trip we got a suite for $135/night before taxes. the suite is very spacious, with a separate room where the couch, tv, refrigerator, and 2nd closet is located(and is in-between the bedroom and bathroom). it doubles the space to 350(?) sq. ft. the room was super clean with 2 queen beds. large hdtv, probably 45 inches that sits on the suite room wall; that you can see from either bed thru the wide double door way that separates suite room from bedroom. bed were comfortable with plenty of pillows. bathroom had a combo tub/shower, that was in great shape. the laflora has alot of old miami beach charm with terrazo floors in lobby, front porch with seats to watch the always interesting miami beach goers. you can smoke on porch also. the location is our favorite because ocean drive is a block east and washington ave. which has lots of popular priced restaurants is a block west. lincoln road is only 1/2 mile, 12-15 minute walk to the north. staff is professional and friendly. they helped with some printing i needed done. we slept-in most days, so unknown if anything available for breakfast during covid. we look forward to returning to the laflora. ****of note*** laflora has no swimming pool, so if you have kids this may be a dealbreaker.

The hotel’s location is in an ideal location in south beach and though the room was a nice size and guest services were very nice you can’t overlook that hotel is run down.
The beds need to be replaced, bathroom updated, the floors were uneven, and there was an odor in the room. If you can live with those details then it’s a nice hotel.
It’s a block away from from south beach. The parking lot at corner charges $20 for 24 hours parking with in and out privileges. It’s advantages are Location, Location, Location. And good customer service.

This is a small hotel in a historic Art Deco Building. The location is perfect and the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff was friendly and accommodating and made me feel at home. Also, I felt safe here. I highly recommend La Flora if you’re looking for good accommodation that doesn’t cost a fortune in South Beach.

The hotel is in a great location, close to Ocean drive and the Beach, but set back on Collins Avenue so not amongst the noise.
The hotel is run down and currently has building work going on. There is no maid service, bar or restaurant and the staff are miserable, they make you feel like you are an inconvenience to them.
No fridges in the ground floor rooms and the coffee and sachets of milk are rationed. Seemingly Covid stops the maids emptying the bins in the room, but then all the staff on reception walk around without masks.
Generally speaking a depressing place to be.

The hotel is in a great location on Collins Avenue & a stones throw away from the beach. Whilst the hotel eludes an Art Deco presence, its in a sad state, their photos are misleading. No breakfast or bar available as its under refurb, although we never saw ANY progress. The outside terrace could be something nice to use, but run down as well. Our room was at the rear of the hotel so we were not afffected by the noise on the main street, however, during the night, "parties" take place in the car park to the side and woke us up. The room was clean, presentable & good size, was NEVER serviced during our 7 night stay. We were advised that housekeeping was not up to normal due to restrictions so we had to ask anyone we did see for clean towels & toilet roll. We left the DND sign on the door only on the last day so don't use that as an excuse! Wouldn't allow a late checkout beyond 1200 hrs. Bathrooms could do with a refurb otherwise functional. TV doesn't work, (room 303) had asked for a hair dryer took until the next day to get one, ironing board filthy. Safe too high in wardrobe for some, so watch your head as you open the wardrobe door. Fridge worked well though! Luckily there is a Walgreens not far away so we could buy our own supplies & coffee. They had signs everywhere indicating masks to be worn, but no one bothered (except us) and no one enforced this. Staff we met were polite enough but "indifferent". I don't recommend this hotel which was booked as a package deal.

We had numerous issues at the La Flora property on 12/25 in Miami Beach. We originally selected the hotel due to the good reviews online and location. We stay in Miami often (we only live 3 hours away and understand the quirkiness of South Beach properties) and booked our holiday stay back in early October. When we arrived at the hotel, of the two suites we booked, one was not available due to a maintenance issue. We were then given one suite (rm 309) and two standard rooms (305 and 307) which was not ideal for our party, but we had no other option. Upon check in we became aware that there was no television or internet service available during our stay and that the service had been out for over 2 weeks. We were offered a 10% to be reimbursed for this inconvenience, however, we experienced several other issues during our stay. Room 305 had NO heat the entire night and it was 40 degrees, so heat was needed. The staff tried to fix the thermostat, but could not. Room 309 had NO working shower. Room 307 had a terrible, squeaking bed which is so old and noisy, only a single person was able to sleep on it. There was no coffee or hairdryers in the rooms, another inconvenience (minor compared to the no heat, shower, or not getting the rooms we booked, but still an issue). Management offered us a 10% discount which we felt was disproportionate to the issues we faced while paying over $530 (holiday rate?) for two rooms for one night. Would not recommend staying here.

Fair should be fair, so the location is amazing! Walking distance to almost everything in Miami south beach. The rooms are basic, with a bed a little below average in comfort, a tv where you can log in with your own streaming services, and an overall nice bathroom.
But! There is no WI-FI in the room, even though there should be. We asked about it, and they know the WiFi is not working in the rooms, but they don’t tell you before arrival, or when you check in. There is no refund for this. Besides this, the bed is noisy, the windows dirty, the towels and bed sheets a little worn down, no regular cleaning of the room, and the coffee and tea facilities are almost not existent. We have a coffe maker in the room, but nothing for the tea, and there is no cups, glasses or teaspoons. We asked for it of course, but it could not be provided. For luggage storage they charge 5$ per suitcase.

Great location, everything is near. Comfortable and clean beds, clean bathroom, friendly staff. Wifi is working properly in the room and the beach is just 5 minutes walking distance. It was also quiet during the night and the room has air condition.

La Flora Hotel on Collins Avenue in Miami Beach is a great place to stay that has everything that you need and more. The staff here is very accommodating and makes sure that you have everything that you need. Good experience every time I have been here.

The hotels does not look anything like the pictures you see here. In real life the hotel is older and more run down than what the pictures shows. The pictures are showing furniture outside, but that doesn't exist.
I also were charged twice for the night we stayed there. First, it was withdrawn from my credit card 5 days before we arrived by Booking.com. Still, I had to pay the hotel directly when we arrived. I have contacted both the hotel and Booking. The hotel haven't replied at all, while Booking replied that they would contact the hotel. I haven't heard anything more after 6 days.
I also had to pay 5 USD per suitcase for storing our suitcases for 2 hours after checking out. So, in total I have paid 420 USD for one night.
The only good thing about this hotel is the location

Hi, we were not disturbed by anyone in the hotel but the hotel is situated in a generally busy area so it was just outside noises that we could hear. To be honest, Miami is a lively place so I think it would be hard to find a quiet hotel. The room and staff were so nice though and it is in a good location.

there are two ways you can choose, one is hotel parking, the parking fee I remember it was $30/day, but we arrived there it was almost 22:00pm, so we parked on the hotel parking lot it cost $8 and the next morning we moved our car to the public parking building which is just opposite of the road, the park fee is $1/ each hour. hope my answer can help you.
