.. it did. It's like having the best of both worlds. The hustle and bustle, including water activities during the day, seclusion and rest at night (after a good dinner and nightlife).

Access to private/exclusive beaches - Puka Beach and Punta Bunga.. It's as if, we own the island, and the same time not being denied of the crowd in Stations 1, 2 and 3. Going to/from Ecovillage from/to the main area (Stations 1,2 & 3) will only cost you 100 to 150 (for a family of 5).

While the rooms/facility are not in the best of condition, it's more than enough to give you a good rest (since you're out most of the times).

Food? Well, we did avail of the complimentary daily breakfast. Not that spectacular though. But still, options abound when you're in the main area.

The "ambiance" for me was perfect, with a hilltop hotel, overlooking the beach and trees, plus the sound of nature.

My default hotel unless there's a compelling reason for me stay somewhere else. My excellent rating for the Location was based on my preference by the way.

I will recommend everybody I know to stay in Ecovillage during their stay in Boracay. This is so amazing that we spent only 1400P/night and got the best service. The room was neat and nice with clean bathroom and very comfortable bed. The staff here are very friendly and arrange free shuttle to PUKA beach and DMALL for us. They also provide very clean beach towel for us which is so considerate. The swimming pool there was great with no other guests on that day. From there, you can walk through a path that takes 10min to their private beach sharing with Shangrila Hotel. They even prepare beach chairs for us on both Bunta Bunga beach and PUKA beach. The food here are at very reasonable price and very nice. The only problem is the shower water is very small. Overall, this is really the greatest hotel on this island with so good price.

Me and 5 of my buddies stayed here for a night last Nov 10. We stayed in room 203 which has 1 single bed, 1 double and 2 pull beds to occupy other pax. Room is clean. Linens are fine, 32 lcd tv is working. Fridge is available as well as electronic kettle. View deck is wonderful! Overlooking the scenic Punta Bunga Beach.

Staff are accomodating. I remembered when we're informed that we are the only guests that time. But despite that, we are really well taken care off with all the amenities put to work, without taking into consideration the cost of operation.

In house restaurant serves good tasting food but a bit pricey.

Secluded place just like what they say. But this is good if you want to relax and have some quiet times! We decided to take a night here after spending 2 nights in the crowded and party place district.

I would surely suggest this place and wish to come back here soon. I like the idea that they have a good slot in Puka Beach where.you can lay down on their beach beds.

First, beore saying anything baf about a place I ried to check... How much did I pay for, Is it peak season or That is where I start to build my expectations.

First of all they are over priced for a very old room without extra amenities. They don't have complimentary water. You have to buy a small one for 30php! No coffee.. I have to wait for 6am to buy coffee which is not good as I am an early riser! I was like.. I wake up and stuck! It is far from everything! They should have something where there guest could buy their needs but none! You can also hear the noise of the next room and those in the hall way. Even those who just talk normally.
We wen to their resto at exactly 6am and I am writing this 6:56am already still my breakfast is not served!!! Nothing is eco about this place too! Worst, overpriced and very bad service and amenities too!!!

I don't suggest this place esecially if you don't want to ruin your vacation.

If you are a party goer, it's not the place for you. If you want a resort near to the beach, it's not the place for you. It is 15 minutes away by tricyle to boat station 1,2 and 3 (where the shops, restaurants and parties are) 100 Php fare. Although, they have a free shuttle service to Boat Station 2, but have time schedule (the last trip is 7pm). They have big and nice swimming pools (adult and kiddie) and one jacuzzi. If you want to go to the beach, they have one but you will walk 8-10 minutes to get there, the beach is called Punta Bunga beach. This beach is shared with another resort. Going to this beach is easy because it's going down the hill, but it makes going back up difficult. Punta Bunga beach is quite a long beach, clean and has clear water too. They have free shuttle to Puka Beach too, 10 minutes to get there by shuttle service, it's my favorite part of Boracay. Amazing view, perfect for swimming, playing volleyball, picture taking and relaxing.

We traveled to Boracay on Feb. 12-14, 2014.
So, 2 weeks before ,we called up the hotel for reservation and we chose the standard room for only 2,300 pesos per night,it includes of free shuttle pick up at the port , free breakfast for two, and free shuttle ride to and from D'mall 4 times a day which is in station 2(i guess) and Puka beach anytime from 6am to 7pm.
It was a great experience staying in this hotel for the reason that we can do any sports activities like basketball, billiards, badminton and volleyball. It's also accessible to a very scenic view of Puka and Punta Bunga beach (Must see! specially morning and afternoon), has a very relaxing atmosphere brought by cool breeze air, sounds of birds, and has very calm environment. Gym isn't there, so we rate 4 or just very good for the fitness center category, and for the spa,we haven't tried it, but it seems relaxing. We admirably like the service and the crews of this hotel because they were so nice, approachable, attentive and pleasant. Money spent-WORTH IT!!!

The only main flaw is the bathroom water supply is a li'l bit poor.
Overall, the experience was excellent and we will definitely surely comeback.

My wife and I visited Boracay Island for 5 days on a tight budget. We arrived with no reservations at all. On our first night we found a place in Station 3. It was in our budget but the place was not comfortable at all, and all the noise and busyness of White Beach was a major turn off. So the next day we rode a tricycle to the other end of the island and found Boracay Ecovillage. As soon as we saw the price, saw the room, saw the amenities and services and felt the warmth of the staff we knew we would enjoy this place. We stayed in the deluxe room at the convention center... it was huge with a cozy king bed, modern bathroom, great a/c and a nice motif. The pool was so nice and clean. The convention center doubled as a gymnasium for all our badmitten and basketball lovers. They have a small cafe where you can get on wifi. There is a private beach you can walk to and watch the sun set. There are regular shuttles back to the craziness of White Beach or to, our favorite spot, Puka Beach. We definitely enjoyed the peace and quiet of this place and the staff really worked hard to make our stay great. If that is what you want you should check them out. We wish we could stay longer. C16 was a great room :)

The first reason not to stay here is the location, which is on the opposite end of the island as the stations. This means timing all your activities based on the hotel pickup schedule.

The shower room looked like it had never been cleaned before, ever. The staff were friendly but the front desk closed every night at 10pm. The food served by the hotel was gross, recommend eating at a restaurant. I will say that the hotel has a spectacular view from its location at the top of a hill.

We booked two standard rooms in the main building.
This is one of the most extreme places I have stayed at for positive and negative.
The location is very good if you like a beautiful, peaceful beach for a decent price. The beach is the best part and is a 5 minute walk downhill (10 minutes back up) and is absolutely lovely. There aren't many people, the water is better than the main area of Boracay and it is a great place to relax. Punta Bunga is the best beach I have seen on Boracay. There are also hardly any annoying hawkers, we just encountered two (far far far fewer than in the main area of Boracay)The swimming pool is also good and a very decent size. The bed had a very comfortable mattress. Staff are efficient and polite.
The negatives though are a pain too. The hotel has a big basketball stadium right in the middle of it and the noise of the balls hitting the court reverberate around the hotel and are clearly audible in the rooms. The whoop whoop and screams of the local youths playing basketball is constant and they start early morning until well into the evening. You can hear it all from your room. Whoop whoop! Our room also had problems with the electric, which went out and we couldn't get it back on, though the other room we booked had theirs working fine.
Food is not great there. If you like very simple Philippine food you can get it from the village shacks along the road, but there is little else other than the basic hotel restaurant.
Internet is only available in the cafe restaurant, sadly.
So, recommended for basketball fanatics who like a lovely beach and pool and don't care about their room.
