Its nearly doubled in size since we firsted stayed, but the staff are just as polite and nothing is ever to much trouble.
The min we got out our taxi the reception staff remembered us, and welcomed us as long lost friends.
We had asked for the same room as last year (in the old bit), but they offered us to see the new rooms, we went and had a look and they were great, flat screen tv, tea and coffee making machine, but we still wanted to stay in the old bit. Glad we did as it was quiet, rooms were cleaned ever day, bedding and towels also changed daily.
They now offer a free shuttle service into Patong in the morning, 9, 10 and 11 am and free wifi in reception, if you want wifi in the room you pay for it, think it was about 100 for the hr or 200 for 24hrs.
We are going back next year and will defo stay here again.
Staff were friendly at check in and rooms were very well taken after daily! If you want to use a towel for the swimming pool you need to pay a small 20 baht fee but than you can keep that towel for the few days you stay there!
So, really great place to stay!!!
On the day of check-in there was no bell boy and rooms were quite far, so with kids we had to take all luggage ourselves. When we were not able to locate our room (resort is spread over reasonably large area) we had to beg for help, as staff didn't come to show the room readily. We didn't book breakfast online, so checked if they can take the booking for breakfast at the time of check-in, they didn't accept to book the breakfast, I don't understand it is one of their revenue and a comfort they can offer to customer. But they completely denied service even when we were willing to pay additional breakfast charges.
The hot water in shower didn't work as the geyser was very small, after 1 or 2 secs cold water would start flowing. There is only shower without any bath tub/regular tap. The water from shower spreads all over except your body. Wet and dry areas are not properly separated, water flows easily into dry area, messing the whole toilet. There were no complimentary toiletries as well.
Even the complimentary coffee/tea sachets were not replaced unless sought and the mugs were not clean. To raise complaints we had to personally walk to lobby as there was no intercom.

STAFF ARE RUDE
BREAKFEST WAS LIKE DOG FOOD
DRINKS OVER PRICED
ROOMS ARE SHOCKING
DO NOT COME HERE
NOTE TO THE RECEPTIONIST
GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER U ARE ONE OF THE RUDEST PERSON I EVER COME ACROSS
FROM ROOM 3209
TV was not working and half the screen was blurb. The staff took my deposit and never returned . they accused my rudely that one small area of the wallpaper has been torn , I never touched that but they kept saying this and did not return my deposit !!
Also the pools are closed at 18:00 ...the best time of swimming its closed .. Dont go there and dont be fooled for the lobby and russian girls there because its just a show.
Another unpleasant experience was with the motorbike rent. Motorbikes are generally in a very poor condition. We looked through the bike before renting it and even did a pictures of scratches, but forgot to check the tires. On a service station worker showed as that we had a flat tire! The tire was totaly worned out. I'm so happy we did not had an acident becouse of that on the road! It was clear that we did not pierced it on the way, but it happend because it was so old. We called the hotel and told them about our problem. For my biggest surprise I haven't heard any apologies. We were aprox.10-15 km away from the hotel. Staff told me that I need to pay for repair and for transfer if someone from the hotel will peak me up. The amount she said was 2000 batt, then 1000 batt for the transfer. Staff was very rude to me and did not want to listen. While I was still explaining the situation lady from reception was repeating:" You pay, you pay, you pay". Seems that "money" and "you pay" are the only english word they know well. The rest of the speech is really hard to understand. Finaly, I repaired motorbike in service station for 200 batt and returned to hotel myself.
"Don't have the breakfast. There are lots of option near by that would be a better choice."Read full review
