Overall this is a good choice and if decide on another Wasaga beach vacation we will definitely return to this property.

We stayed in a 1 bedroom suite facing the river. The room was spacious and very clean. Cha at front desk was very helpful and friendly. The king size bed was great, really comfortable mattress.

When you check in, the hotel charges a security deposit which is returned if you take out the garbage and ensure that the dishes are clean and put away. We had no problem with getting our security deposit back at the end of our stay.

A few things to keep in mind:

the WiFI is almost nonexistent. We managed to get on once, sitting on our balcony. TV only has analog channels. Not sure if the Wifi issues are common in Wasaga or the property needs to upgrade their connection.

Stairs -the hotel doesn’t have an elevator, not an issue for us, however the stairwell area could use some maintenance /cleaning - it’s the first thing that a guest sees and it should be cleaner.

Bedding and towels - for the cost of the room, would have expected better quality, more luxurious feel to them.

I cannot understand some of the negative reviews on this site for this hotel. It isn't a typical hotel but more of a small housekeeping condo building being run like a hotel. We had 3 adults in the riverview one bedroom (2 bathrooms) and it was very spacious and sparkling clean. We enjoyed the private space on the river and the balcony. Beach 2 is right across the road but if you plan to bring much with you to the beach, its advisable if you have a collapsible wagon of some sort. The owner has a place on the same property and it sounds like they do not tolerate partying crowds. The only complaint I can make is that the air conditioning unit is quite loud but we find that at many hotels/motels. Also there are no elevators so if you have a lot of stuff or have mobility issues, you may want to stick to the first floor.

Hotel is new, with free wi-fi. The rooms have a small kitchen with fridge, stove, oven, dishwasher, coffeemaker, toaster (no microwave). Furniture was nice. Bathroom was clean but had no counter space to set things. The lighting in the room was not great - one small bedside lamp and dim recessed ceiling fixtures. Parking was free and available right outside the room door. Hotel is on the river, very pretty. 2 minute walk to a very fun and busy beach.

We came to Riverdocks for a last minute getaway and planned to stay one night. We were so impressed with the suite and the service that we ended up staying an extra night. We had the one bedroom suite and were amazed at how modern it was finished. The kitchen was perfectly equipped with a stainless steel stove, oven, dishwasher, fridge and microwave - all were spotless and worked perfectly. The dishes were clean and modern. The suite itself was really nice, comfortable and very, very, clean. The king size bed was super comfortable and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The hotel is only a short two minute walk to the beach, but also has its own little beach in the back by the docks with lounge chairs, umbrellas and couches to kick back in. There are even two webber BBQ's with all the utensils available for self-grilling. My family of three had an amazing stay here and will be back for sure. Thank you Cha for being so accommodating and going out of your way to make our stay so pleasant. This is the best place to stay in Wasaga for sure!

Keitha was awesome to deal with when organizing our weekend. We played hockey games in Colllingwood and Thornbury and all were just a short drive away. Rooms were great. Very clean. We enjoyed having a full kitchen for dining in and for socializing. The beach was just across the road and it was nice to go for a walk.

This recently opened hotel lacks basic things in the suites like toaster, coffee making facilities, cleaning aids. Just to name a few. Cutlery is of the Uri Geller variety, if you look at them they bend. Although opening times of the desk are advertised (on paper and voicemail) as between 8am and 10pm, when we wanted to leave on Sunday at 8am we found out from the cleaners they didnt open till 9am. Calling the emergency number given, gets you a voicemail option to which you dont get a response. Wifi wasnt working and had to assist the desk manager to get it working again. Basically price - quality is wrong.

Had a great time here great grounds nice and quiet great location and the rooms were awesome. Would definitely come back!! There is BBQ u can use nice do dock where you can sit as well as a fire pit at night time. Across the street is the beach a 5min walk and it's close to downtown area about 1tmin walk. Very quiet and private place perfect for families.

We spent a lot of money staying at this high rated place to find the suite basic and rather dirty. The shower and toilet were very unclean with mold on them.

The actual room was of a good standard although for some reason the TV was faulty and wouldn't turn on. The Beds were comfy but the sliding doors wouldn't lock.

The Wi-Fi connected but wouldn't work on any device which was very bad bearing in mind that the hotel advertises free WiFi not Wifi that doesn't actually work and some of the sockets didn't work.

Very expensive and disappointing

Coming here during the busy weekend made it OK to pay top dollar for a 1 bedroom suite, however, the quality of this place doesn't deserve anything close. Reading the sign inside suite demanding you to clean your dishes remove ALL trash and fold back pull out couch, otherwise a $250 fee. Really? I will never stay there again, even at half price. Ps. No elevator, try lugging all your luggage up 3 flights of slippery stairs in February.

This condo/hotel is supposed to be the most modern accommodation in wasaga beach, but is pretty basic. Don't get me wrong the accommodation is clean and close to the beach - just across the road. But the room we stayed in was really odd. Very large room and full kitchen ( totally unnecessary) and a tiny double bed - squeezed into a corner. The TV is in a odd position along with couch. On the deck was the air conditioner which was loud and made it impossible to enjoy. Turned out to be not an issue as the weather was great and we spent it on the fabulous beach. But if the weather had been bad, yikes. The cable did not work and the wi-fi was non existent. I tend to notice the details in a room so I might be a bit picky -
