There were five of us in two huge rooms.
The bathroom in the Dunelda room was spectacular!! We wanted to take it home!
The breakfast was served in the dining room and was delicious!
The whole home was beautiful and so clean. Highly recomended!
I was pleased to see they had a highchair for my 1 year old but I was disappointed to find there were no children's options on the menu. The waiter suggested we select something from the main menu and they would prepare a smaller portion but I really struggled to find any child friendly options. My kids ended up eating the vegetables off my own plate (a dry piece of roast chicken and a couple of bits of broccoli and mash £15) and their grandparents' chips. The waiter brought water for my one year old in a GLASS with a straw.
It was overall a nice atmosphere and the garden was lovely and the kids got out for a play, however I don't think I would go back until there was a reasonable child options on the menu (given that they do supply highchairs and baby changing facilities...!).
That is not customer service. It was checkout time and we were anxious to check out to go and visit relatives. In general, he was not very personable either day and should probably choose another business that does not include customer service. The house itself is lovely.
Did I mention the comfortable rooms? That is the key to over-nighting- rest and comfort. I count on it here.
Anytime we need a place to stay in Peterborough, we'll be staying at the Moffat House.
"We did not see all the rooms. Ours faced to the backyard but the house is on a corner lot. Traffic is reduced considerably at night."Read full review
