Harrah's Resort Atlantic City seems to garner mixed feedback from its guests. Some visitors commend the resort for its clean, well-appointed rooms with pleasing views, yet many others are disenchanted, particularly highlighting unclean conditions and a lack of maintenance. The high cost of amenities and hidden fees are a source of strong dissatisfaction, diminishing the perceived value of a stay here. Moreover, travelers often find the service lacking, with reports of unhelpful staff and slow check-in processes. The amenities, while sometimes appreciated, are marred by additional charges and inconsistent housekeeping.

No valet service during the week. You can pull your car in to valet but after waiting 30 minutes you have to figure out how to back out because no one is working. Housekeeping did not come after 3 days with towels and shampoo, etc. we called housekeeping at 9 pm and they said someone would bring towels and essentials to room. Never happened. We had so much garbage we had to leave cans outside room and finally on the fourth day we had housekeeping, I guess because they had to since our garbage cans were in hallway.
Harrahs is dog friendly so if you want to bring dogs it’s a good place; if sharing an elevator and possibly being in a room where dogs have been you might want to pick a diiferent hotel.
Also during the week there is nothing really available for a nice breakfast and even on weekends what is available is ridiculously overpriced because you are virtually isolated at the marina area and they take advantage of that.

The room itself in the water tower is very nice, and the casino is fine.

I stayed here for 3 nights due to a business conference.
And stayed in the Bayview tower. Honestly, I expected better.
The room was never cleaned before we checked in. The shower floor was filthy. There was dust and rust everywhere.
The sink in the bathroom was consistently stopped up. I called for cleaning service each night I stayed and asked that they clean the shower at the least. Someone came to the room and brought towels and toiletries they never cleaned the shower. No one ever came to service the room for any cleaning the entire time i was there. I had to request they empty the trash cans in the room and this they did when they bought the additional towels and toiletries I requested because the toiletries in the bathroom were EMPTY BOTTLES.
The carpet was somewhat damp and smelled moldy.
There was so much dust in the room my allergies were triggered daily. There was no bottled water in the room.
The “free” WIFI that included 2 devices kept kicking me off the network. The service in the hotel is shoddy so you have no choice but to try and connect to WI-FI. This is a problem specifically if you’re traveling on business and rely on internet service for your business. The lack of cleanliness in a time where cleanliness should be held to the upmost standard is astounding. I had to use Microban and alcohol wipes on everything.
Harrah’s is NOT an establishment I would have booked for myself. And after this business trip I never will.

The self check-in was very easy, but it gave us a smoking room. I’ve never been in a room that had such a bad smell of smoke I had to go back and wait in line to get a different room. I give the room at 10. It was very clean had everything in a room you would need. The room was a great rate until you throw in the resort fee and about $15 in taxes. Did not like the fact that you had to pay $20 to use the pool. if you’re going to charge $20 to use the pool at least make it clean there was empty cups in the pool. There was a lime floating in the pool. The food choices in the pool were excellent. The casino good choices of games

Our 1st time at Harrah’s, upon arrival we were impressed. Checking in at the front desk was smooth and pleasant. We stayed at Waterfront Tower. However, on the 2nd day after my wife inquired, management informed her that housekeeping will not clean the room unless requested & only if they have time. Roach Hotel in the making. If you have room service for breakfast or dinner or left overs, the food will stay in your room’s trash bins. If you use the coffee/coffee cups provided, they will not be replenished. They will provide fresh towels upon request.
The ONLY highlight was the indoor pool.
Their housekeeping policy doesn’t make sense, it’s not hygienic. Also, as we packed our belongings, I found a blue bottle cap by the bed and she found a contact lense on the bathroom floor. We don’t use contact lenses.

Stayed at Harrah's for 2 nights, a Sunday and a Monday. They said you could check in on line. They asked how many people were staying in the room and their names, supposedly so they could provide the right amount of towels, etc. Check in was 2 pm. If you wanted to check in early there was an additional charge, so I choose to check in on line but filled in the time for arrival as of 2 pm. We were told that we would be emailed when the room was ready. That never happened so I went to the front desk to inquire. The line was long and they only had 2 people working it. After approximately a half hour, we Finally got our room and we were also told that the key to the room would be how you access the self park garage. Most everyone's keys never worked at the garage so therefore, the line to get out of the garage on Sunday was huge. It caused us to be over a half hour late meeting other people at the Borgota. You had to press a button for some one to open the gate through an intercom. She told us to go the the front desk and get new keys. When we got back that night, around 10 pm, we went to the front desk, once again only 2 people working, another half hour waiting. Got new keys, they did not work for the entire time we were at the hotel. Constantly wasting time trying to call for help through the intercom system. Even at check-out.

The room was nice, newly renovated, two towels exactly for the shower, coffee machine, etc. We never got towels for our second day, or soaps, coffee, etc. Had to call housekeeping when we got back to our room Monday night and I was told towels would be brought within an hour. I also asked why there was no housekeeping for the bed and was told they do not make up the beds anymore, which was fine, but a notice in our room would have been appreciated. No excuse was given for not getting towels.

There are many hotels in Atlantic City, This is one I would avoid. You will waste a lot of time waiting on lines trying to correct the problems that seem to arise.

Both day time and night time we saw numerous large roaches around the pool. I get things happen but when you’re spending thousands on bottle service, or hanging out at the pool after paying $10-20 per person to access the pool the last thing you want is a roach on you… which yes it did happen and was extremely gross. Nothing luxury or relaxing about that.

