Very close to the metro, central in down town. Breakfast was very good. We got complimentary wine in our room. Rooms on higher level, less noise early in the evening, after 1 to 2 in the morning party's stop in down town Los Angeles and it will be quieter. Bed was comfy. Service was good.

My husband and I stayed here for two nights, Saturday and Sunday. For the price, it was ok. There was no pool unfortunately and the "gym" had maybe five pieces of equipment in it because of the small size. It is in a very convenient location. Grocery stores, restaurants are within walking distance. Parking is $30 per night but we didn't have to use it. Considering it was downtown, it was surprisingly quiet.

A few issues: the halls are sweltering! There's no A/C so it was hotter in the halls than outside. Also the bathroom design is terrible. It's very small. Only one person at a time will fit in front if the mirror. The round, flat bottomed sink doesn't drain very well - poorly designed. The water just kind of pools at the bottom, which is gross, especially after brushing. The shower doesn't open near the showerhead so you have to lean in from the other side to adjust it, feeling all of the varying temps before getting the right one. There's also no view. It faces the alley. Finally the elevator door is very slow to open. It takes about 20 seconds to open after you've reached the destination floor, so you just stand there while it lightly pulses. Overall, it served its purpose.

Super efficient check-in. Friendly staff. Very clean. Chic vibe. ve stayed here twice, and both times i was checked in by the same guy who has a great attitude and is super friendly. And pm front desk & lobby security attendant are both alert & approachable. Very clean and super affordable considering how chic the vibe is. This hotel reminds me of a lot of the cool places I've stayed in the lower west side NYC, But without the aloof staff or insane rates. Also, my room was quite big for a LA hotel and the affordable rate. Finally...I was on the top floor and HOT water from the shower & sink were both ON DEMAND. Less than 2 seconds for hot hot water. Plus the room was loaded with clean, white, soft towels, wash cloths, floor mattes. BONUS!

Stayed a Friday night, Jan 3, and was impressed. Great location with 2 restaurants, a club, and a lobby bar. Service was pleasant and informative, esp. Eric and the guy at the desk Friday morning. Held our luggage and refused to accept tips! Walked to Fashion Institute Museum and thrift store, great deals on clothes, mostly women's, jewelry bangles and cetera. The girls were happy, boys found Hank's Bar a block away. Good booze and interesting crew. Panini for lunch, giant portions, then we hit an expensive place, Faith and Flower on 9th for happy hour. Hotel has a great central location, short walks to lots of stuff, highly recommend. Price was great, rooms were very well designed, very very clean, and the clientele was mostly European and quite interesting. Stayed up late in bar talking. We will be back.

This hotel is very well located in Downtown LA. Lots of Parking nearby if you are driving and lots of Bars and Restaurants within walking distance or a short Taxi ride away.

The hotel itself is nothing fancy, but it's not too expensive either. Considering the cost of many hotels in the area, I would say its a well priced option for anyone not intending spending a lot of time in the hotel.

Not as advertised! No breakfast to-go, the coffee maker in the room was broken, no housekeeping service, and the bathroom "door" is a sliding glass panel that offers little privacy. Hotel room doors are so thin that we were awakened at Midnight, 2 AM, and 3:30 AM by other guests having conversations in the hallway. Staff not at the front desk, but on the sidewalk in front of the hotel smoking and chatting. The single piece of "art" hanging on the wall in Room 318 belongs in an entirely different type of establishment. And they had the nerve to charge a resort fee when they didn't even provide the basics! Would never go back.

I stayed in the O Hotel for six nights and I really don’t have anything bad to say about the hotel at all. Location wise was pretty much perfect for what I wanted and needed, being only a five or so minute walk from 7th Street/Metro, a subway station that served everywhere I wanted to go, and a 10 minute walk from Crypto.com arena.

I had a Queen room which faced a brick wall, probably not the most appealing of views but it did mean I didn’t have to put up with any external street noise. As a solo traveller the room itself was more than adequate, and the bottles of water in the fridge was a nice touch.

As others have pointed out, the security on the front door was a reassuring touch, while the front desk staff were always friendly and very welcoming.

I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking to visit LA for a handful of days.

It’s in a sketchy neighborhood but it’s close to 7-11, ihop, subway, the metro and Walgreens. It’s a pretty nice hotel, and the room is fine. Good internet and the housekeeping stocks up on bottled water each day so that’s good. Now the negatives, and they’re big, and costing this hotel at least a couple stars.
One morning, the shower was really cold. One night, both my key cards didn’t work for some reason but the concierge fortunately fixed them when I complained. Here’s the worst problem. Last night, the fire alarm blared loudly at midnight waking me up. I called front desk and they said it was a false alarm. Half an hour later, that damn alarm blared again for a long time. And just tonight, at nearly midnight, the alarm blared again, and it’s very loud and annoying, particularly for something that’s just a false alarm. Is this some kind of joke??? Fix that damn alarm or just disable it if it’s going to keep scaring the hell out of your guests every night like this. ‘False alarm’ is not an acceptable excuse, especially if it keeps coming on again and again. Sorry, but for this reason, next time I won’t return.

Hard to find; room is small; lighting is extremely poor, not enough to work at. Light switches poorly placed. No countertop space on either side of bathroom sink. There is an additional $20 charge for nothing. The parking next door is $25 overnight or $40 in and out per day. There is no place to load luggage except in the parking lot next door

If you travel much, you get a sense of how well a hotel is run from the moment you arrive. The O Hotel immediately impresses. Reception team is polished, efficient, knowledgeable and seemingly proud to work there. Common areas and rooms have a cool, boutique vibe and are very clean and in good condition. I spent the first night in a standard room at the back of the hotel. It was comfortable, well laid out and extremely quiet. If you are a light sleeper, you may want to request a room in that part of the hotel. The second night a king suite opened up and was made available to me as a Wyndham Diamond member. It is as nice and spacious as those found in far more expensive hotels. Robes, Nespresso coffee maker, china coffee cups and real glasses add to the luxe experience. Parking is in the attached garage, which was extremely convenient. The continental breakfast provides a good start to the day. I would have given the hotel 5 stars, but the fitness center equipment is outdated and broken, and the inside of the elevator has seen better days. The staff mentioned some updates to the hotel are planned. I suspect those minor issues will be addressed.
