The two top reasons I was pleased with this hotel were 1) the location (walking distance to downtown Palm Springs) and 2) the free loaner city bikes. It’s great to be able to walk the 15 minutes to restaurants and shopping. And people out walking the neighborhood, often with their dogs, were very friendly. I rode a loaner bike for two hours each day and got a good feel for the town of Palm Springs. Drivers were considerate of bikers and many/most streets had a bike lane or signs indicating that bikes could use an entire traffic lane. There are also a couple of signed bike loops, which are generally well marked, but I did lose them a couple times and had to double back.

Other nice aspects of the hotel included an updated, clean room and a quiet location. I stayed in one of the smallest units, which was an efficiency with a fridge, microwave, and two burners. I loved having a semi-secluded patio with a table and chairs where I could enjoy my morning coffee. The pools were on the small side (not a huge Orlando type pool), but there were more than one, including an adult pool with a nice view. Unlike some other properties, the hot tubs were open, which were nice to visit in the evening.

My only admittedly minor complaints were 1) there was no ramp to the front entrance for check in and 2) the front desk had no hard copy maps for giving directions. I lugged my suitcase up the stairs and into the lobby, only to find out I’d have to lug it back down the stairs and across the street to my unit. There should really be a sign telling guests who don’t park in the garage that they can roll their luggage through the garage to an elevator to avoid the stairs. The gentleman at the front desk offered to carry my bag back down the stairs, but that still doesn’t avoid the initial problem of getting it into the lobby. Regarding the directions, I asked for directions to hiking trailheads and a grocery store and was given verbal directions that were hard to follow and was told they didn’t have a paper tourist map. Sounds old-school, but I like having a paper map. The two remotes were not self-explanatory, so I gave up on watching TV because I couldn’t find how to turn on the closed captioning. There is shampoo and lotion in the bathroom, but no conditioner. Lastly, be forewarned that you only get a coffee starter pack regardless of the number of nights of your stay, so you might need to buy more from the hotel or elsewhere.

I did not visit the restaurant or tennis courts. The restaurant seemed quite popular, with the valets quite busy.

All in all, I would stay here again and would recommend it to friends.

We often have dinner at Spenser's, which is located in the Club, but we stayed at the Tennis Club hotel for the first time and we could'n have been more delighted by the choice. The location is literally few blocks off downtown Palm Springs, the rooms are really spacious and the whole property is spotless. This is a great value for the money.

Check in was great, front desk professional and helpful. A map was given. We used the BBQ grill, and two of the (3) pools were clean and beautiful even had pool toys around to use if we wanted. Ice machines available all over the resort. Assigned parking was convenient right next to our room. Kitchen was fully stocked with supplies and we cooked 3 out of 4 days we were there. Grocery stores and restaurants nearby. House keeping doesn’t come on 3 night stays so FYI you’ll have to ask for fresh towels. Cleaning wasn’t a problem because dishwasher soap, brooms and trash cans weee available for usage in our room. They have tennis courts but we didn’t use them. Their jacuzzis were good temperature very relaxing after a long bike ride exploring the city( free bike rentals at the front desk) were wonderful!. We will definitely come back next April! Even the weather was perfect not too Hot 75-85 degrees 👌

My room wasn't ready until 5 pm when check in was suppose to be at 3 pm. On the checkout day I asked for a later check out but was turned down and had to leave by 11am. I had requested a room away from the tennis courts but was given a room on the tennis courts and was noisy. The staff has no training in hospitality and seem just like a clerk in any business. I stayed there for four days and didn't get a single room cleaning service, their reply is because of Covid we don't enter rooms but they pack over 100 people into their restaurant without a mask. I travel frequently and don't have room service issues anywhere else. They told me to put the dirty sheets and towels and trash can outside of my door and someone will empty the trash and give me new towels, but it didn't happen because they forgot to tell me I have to call the housekeeping to come and get it and they had already left for the day. I had to reuse the dirty sheets.

We spent a week there and enjoyed every minute. The kitchen is very well appointed with everything you need for cooking in. Also, there is a BBQ grill usually just steps away. They have free washers and dryers which was very convenient and a nice perk. The housekeeping staff is great! Everything was always fresh and clean. We enjoyed the spa,
It is the perfect location in Palm Springs because you can walk to everything. We will definitely come back!

We stayed in a spacious bungalow, a few steps from our assigned parking spot. The unit had a good size living area ( with pull out bed) separate from the main bedroom with a king bed. It was decorated in cool tones, with modern furniture, wood shutters and had a fully equipped kitchen, with a full-size refrigerator.

The location is ideal, located a few minutes' walk from many wonderful restaurants!
The pool was close , very clean and well maintained, with a separate heated spa area, and many lounge chairs with thick, comfy padding.
Ice machines are close, and there is a laundry facility (no charge) in the main building, so that long term stays are easily possible.

The check in process was prompt, and easy.
Fantastic hiking is just a few steps away... the scenery is breathtaking.
This is a place that that would be delightful to return to!

Upon arrival, the evening desk clerk cried to us about working two full-time jobs. He also took his sweet time in completing our registration. He didn't inform us that that the resort's "Spencer's" restaurant was closed when we said that we were looking forward to having breakfast there.
Our room have a dead fly, two dead spiders, and a live roach on my sleeping wife's arm. The manager stated that it was normal for bugs to share our room. Also, a snake was sighted near our building.

First when you check in you're told for the first time you will need to move to another room the next day as you're really renting a time share. Kiss off a relaxing morning.
The front of the hotel is very very nice as is the lobby. Then you find your room. Squat and uncomfortable. Clean, partly, after you wipe down the outdoor table on the postage size patio and after finally someone comes and fixes the screen slider which has been off its track and leaning against the wall.
Manager aware of the room change issue and says it's a problem they have. Ok. But nothing gets done to resolve it. Lot's of places to stay in PS. This is not one.

I stayed here for a few nights on a long weekend getaway last month. I had been to this hotel for a wedding in 2019, but never actually gotten a room here. Overall, it was enjoyable. Room was quiet, spacious and clean, bed was comfortable, common areas were dated but well-kept, grounds were attractive, and staff was efficient. I was pleased to see that unlike most hotels, they didn't stick me with an extra parking charge (much appreciated). My only real complaint was that it was not easy to eat at Spencers, the restaurant which is on-site but apparently not owned by the hotel... which meant not being able to grab a quick breakfast in the a.m. before going on my way (at least not without a reservation well in advance). Otherwise, however, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

We booked a 1 bedroom deluxe for 2 adults, one toddler and one baby and it was spacious enough. We stayed in the main building, very close to the elevator and it was comfortable and quiet. Conveniently equipped kitchen. Bring your own toiletries. Convenient free parking.

Great location, less than 10 min walking to all the downtown shops. 20 minutes if your toddler insists on walking.

However, there was an issue with cleaning. While on the surface it looked clean enough, there was dust in various places, we found hair in the spare blanket and my kid discovered a used vaping device underneath the air conditioning unit. Not cool.