Many great staff members throughout the resort BUT also Quite a bit of staff throughout that were more than rude and seemed very annoyed at any interaction. Extremely frustrating when hoping for and definitely paying for a good experience with the beyond marked up prices.

At the pool: Many bartenders and servers are extremely nice, but the security team is extremely unprofessional and rude. After being falsely accused of insulting someone by a random person who was clearly starting issues with random groups of people(not just us) the response from security was to ask if I should be escorted to my room? Not even look into what this person was saying, not the fact that I had never even been where this person was saying the issue occurred? Or even the fact that we had spent quite a bit of money on bottle service here and were polite and friendly with everyone to the point where other staff and bartenders were basically friends at the end of the night… still the security guard’s first response is to say to escort me back to my room? I don’t think Borgata, Ocean resort or any other casino treats their “vip” customers this way… nor has roaches at the vip tables or at the pool..
Needless to say we’ll take our business there next time instead.

Absolutely looking forward to staying at the Borgata or Ocean resort next time as the few days at Harrahs were definitely a waste of money and even frustrating at time.

Harrahs is a bit out of the way but $15 Uber will get you to the boardwalk. Rumoured to have the loosest slots in AC, on the 25c machines. We had fun in the casino but wow food and drink is expensive. Room was lovely, a waterfront wing but not much waterfront seen from our room. Looked a bit like mudflats. pool under the dome looked nice but not at $20 access for 2. Maybe it's the time of year but food places mostly closed. Uber eats helps! We bought a $12 bottle of wine in the hotel shop for $30. Drinks in tiny bar are expensive too, $15 a glass of house wine. All of this is manageable (esp if you stock up at Walmart (a 15 min drive) but for me the service was poor. After 3 days of no maid service we asked for the room to be serviced (phoned housekeeping) They asked what exactly we wanted done....we asked for room to be cleaned, bins emptied, bed made, fresh towels. We asked again at front desk the next day, then again by phone to housekeeping. We eventually got towels but had to put the waste bins outside in the hope they would get emptied. Well they got taken away, so we were left with no waste bin at all Day 6 and still no room clean, bin change, or anything else. Despite daily housekeeping requests. On today's call we also asked for toilet paper, it was hanging from the doorknob when we got back this afternoon. Customer service is poor when it comes to housekeeping. There is no housekeeping service. And no 'please make up my room' card for the door. And no info in the room, at reception or o n TV, no App . Lack of info lack of communication. Wouldn't stay again.

I stayed at Harrah's casino Tues, 8/30/2022 to Fri, 9/2/2022, by far the worst hotel I've even stayed at in Atlantic City.

My first night I was given a room on the 16th floor in the Bayview tower, I literally saw a roach crawling on my bed at 1:00am as I got ready to go to sleep after gambling for a few hours. I had to go to the front desk in the morning with all of my lounge in order to be relocated to another room. They would not comp my night, even after I showed them pictures of the roach in my room.

I was reassigned another room on the 17th floor in the Waterfront tower. Soon as I entered, I saw the floor, carpet and counter was dirty - skittles, crumbs, and hair pins. I called the for house keeping, they said they would send someone, that never happened - I had to leave my room and beg the housekeeper on the floor to vacuum.

Harrah's has a $10 pool entrance fee for their own guests! This casino is no where near the boardwalk and beach.

The last maddening thing at Harrah's was when I went out early morning to gamble and returned to my room at 3:00pm and there had been NO housekeeping. I called the housekeeper line, they literally told me "you are on the list to be serviced, however, due to limited housekeepers, there is no guarantee your room will be attended to".

Horrible experience, worst ever in AC and in general from start to finish, there are other casinos with way higher customer service, cleaner and free access for guest to their pool, all while on the boardwalk.

I will NEVER return to Harrah's casino!

Attended Northeast regional pest control conference. The meeting facility, casino and room assignment were satisfactory. The check-in process was not. The check-in kiosks were not working when we attempted to check in, despite pre-registering and having a code to scan. No staff were in the area to assist. Were not told the hotel no longer provides housekeeping services. After three day stay our room was rather disheveled. Wasn't told they no longer service the hotel rooms. Our stay was supposed to include complimentary parking. Our key card did not work on trying to exit the garage. Pressing the help button did not bring assistance, so after getting stuck at the exit it cost $10 to back up and depart at another exit lane. Guests should be told upfront about the housekeeping services and the garage should be attended whenever it's in use.

Bring Bleach, Lysol Disinfect spray, 91% Alcohol, and shower slippers, body soap, slippers.
Very unsanitary Smelly rooms, Molded bathrooms, Rust all around bathroom sink tables, nasty carpets rooms/halls, filthy stained bedding/towels.
Also, Throughly Check All Room Fees.. . They Allowed someone to Bill Restaurant Charges to one of our Rooms and I have to wait 30 days for them to investigate it.
I said with all of the unsanitary conditions in harrahs I wouldn't feed my animal any food from any restaurant inside of harrahs or any of caesars properties for that matter. I've had bad experiences in all of their properties in Atlantic city that we've stayed at ballys, caesars, harrahs... Not to mention I have my kids with me all the visits to their properties in atlantic city and all horrible experiences. I will not be staying in any of their properties this was it. You know its bad when your kids complain and ask why.....
stay far away....
