We stayed two nights, arriving by train from Phitsanulok.

We wanted somewhere quiet and knew we could use the free bikes to get around to see the main attractions. This was a good call - giving us a nice peaceful setting with the main sites a relatively short bike ride away.

The family-run establishment is made up of about 7 rooms in a separate concrete block. The family live in a large wooden house on site.

We were in a downstairs room at one end of the block. The rooms are simply furnished with concrete featuring once again in the floor finish and in-room sink. Outdoor deluge shower was very good. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast ample.

The overall garden setting is very nice, with a lot of greenery and nice sense of space.

It's not walkable from the railway station, but the 20 minute tuk tuk ride is only THB120. On departure, the owner organised a taxi to Don Muang airport for us, as 'Grab' can be a bit hit and miss in that direction.

The accommodation was perhaps a tad overpriced compared with other comparable places we stayed in across Thailand this time round, but still reasonable value and we'd stay here again.

Our family did not book the hotel beforehand, we checked the review and booked the hotel upon arrival as we wanted to check the quality of the hotel first. No surprise why the hotel gets the top ranking on many online websites. Once we arrived, the senior lady who owns the hotel gently welcomed us with the bael fruit welcome-drink and showed us the room. We selected the room downstair as we wanted to have an area for the night chitchat. The hotel looked exactly the same as the pictures shown on many websites. The building was mixed with cement and wood. The room was super clean and there was an upper room located at the front of the hotel which filled with many collected ancient decorations. In the early morning, the lotus pond was filled with light fog - best oxygen spot in Ayutthaya. The breakfast was sufficient and the drink & bread station was lovely arranged. The hotel was peaceful. I really recommend this place for anyone who looks for tranquility.

Facing a river with lotus and fishes, squirrels, birds nestled at this place. Setting is like living in a forest, with comfortable rooms and amazing host and breakfast! Location is not far from all the historical visits with an average of 10-15 mins car ride 😊

Centrally located in relation to the tourist attractions.

The rooms are functional and clean. We had a first floor apartment overlooking the garden.

The owner is very friendly.

It is recommended to have a car or motor bike to move around as there are no actual pavements in the area.

What a little gem. This hotel is so relaxing and the grounds are gorgeous. It truly is paradise. The rooms are clean and spacious and the owners and staff are so sweet and kind. It's not 5 star quality with 500 thread count sheets, etc. But what it lacks in refinement it scores huge in ambience. The breakfast was delicious!

It's about a 20 minute walk to the main tourist attractions. There are a number of small restaurants within a block that hit the spot. Nothing fancy, but outstanding Thai food at dirty cheap prices.

Totally relaxing and zen place. Lovely welcoming. The reception and breakfast area is an old beautiful wood house with the 4 bedrooms in a modern built extension nicely integrating. In front of you a river with nénuphars complete the peaceful experience. Extremely good value for money. Short bicycle ride to the night market.

I only stayed at this hotel for one night and it was very late when I arrived. I did not eat the breakfast so I cannot comment on the food. The accommodations were fine, the bed was a bit hard, but that would be my only concern, the rest of my short stay was good. The staff were very kind and gracious.

Hi There were only two of us and two suitcases so we used a Tuk Tuk. I'm slightly hazy on the exact cost, but I'm fairly sure it was around 100 Baht. To be honest, I tend not to worry too much about bargaining as the Thais are, in general, lovely people and it converts to A$4 - approx GB2 pounds. It may have been slightly more than I should have paid. Enjoy your trip. Cheers Christopher
