Stayed on the night of Halloween as it is located conveniently in Mongkok where can be reached easily after a long nite of food and drinks and laughter with friends upon the Government’s latest meal restrictions of 6 pax in a table. We checked in just before midnite. Although the district is a bit dark on the roads, this new hotel glitters like a gem at the back of the buildings. Staff was friendly and efficient. In no time we arrived at our room on high floor. Size of the room and amenities were adequate against its price of below hk$500. Very clean and equipped with the usual bathroom amenities of Hilton from the Crabtree. We tried the breakfast the next morning which was served in the chinese restaurant. Breakfast was in sets with choice of Chinese, western or vegetarian, supplemented with buffet style drinks, bread, fruit and cereal. The taste was only average and I would definitely opt for the 750 points instead next time as not far from the hotel are fast food shops and restaurants selling food of much better taste. However the swimming pool remained closed even the Government had already lifted the ban. Need to mention the staff there were most friendly including the housekeeping staff who greeted us, the restaurant waitresses who cleared our the tables very efficiently, and the front desk staff Mr Howard Au in particular who helped clear my questions. He even called me afterwards to further clarify and ease my concerns. Only later I found out Howard is the Assistant Guest Service Supervisor of the hotel. In all, my experience of my first stay there was very good! Better than expected!

As a business traveler, I used the MTR line to travel to work which is 8 minutes from the hotel, and certainly is more convenient than taking a taxi in rush hour. For dinner, there are lots of restaurant choices just 5 minutes away at Langham Place shopping mall, but I ate at the hotel's Chinese restaurant which has very good food for nights where you do not wish to venture out. The service level is very high in the lobby, restaurant, and even the cleaning staff who are very positive and always greeting me as I pass by. Finally, the value you receive for the service, cleanliness, and location cannot be beat in the Mong Kok area.

The front desk staff was very friendly and well mannered. The restaurant staff are well trained and the food is good. The location is slightly far from MTR but the walk was less than easy 5 mins. Langham Place is also very close by, easy for shopping.

A great city hotel for mainly recharging after a hectic week. I would not recommend expecting it to be a major staycation destination since the pool is closed and there is basically no recreational facilities on site. The habor view rooms barely overlooks the western oceanfront since the high rise apartments block the views, even though I was at the top floor. They do acknowledge your member status to give you an upgrade (for Gold or above). Service is ok and rooms are neat but kinda small.

This is my first experience in Hilton and the safety & cleaning standard is much higher than other hotel, e.g. sterilize the room, TV control, door handle, bed etc. This made me feel more comfortable. The staff was very nice and efficiency to handle my order. Location was close to main transportation, eg MTR, bus. just 5 mins walk! Restaurant, shopping mall and sightseeing points are nearby eg. Ladies Market ( 5 ~ 10mins walks ).

I had a few minor issues during my stay, but I must recognize Matthew at the front desk. He went above and beyond to make sure my stay was comfortable. He definitely loves what he is doing and really made sure My family was comfortable during our stay. He is very engaging and thoughtful. I also want to recognize Flora at the breakfast restaurant. She was definitely the best host during breakfast. She was the only one who asked what we wanted to drink and if we wanted eggs prepared. We looked forward to seeing her and missed her on her days off. Our room attendant on the 16th floor was also excellent and very caring for our needs with a small baby. I recommend this hotel. The bed was more comfortable and soft compared to other hotels in this area. I will stay again in the future.

We decided to stay on this property due to the Area. Although it is a few blocks walking distance to the main shopping area, Nathan Road. This property is on a quiet street. Where you can get away from the noise and have a good nights rest.
This property needs some minor updating now but the Staff was Amazing. Very clean property. Hilton Garden Inn on Soy Street provide you with Shampoo, conditioner,body wash, body lotion, hand wash and more. Front desk team can assist with recommending places to eat, fun activities in Hong Kong, shopping suggestions and more. This location has a laundry room with laundry detergent for you to use at a small fee. I would definitely stay at this location during my next visit to Hong Kong.

I redeemed 10 nights at Hilton Garden Inn Mongkok between 26 May- 5 June. As a Diamond Member, I was upgraded to an ocean view room. The room was neat and clean though a little small. This was my first time staying at this hotel. I received very friendly and helpful hospitality service the moment I arrived and throughout my stay. Special thanks to Anthony at the reception and also Angel the housekeeper in charge of my floor.
The hotel location is convenient within walking distance to Mongkok subway station and two large modern shopping malls.
Judging from the room rate, I would say it is value worth. I certainly recommend this hotel.

While this hotel is a decent-enough choice for a weekend shopping trip to Mongkok, it definitely is not deserving of a 4 star rating. Our “deluxe” queen room, while in a quiet location, was small and in need of refurbishing (although the bathroom was quite nice). Very few amenities here, and beware inaccurate descriptions on the web site (for example, while the site claims to feature all-day dining, the restaurant is only open at 11 am-2 pm, and after 5 pm). Transportation, particularly taxi service, is difficult here. Staff is not particularly friendly or helpful, and service is spotty. All that aside, if your expectations are not high and you’re looking for safe and clean lodging at a fairly decent price, this is an option worth considering.
